The food was amazing. Service was superb. The place was quiet, intimate and luxurious. Everything you can expect in a fine dining restaurant which was great. We had an incredible time. One of the best French restaurants.

Service was excellent. Food not that great for $525 per person price tag. Expected morning but the best. Had to spit out the steak twice for wife and I. No contact with been chef after realizing the food wasn't great. The server had no control over it. Wonderful guy. Not recommended. Ambiance was ok.

Jöel Robuchon is located inside MGM grand that's next to the KA cirque du soleil show and the other Jöel robuchon restaurant, l'atelier. We had a reservation for 2 for their New Year's Eve tasting menu that had 12 amazing dish offerings.Upon entry, the service immediately is what we noticed that defines 3 Michelin star dining. Very attentive and on point on everything. They'll take your coat, change utensils for every meal change, pour your drinks for you, push in your chair, lay the cotton napkin on your lap for you, etc. The inside was very nice as well. Low music is being played with a very fancy decor. Even the bathrooms were amazing. As for the food; we started off with savory dishes that contained a lot of caviar, seafood, truffles, etc. every dish had an eccentric taste with either a rich buttery feel to it or a fresh taste to it. Around the 9th to 10th dish, we moved to the sweets starting with a meringue that acted as a palette cleanser. Very interesting! All in all, Jöel robuchon was an awesome experience. I'm glad I was able to make reservations for my girlfriend and I to experience. Although it's a bit pricy (about $900 per person), it's definitely something worth trying once.

What can I say? The highest level of dining in Vegas to date. Service staff are wonderful. Food is wonderful. Setting is wonderful. MGM is a rowdy place but once you enter the entire setting changes into a delightful experience.

I visited Joel Robuchon on a Saturday evening with a group of friends and the dinner took a few hours. There weren't many tables inside the restaurant, but they were far enough where you could feel privacy between each group. They were about eight dishes for the meal which was about $450 per person. There was a wine pairing option which a few of my friends partaked. There's a full bar so if wine is not your thing, you can have a nice cocktail made for you. When you come here, it's definitely an experience. Our server and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant felt calming and not too loud.My favorite dishes included the caviar imperial. It had such a nice balance, and I love the touch of crustacean. The black cod was beautifully cooked - although my friends didn't like that it was too salty for them. I personally enjoyed the truffled langoustine ravioli. Honestly, anything truffle I would be all over. My friend didn't finish hers, so of course I offered to take it off her hands so it wouldn't go to waste. It was a fun experience, tasting a variety of dishes and hearing the story behind what inspired Joel Robuchon's dishes. We finished with the dessert cart which was gorgeous. Thank goodness for unlimited so got to try a little bit of everything. I really liked the pistachio flavored macaron, raspberry cake, and truffles. My friends said they were all extremely full at the end. Of course I eat way too much so I said I could eat more so it was fitting we were given gift bags which contained banana bread. They recommend refrigerating it immediately, but if you're staying for the weekend, it should last OK for you to enjoy when you're back home .Overall, a really cool experience just being able to share that with friends. The dishes were a bit salty and would have expected it to be more mind blowing for the price. The service and attention to detail really makes it a valuable dining visit.

This was the most incredible dining experience I've ever had, definitely worth every penny. They made us feel like royalty from the minute we walked in. The ambiance was absolutely perfect. Very romantic and quiet with a nice piano music playing softly. Beautifully decorated restaurant with perfect soft lighting and candles and fresh roses on the table. We were greeted by multiple people and all very attentive and professional. The service was world class, the most professional I have experienced. Every single course we had was better than the previous. All meticulously prepared, beautifully presented and an exquisite concoction of textures and flavors. They started by presenting fresh shaved butter from a case that looked like the Beauty and the Beast rose case. Then presented a cart full of different fresh baked breads that we could choose anything we wanted. Followed by multiple courses of appetizers and main courses, each plate better than the prior. Our favorite was Le Boeuf- the chateaubriand with foie gras and truffle, probably the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. After all of that, came our desserts- the soufflé was the shining star here. All beautifully prepared. The soufflé had the perfect texture and taste. We also were given a special cake for our anniversary. And then to top it off, came a dessert French pastry cart to choose whatever we desired from. They prepared a box of items for us and sent us home with a loaf of fresh baked banana walnut bread. The extensive wine list (the size of a large phonebook) is also worth mentioning and the sommelier was super helpful. This place was definitely worth the experience and we will be back !

Attentive staff, severe food poisoning, poorly designed and executed new dishes. ******* Food Poison ******** We had the NYE tasting menu, starting at 8pm. It's 11:14pm right now, and I had to run to the restroom twice in the restaurant and once in MGM already. I also feel like I'm about to throw up after eating one of the dessert dishes.***** Disappointing New Dishes ***** The first dish was iconic and tasted great. Although the crab meat could have been processed with more care so that the crab meat are intact + plated better for better texture. The rest are nothing to write home about. In fact, for a $2,000 dollar meal, unforgivable. Here are a few case in point: (1) The sea bass's meat was dry. And the cherry sauce didn't complement the meat at all. (2) The dessert dishes taste bad and are the prime suspects for food poisoning: - The pre-dessert was half-melted lemon sorbet + cream/half-melted foam on top. The presentation was sloppy and looked like a pup cup;- The zen-garden is a dessert dish that makes you feel upset. The fig was not fresh/sweet, and are totally unrelated to the white chocolate heart or the raspberry sorbet. The brown "mud" at the bottom tasted like dirt. (3) Ginger & Oats galore Chef must have newly discovered ginger and oats, as they were used liberally and in heavy dosages throughout the entire NYE course. ****Comparable Restaurants Analysis *** Overall, the most disappointing Michelin experience. Chez TJ in Mountain View, or even Zola in Palo Alto beat this by a wide margin. Even Kaiseiki Sanga off-strip the next day at $250 per person beat this dinner by a wide margin on the freshness of the material + execution of the meat / harmony of the taste. Not to mention, no food poisoning. We loved L'Atelier from our last stay in Vegas. Dining at the namesake Joel Robuchon was a checklist item. We were disappointed to say the least.

I had a wonderful experience. Kit was a total sweetheart, who served us bread and desserts. He recommended specific options he loved himself and we were so grateful. During dessert he asked us our favorite types of flavor profiles and made us a custom plate- after trying one of the little coconut desserts, we loved it so much and had to tell him! Once we told him, he even packed another one to take back home. It was so nice of him.Our sommelier was Thomas. He had a great personality, gave us a ton of history and explanation on the wines that we were served. The selection he made was really incredible, loved every one! Mind you, we ordered two different pairing to compare against the chef tasting menu. Worth it! It was an adventure! The chef's tasting menu was also on point. All of our dishes we had a deep appreciation for. The only thing I would note is that towards the end of the dinner we had so much food we almost couldn't finish it all. They do have a dress code, but we noticed a lot of guests did come more casually dressed...and that seemed to be fine. I don't think they turn you away if you do not have the proper attire. Overall, a really special experience. We dressed up, ate great food and loved our interactions with the staff. I feel absolutely grateful to have had the opportunity to try the chef's tasting menu.

Dear Sirs,I am hereby attaching some pictures of François Pierre de la Verenne's 'Le Cuisinier François'.Although its condition is as one could expect after more than three and a half centuries, its real value lies in its historical importance, for this is the book that completely revolutionized French cuisine. I have searched the French National Library and many other places, and I can say with some certainty that there is no other copy of this 1652 edition.Belonging to the 19th century, the box that contains the book is more modern, and it can be assumed that it was commissioned precisely to keep it safe, as one would with such a treasure. This is not a copy to browse or touch frequently, which is why I have myself obtained a more modern edition based on another one from 1926, which in turn derived from a 1654 one. This is a historical piece, to be shown and with a story to be told.François Pierre de la Verenne was to French cuisine what Isaac Newton was to Physics. Should you be interested in learning more about this copy of 'Le Cuisiner François', please do contact me. Also, I would have no objection to leaving the item with you so that you can examine it and decide whether it would be in your interest to acquire it.With best regards, Mario Krmpotic.
