My daughter and I were at the YMCA outside pool over Memorial Day weekend. Kona Ice Food Truck was at the YMCA Centennial location. Kona Ice specializes in shaved ice with a variety of flavors! Some flavor options are self served while other options are made by the Kona Ice team.My daughter got the grape flavor, and I ended up selecting the wedding cake! Both flavors were delicious. We opted for the $5.00 dollar option. There was plenty of shaved ice and lots of flavored syrup! It was delicious on a warm day next to the pool!

Mango & Pina Colada was good- really good. $5.00 for a good size cup. It was warm so it melted pretty quickly. It was still very good though.This truck came twice to my son's school within a week. 20% goes back to the school. Pretty neat. Fundraiser opportunity.Our son's a big fan of Kona Ice. His favorite: Tigers blood: coconut & strawberry. Tropical rush: is another flavor that he tried. Our son said it's a big hit with all the kids.
