The food was average and cold. I'm not a sauce person and it felt like to have the best experience the sauce was necessary. The shrimp kabobs were good but lacked flavor. This meal was delivered to the office and the co-workers are smitten. The food arrived quickly

As an east coaster, I'm learning how dearly loved L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is on the West. I've dined / taken out from here a handful of times now and I can easily say that you can't go wrong ordering from here. The food here is inexpensive and comes plentiful. It also comes quick if you're in a pinch. Recently, I came here after a busy work day. I knew if I didn't plan ahead before going home, I would be hangry. So, I ordered L&L and picked it up after my shift. When I picked it up, I was asked for my order and handed my food. I was super excited to dig into it once I got home. I ordered the loco moco as it was super easy and a no brainer. I've never been to Hawaii and I didn't know a lot of Hawaiian restaurants back on the east, so I like to try the more 'native' dishes. The loco moco was pretty good, it was heaven since I was super hungry. Though in actuality, I wish there was more gravy on it and the rice was less of a mush. I'm not sure if the rice had to do with it sitting in the to go box for a bit - I did pick it up on time according to yelp's pick up feature, but I'm not sure of the actual timing of preparation, pick up etc. Nevertheless, I do love me a good L&L every once in a while. Can't wait to explore the rest of the menu!

I ordered the garlic shrimp healthier plate. When I opened the box after I got home it was literally like they threw a bunch of left over crap in the box. Was not at all what I thought I was getting. All the shrimp had deep fried tempura breading on it, mainly all breading too. Instead of one scoop brown rice they gave me two heaping scoops of white rice. And the side salad was hot, wilted and brown... absolutely terrible. My order should have been garlic shrimp with the shells on , brown rice and a side of salad... I wasted my money. I was upset over my food.

I've been at this location numerous times and order from Door Dash quite a bit as well. So far there's only been literally two times where I've questioned my order and I guess I ordered the "healthier" BBQ chicken and didn't notice. While there, I don't have to wait long and I don't mind the easy going vibe. Same with delivery. As long as they're there, I'll keep ordering from them.
