I've always enjoyed this pool! It's on the far more quieter side at Palms Place which is just my style. If you'd like to be around hundreds of people, drunks, douche bags who think you don't see them taking pics of you, and screaming children occasionally then this place isn't for you. Stick to the pool on the other side at The Palms. My friends were in town recently and I always recommend staying at Palms Place and renting a cabana here for those not interested in the party scene. It's a very laidback pool with everything you'd need from cocktails & food as well. Cabanas do offer a dedicated server so that's always a plus. This pool is open to hotel guests only but does allow entrance for those with cabana reservations. Not sure if kids are allowed but I don't recall seeing any. Maybe I just got lucky?

The Palms Casino in Vegas is separated into three separate towers: The Fantasy Tower, The Ivory Tower (which are right next to each other) and Palms Place, which is connected by a tunnel. This pool is for the Palms Place, thus its name. It's much smaller than the Palms Pool for the two towers. It's much more relaxing, a bit quieter as it doesn't have club music blasting throughout the day. The pool is accessed at the 6th floor, next to their spa. Towels are available for your deck chairs. The pool isn't deep, I believe about 5 ft at its deepest end. There's an area where it's very shallow, and this is where they place patio furniture for the party weekends or special events. On weekdays, it's safe for the kids. The pool itself is shaped like an "L", so depending on the time of day you want to lay & bake, the shadow cast by the Palms Place Tower will force you to move ... you'll see what I mean. There's a bar and a cocktail waitress, or you can try not to be lazy and walk up to the bar yourself. Lunch can also be ordered from the adjoining restaurant, Cafe 6. Although I never ordered from them, it does look like they make a huge juicy burger. If you're looking for the Vegas like, action packed, tatooed jocks and hot girls in tiny bikinis kind of pool, this is not it. But if you prefer a more mellow pool, family friendly smaller pool ... check this out. * yes, use sunblock! You know how the Vegas sun gets.* self serve water near the bar so you don't faint.* return used towels to the hamper, next to where you picked up clean ones. * weekends are not as relaxing. music is louder, more people and a bit more party atmosphere.

I was truly disappointed coming to the pool at Palms Place. It wasn't too busy, so it was nice to have some old lady fun with my girlfriend. Our day consisted of reading change management and leadership books poolside. Seriously.... old lady fun. My girlfriend and I feel asleep by the pool and we were woken up by security. I was quite surprised because the couple next to us fell asleep the whole time we were reading and no one woke them up. There were people in cabanas and no one woke them up. There was a girl that literally threw up as she was walking to the bathroom and that wasn't cleaned up properly. We didn't complain. I checked the rules for the pool and it doesn't say anything about sleeping. I spoke to the manager and they don't plan on explicitly changing the rules. So how is anyone supposed to know. Maybe it was because my friend and are I are ethnic and no one else that sleeping was. The manager was also on-ethnic, so maybe that's why he didn't seem to care. I also showed him the lack of cleaning with the vomit around the pool. Again... didn't care. I hate pulling the race card, but I literally saw people sleeping for hours. I explained I was reading a Leadership book... who doesn't get sleepy. Don't plan on going to this pool if you're not white or plan on following all the rules, even the ones that aren't listed. You should just know. I asked if they would update the rules that are explicitly listed, but they won't. All they are concerned with is getting you money. Even if it's from a safety perspective, if I were drunk and passed out, security should be asking if I'm ok, not just making sure I'm awake. They should be smart enough to asses the situation. Is there water? What is this individual doing? After speaking to the manager, Sam, this didn't make sense. He let me know that this is done to make sure people aren't drinking too much, however waking someone else don't ensure they are safe. No one asked if I was ok. Do I need water? I was told no sleeping is allowed with no explanation. Truly disappointing. Thanks for taking my money and not caring about me as a human being. Please reassess your rules and the intent. Hire people that know how to communicate. Additionally, I guess I can only go back if I bleach my skin, so I'll never see you again.

I'm gonna let these photos speak for themselves. Disgusting!!! Absolutely disgusting. My last review was deleted. But I must warn people!!!! Stay away!!! Bring a black light, cause it's will be a whole crime scene in your room. I literally ordered 5 blankets and covered every piece of furniture so I could sit with my baby!!! Grosssssss

I went here on 3/22/14 to wait for the Yelp pilates event. I was an hour early because I had just finished my workout at my gym and didn't have time to drive back home before I went to the event. I decided, hey, why not check out the pool. The towel guy & life guards seemed nice enough and the pool looked clean, but the chairs were a bit ratty. Not the end of the world. I picked a lounger in the middle of a row of about 8 other empty lounges and laid back to get in some sun before pilates. Not five minutes after I lay down, two middle-aged bros come up to me asking if the lounges directly to my left are taken. "No, they're not, and I'd wish they'd continue to be not taken" is what was racing through my mind, but all I could say was "nope, they're free." They plop their stuff down and start talking about their "married guy away from the wife lame-o drunk" escapades loudly, as if I'd be impressed. Finally, after a good long while of this, one of the bros decides to go swimming. Surrounding the pool is a sea of other middle-aged bros and mid-30's bros all in their packs on their male vacations. It's so depressing because they really feel like they're in some low-budget version of The Hangover. Facing the pool is a restaurant that overlooks the pool. I'm guessing the point is to see a bunch of high-priced escorts that are looking to be sugar babies, lay out by the pool. I guess the old men with their other escorts were sorely disappointed with the view when I was there because there were less than 5 women, and two of the women were with toddlers. Not unlike Yelp, Palms Place pool is THE place in Vegas for middle-aged guys to hit on women under 30 who aren't remotely interested. Return at your own risk ladies.

The pool is smaller than the pictures show, but it's still pretty nice. It closes at 7pm, but I wish it stayed open longer!

If I could give this stay a negative number ...I would.Check in at this hotel was miserable. I booked a room that was supposed to have a pool view....Nope.I told them and they move me up higher but not over poolside in the Fantasy tower. Next I was told they would fix it and the front desk lady forgot...and someone else was assigned the room.I was also supposed to have pool access being a hotel guest....Again NOPE...To go to the poolside bar I was charged $35 .....Even though I was a guest......You never pay for that it's a hotel benefit...I can't in good conscience recommend this place.I'm so tempted to cancel and move to another hotel for a more " On Brand Experience ".....
