JoJo's Jerky

Haven't been here in quite some time and before COVID they would allow samples which really helps me quickly decide if I want to buy or not.Most of their selection are without the harmful chemicals of MSG, PAHs, and sodium nitrite which are found in other brands. Although various meat jerky aren't the healthiest with the excessive sodium and sugar it tastes great every now and then.My photos are missing so unable to attach them to my review.When in Vegas will for sure return and buy a few more bags.

I like this place because it's great for gifts. JoJo's is in the Container Park. The store is small but they have a large variety. It's a bit pricey but it's good quality. They have several vegan flavors too. I think jerky makes good presents because it lasts awhile. It doesn't spoil that fast. The jerky comes in convenient packaging that doesn't take up a whole lot of room. It comes in many flavors. They have mild, medium, and spicy. It has jerky mostly made from beef. They also have a vegan version. It gets made from a cactus. This has a texture similar to the real thing. It's not cheap which is one bad thing about it. It's about $8 for a package. They have different heat levels for this. I like the Sweet Heat. This isn't excessively hot just in my opinion. It's a locally owned business. It has a few more items than only jerky. There's also nuts and rubs.

Stopped in randomly while checking out the other shops in the Container Park area & really glad we did! The owner was hilarious, informative & very engaging. After trying several jerky and hot sauce options, I purchased several as gift items. If you're in the area, peek in at least to try some free samples.

I always have to stop into this Awesomely Alluring Snack Shop!Always promoting the Freshest, Flavorbursting, Multi~Flavored Goodness in Jerky, BBQ Rub, Pickles, Nuts and Snackriffic Takeaways...One of those places that you say Heck Yahhh they are Open...I always come away with the five for $35 deal because i love me some Jerky and always enjoy the Vivid packaging and the Quality of Beef in them...Soo get to the Container Complex and Look Around, Sit in the Sun, Eat Drink and Get Merry, then start tasting Jerky Samples to find your Cured Meat Bliss...

I was already a fan of JoJo's Jerky before walking into this store for the first time. About a year ago, the BF went to the location on the strip and brought back the vegan cactus jerky. So I couldn't resist walking into the store at Downtown Container Park while hanging out in the Freemont area.I'm not gonna lie, what first drew me in was this innuendo-y sign: http://bit.ly/2mFvZ8pThis store is super small but I was excited to see cactus jerky flavors that I haven't had yet. The super friendly and helpful employee was nice enough to offer samples so I could make a confident decision. I love a good immature pun ;PI've had all five flavors of the cactus jerky. My favorite is Cactus Joe's Pepper Jerky. I mean, they got jerky in their name so jerky is definitely their game. They have a huge collection of jerky! They even have spiced peanuts and different dry rubs that you can buy. My favorite is their "Triple Threat" and "Hell on Earth". Both are pretty spicy but not their spiciest! They actually have a super duper spicy jerk that I have yet to try. Although, I'm not sure if I want to because it contains carolina reapers. They also have deals for when you want to buy three packs. So if you're in the area, definitely check them out! They have samples too if you're not sure what flavor you like :)

Usually I love this place, visit every time I am in Vegas. I made an online order and what I received was 2 broken bottles of the sweet Thai chili sauce and some jerky that wasn't properly packaged. The jerky looked like charcoal and was extremely brittle and inedible. Contacted the owner who promised me a replacement order and it was never received. Been close to a month and still nothing despite emails to him with no response. Hate to say but I will no long support a company who doesn't take care of their long time customers and make damaged or incorrect orders, correct.

Great jerky and I love that they are a local company. We stumbled upon this store while exploring Container Park one weekend.The woman working was very generous in offering many samples of the jerky so that we could taste several options. In addition to jerky she was also offering flavored peanuts. Even my meat loving husband couldn't resist purchasing the cactus jerky. How unique is that? Tasty too. I really liked the spicy flavors and bought some as a gift for a friend that loves hot foods. The pricing was comparable to jerky stores I've shopped at in other areas.

Awesome! I will say that I am a big fan of jerky and JoJo's hits the nail on the head when it comes to their jerky! Not only that but they have so many amazing other products that they offer that are so dang tasty you'll have a hard time not walking out with one of everything! The various nuts they offer were all really tasty. I love how they offer a variety of jerky styles and then each style comes in each flavor. They really cover all their bases with options here.The girl that was working the counter was so easy going, friendly and informative. She took us through all the flavors, products, taste testing lots of stuff before deciding what we wanted. The one thing we did not get which I regret not getting is one of their hot sauces. I am a huge hot sauce guy but having only flown w/ a carry-on, smuggling some hot sauce home unfortunately wasn't an option this trip.Another little bonus feature of the store is the really cool tank that was created by that one fish tank show Tanked. We've seen a few episodes of that show and it's truly amazing what they come up with.I am glad they have a store in the Container Park b/c it's a perfect fit, imo.

This is a great place to get your jerky on! They everything from beef to bacon to turkey to VEGAN jerky. I mean, if vegan is your thing, this is apparently the place to come for jerky!Located in the Container park shopping center, they are, of course, limited in size to what can fit inside. This small store is packed with flavor. We were assisted by a knowledgeable and friendly staff member who not only answered our questions, but was able to make some amazing suggestions based on our inquiries. Better yet - they had free samples! We had a hard time settling on just a few choices to enjoy but that's OK. We'll be back next time we're in Vegas.Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of Jerky in any form... Our favorite was the BBQ Bacon jerky... but we still have a couple flavors that I'm pretty excited about - including the Jamaican Jerk flavor! Our favorite may change!
