Such a nice treat to be able to get ice cream at the casino. $4.75 for one scoop and $5.75 for 2 scoops. Glad to see they added back the no sugar added vanilla since my mom is a diabetic. For myself i got chocolate and cookies and cream, so good!Felt sorry for the girl working by herself, seems like they need to have two employees.They also have sandwiches or spam musubi and the caramel popcorn if you need last minute food for your plane ride home or a quick snack Recommend going at least a half hour before the posted closing time.

Finally got the chance to drop into Lappert's Ice Cream shop located in the California Hotel/Casino. Ever since they closed their store in San Diego, I've been missing my favorite flavor of ice cream, Kauai Pie. If you enjoy the rich taste of Kona Coffee, you'll love this. With a nice blend of Kona Coffee Cold Brew, coconut flakes, swirls of dark chocolate fudge and macadamia nuts, It's a tasty way to cool off. You just can't beat the flavor. I bought a scoop in a cup for myself and shared it and before I knew it, it was gone. Next time I'll buy two scoops...LOL So...if your in the California Hotel, take the escalator up to the second floor and stop by Lappert's Ice Cream. You'll be glad you did!!

My visit to Vegas is not complete without getting my favorite ice cream ever... Kuai Pie by Lappert's. I originally discovered this ice cream when I was in Maui. I got addicted. So anywhere it's available and I'm in that place, I make sure I get my favorite ice cream!!!!

Lappert's is located inside the California Casino Resort Downtown. Lots of ice cream flavors to choose from. There was one person working and 5 of us walked in, she was quick to take care of us. The ice cream is yummy! Besides ice cream, coffee, and other drinks they have food. They have everything from sandwiches to poke and spam musubi. Nice to have all these options in a casino.

Excellent icecream! Creamy, sweet, unique Hawaii flavors, cheap and great service! The coffee icecream here is very lovely! Rich and strong coffee flavor how I like it!If you go to the Cal, you have to get icecream. I came here twice during our stay because it's so good and you're on vacay so why not? Great employees and they were making waffle cones when we walked in and smelled so good!

Missing Hawaii and Las Vegas is like second home to me since me and my boyfriend travel there a lot. This ice cream spot is from Kona and features a wide array of tropical pacific flavors ! They also have fresh fresh Hawaii style poke that's not like what you get in the Midwest haha a little pricey but worth it!

Lappert's was a favorite of ours when we lived inHawai'i. So glad they have a location here in Vegas. Homemade ice creams are rich and creamy tasting. Portions are generous and prices are very affordable. Employees are always nice & helpful. Hope you decide to check them out :)

There don't seem to be a lot of great dessert spots in downtown Vegas, so I went with the nostalgic pick of Lappert's since we had it a lot growing up in Honolulu. Had two scoops in a cup-chocolate macadamia and vanilla bean--the scoops were huge, easily more than a pint in one serving. The ice cream itself was as I remembered; it's not the best ice cream I've ever had but it is tasty and creamy...what more could you ask of ice cream, right?Far better spend of $6 than at the tables.

This place is inside the California hotel and the prices are very reasonable. You get one scoop for 4.75 and 2 for 5.75, and they are big giant scoops.The ladies working there are very nice and sweet. They have a pretty nice menu selection and can make a nice bananasplit.
