Dining at Proper Eats Food Hall, I decided I wanted some ramen. I ordered one using the QR code and after paying, I made my way to the counter. The workers were all super nice especially the guy making my Ramen. Seemed like he was from Hawaii. I ordered the Miso Ramen (asked for Al Dente Noodles) added Pork Belly (Char Siu Pork.) The soup was delicious. I enjoyed every slurp. The char siu was nice and tender too. Not sure why the Miso Ramen didn't already have protein like the Tonkotsu. I also ordered it with no mushrooms. I did enjoy the bamboo. Great spot if you want a quick fix on the strip.

Easy and quick it was to order from Laughing Buddha inside Aria's Proper Eats Food Hall. Organized and polished was their kitchen. Though expected in Vegas, still quite expensive was their satisfying "Tonkotsu Ramen Bowl" with acceptable slurping ramen, tasty char siu pork, and, a good added marinated egg served in a delicious pork broth!CHEERS!

You've got to be kidding me. I don't know how this place has 4 stars. Did we just get 3 bad bowls of ramen??? It was the worst we've had! It literally tasted like water and noodles with zero flavoring. The instant noodles I make at home were much better. We tried to suck it up and had a few bites but even that was difficult. We had to send it back. Yuck.

Decent ramen spot located in the Proper Eats Food Hall in the Aria. Came here for dinner on a Monday night and the food hall wasn't too packed. My friend and I shared the Tonkatsu Ramen and an order of the Pork Belly Bao Bun. The ramen was pretty good, not the best ramen but it hit the spot. The bao buns were pretty solid. The most crazy thing about the meal was the fact that the fountain drink was $8. Make sure you get as many refills on your way out to make it your moneys worth. Overall decent spot! Lots of other options in the food hall too so a great option for a group of people.

According to their website, "Laughing Buddha is the home of steamy, delectable ramen noodles and breathtaking broths." So what did we order? Pork belly bao buns because we don't listen, apparently. Pork belly bao bun ($13 - served with pickled cucumbers and hoisin sauce): Thinly sliced pork belly nestled in a squishy warm bread with a crisp pickled cucumber and a thick, fragrant sauce? Heck yeah! You really can't go wrong with pork belly bao buns and at this price tag, it's decent.Laughing Buddha is a place that I wouldn't mind trying again but with such great ramen spots around town, it's hard to dedicate stomach real estate space for Laughing Buddha. I would rather go off strip and get some noodz.

Perfect recovery food when in Vegas! I love this food court and it's super convenient ordering off your phone. We ordered ramen and it was good but nothing special. Overpriced but expected because Vegas.

Located in a very nice food hall at Aria. On the 2nd floor. Spacious and airy. You order from your phone (scan QR code) or from kiosks throughout the food hall. Seating weaves throughout. No real interaction with the individual food purveyors. We ordered from our phone and got text messages confirming order, approximate wait time and when the food was ready. Ordered the crispy eggplant bao buns. First time trying bao buns so nothing to compare with but thought they were delicious. The eggplant was crispy and not greasy.

I was at the Proper Eats Food Hall to try the Tonkotsu Ramen at the Laughing Buddha restaurant. I was there on a Monday evening, where I placed my order at 8:26p and picked up my SINGLE FOOD ITEM at 8:49p, yikes. Regarding the Tonkotsu Ramen, it was mediocre at best. The meat is basically sliced from a slab and placed onto a bed of barely cooked sun noodles. The broth is prepared by an employee mixing a soup paste and hot broth (if you've ever made instant ramen at home with broth paste instead of powder, it's this). This all gets cooked when you pour the hot broth over it yourself. I received the noodles in a paper bowl which caused them to dry out and cling onto the bottom making it impossible for me to eat them without scraping the bottom with my chopsticks and hoping I don't eat paper. Despite ordering dine in, I still had to prepare the dish myself on take out dishes. When I poured the broth into the paper bowl, it felt like the heat from the soup caused the paper to disintegrate faster, thus causing the soup to leak out (you can see the broth in my tray). The way it was presented to me was simply the noodles, the meat, and the broth; which makes me question why it took so long to prep 3 items. The menu pictures indicated that there would be other toppings as well but I didn't receive any. Service seemed extremely rushed with the employees seeming to slap the dishes together. With how much this casino caters to the Asian demographic, this poor of an execution of a seemingly commonplace dish honestly feels like appropriation. I get it, it's an $18 bowl of ramen which on the strip is cheap. But when I feel lazy and say there is food at home, this is the type of lazy food I make, so I honestly am pretty disappointed and feel scammed. I decided to go here instead of getting my car out of valet to drive to Chinatown. Honestly wish I'd driven.Pro Tip: If you are going to order take out, put the ramen ingredients into the plastic broth container so you don't end up with broth everywhere when it seeps through the paper bowl.

Not bad for strip food. I got a tonkatsu ramen and the broth was okay but the pork chashu was well cooked! It was filling enough for my husband and I to share. Excited to try the other options on the menu.

Recently stayed at Aria and was excited to try out the Proper Eats Food Hall. I was intrigued by the store name and was excited to see a ramen shop because I love trying out tonkotsu everywhere I go. Because I was staying at the hotel, I ordered via the in-room tablet (which was really just a QR code to mobile order) and I charged it to my room. They gave me an estimated time of completion but was surprised that they finished it in half the time. While I certainly enjoy getting my meals early, I feel that if it wasn't sitting out for so long the temperature would have been perfect. In terms of flavor, the tonkotsu richness is there but not as creamy and thick as I would have liked. The noodles were also thick but cooked appropriately. I personally didn't like that they were stuck together as they typically are blanched together to keep their shape whenever they're being portioned out for orders. One thing I will say is that they did not skimp on the pork slices. It was certainly the most I have ever gotten in EVERY ramen shop I've been to in my lifetime so I very much appreciated that. Bamboo shoots were great. Everything was great. Overall they get a solid 4/5. I think if you're looking for moderately priced food this is a great option and I look forward to trying the rest of their menu out in the future. (20/50--2024)
