If you're looking for a taste of local food from Hawaii, I highly recommend this place! I had the Waimea Bomber, and wow--the flavors were bursting with savoriness and freshness. The portion was huge, and everything was perfectly cooked. The only downside was the wait time, but honestly, it wasn't a big deal because the food tasted freshly made. The atmosphere was clean and well-decorated, giving off an upscale North Shore Hawaii vibe. It felt refined but still welcoming.Service was friendly, though they're still finding their rhythm in creating that "feel-at-home" experience. But overall, an amazing spot with delicious food--I'll definitely be back!

Absolutely love Kono's! I grew up eating at Kono's in Haleiwa, Hawai'i. It was the perfect place to get some amazing hearty breakfast before heading to the beaches in North Shore. My absolute favorite is their Haleiwa Bomber, filled with kalua, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. Their salsa is very flavorful as well!I don't come as often as I'd like, since the only location is on the opposite side of the valley for me, but when I am able to make the trip it's definitely worth it. Their island coffee is delicious as well!

It's been years since I've been to Konos! Last time was at their Kapahulu location, but this spot definitely didn't disappoint. The location is a little tucked away, which might explain why the crowds weren't as heavy during lunchtime. When we went, there was only one other couple there. We tried the pork plate and the old school sandwich (no slaw), and both were fantastic. I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so I'm a little obsessed with their papaya seed dressing (they should bottle and sell it if they don't already). I'd recommend adding some of their mango pineapple hot sauce to your meat. I plan to buy a bottle for myself next time I visit. If you like bbq on the sweet side, which I do, I'd also sprinkle on some guava bbq sauce. The only thing we didn't care too much for were the pineapple lemonade and guava limeade because it was a bit too watered down for our taste. The meat was super tender, with no fatty bits, and the portions were generous!I'm a little bummed we didn't get a milkshake this time, but it's at the top of my list for our next visit starting with the vanilla mac or mudslide. The service was excellent, and the place was clean.

Stopped by today to try some Kono's Northshore since I've been missing Hawaii lately. We had the Kalua pig nachos (oh my gosh, it's amazing!!) and their house sauce! We also had viva vegas waffles and pork (sooo good!!) The lemonades were great. We tried pineapple mint and strawberry guava. Staff were helpful. Place was clean. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of parking. Love that they cater, as well. Definitely check it out!

One of my favorite's at Kono's Northshore, Kalua Pork!! Kono's Northshore is located off of Summerlin Parkway Exit/Buffalo area. It's in a shopping plaza with spacious amount of parking!I ended up picking up a Kalua Pork combo with rice as a to go order. The service was pretty quick, about 15 minutes for the order to be prepared. The team members were super helpful! I let the team member at the register know that my order was to go! They provided utensils for me!Even though my residence was about 10 minutes away, the food was still fresh and hot! The Kalua Pork was so flavorful! There was a lot of Kalua Pork and rice too! The pineapple was a nice addition! The side salad and sauce was yummy! The food here is great!! Too bad I don't live closer, otherwise, I would go more often!

We've wanted to try Kono's Northshore for a hot minute and finally found time when our out-of-town friends wanted to try "something different!" We met at the restaurant on a fairly chill Monday afternoon. Located right off Summerlin Parkway and Buffalo, this shopping center is traffic heavy, but there's decent parking. We were greeted upon walking in and grabbed a menu. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. There's a ton of seating! Drink options are "ok," but I opted for water and husband got a pineapple guava lemonade which he enjoyed. No refills tho, so really "enjoy" it! We ordered the breakfast sliders and settled in to play catch-up. Our friends ordered the pork plate and the nachos (I wanted the nachos! ) The food was served very quickly and it was delicious! These biscuits are the best we've had in Vegas - HANDS DOWN! The sliders come in bacon, pork, and Portuguese sausage all of which are perfectly paired and absolutely yum! My only meh was that we were just sitting and chatting and catching up, and we were there for about an hour and a half. This seemed to annoy the employees for some reason. We weren't bothering them, we bussed our own table, we didn't ask for anything extra and the restaurant had 4 total groups in the time we were there - why be annoyed? I really enjoyed the food, but this weird vibe wasn't "aloha" and I don't know if we'll be back or just to-go in the future. Like I said, I really want the nachos!

Had a nice, chill breakfast at Kono's.The kalua pork and the shakes are the play here. Nachos with kalua pork was really good. The Portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice was supah ono.Kid had the chicken quesadilla which was not bad.Service is super friendly but on "Hawaiian time" ;).The space was nice for catching up with old friends and kid friendly. The music def set the 9th island vibe.A gem in Summerlin. Convenient after a run to the Lowe's and Trader Joe's.

The food was absolutely delicious! Mouth watering to be exact! The kalua pork sliders literally melted in my mouth! The 12 hour slow roasted pulled pork was bursting with flavor, the gauva bbq sauce, and slaw was the perfect touch. In addition to the sweet rolls being warm and soft. The freshly squeezed guava lemonade was a little too tart for my liking. However, nothing a few sugar packets couldn't fix. The service was excellent ,super sweet cashier and staff. The ambiance makes you feel like you're in Hawaii.

Came by Kono's (right before doing some food shopping @ Winco) for a quick bite to eat. We were greeted right away by everyone and our server right away helped with suggestions for the menu by asking if we had been there before and if we were in the mood for breakfast or lunch, she was great. My husband ordered the breakfast bomber and I went for the plate lunch. My kalua pulled pork was so good, tender and flavorful and that house made guava bbq sauce was good too, but I also used some of the mango pineapple hot sauce that was on the table, that was the one!!!! I even finished my side salad with the papaya dressing , everything was just so good. My husband said his bomber was a good hearty breakfast burrito, he even liked the potatoes that were in it and he doesn't really eat potatoes, lol. He said he wants to try the others as well, that how I know he likes the restaurant, when he wants to go back!! Everyone was really friendly and the restaurant itself has a warm feeling about it, you can even rent a space out for events/parties, which seems like a cool idea, and they have catering, which I am interested in cause their food is really good! We will for sure be back!

Today, we stopped by for a quick brunch. We were greeted promptly when entering and we were told about the food. The ambiance is a relaxing and comfortable beach vibe. After a short time, our food came out. I got the breakfast bomber with bacon and added pulled pork. It was delicious and very filling. The pork was very tender and tasty. The salsa and bbq sauce were very good. Chips included in my combo were awesome. There was a great friendly disposition and attentive service by everyone here. After eating, we had a great chat with the owner. We will definitely come back and hope to get to their other restaurants in Hawaii.
