Jackson's Bar & Grill

I'm down here in Vegas for a quick business trip and one of the guys I know is a local here and told me about this place I gotta go to for a big 1 pound ribeye for just $20 bucks! That's a killer deal and that's the kinda deals you find in Vegas that I don't get at all in Northern Cali! I saw on the menu they have a Cheeseburger 1/2 pounder for $17 busks ... damn, just $3.00 more and you get a whole pound of ribeye? That's a real no brainer! Plus it's near my hotel!The inside look like a typical sports bar, but they have gambling here too as well as a full bar that never closes! No last call in NV! Alcohol 24 hrs!My friend and I came here for that $20 ribeye! You get veggies and potato with it. We went for the baked potato. The steaks cam out and plop wow that's a big freakin steak! It had nice grill marks on it and they were cook as ordered, med rare! The ribeye was tender, especially I like the edge cap meat with all the fat running through it. No, I didn't finish all my steak, I brought back to the hotel about 1/3 of it and part of the baked potato. Might make a good midnight snack! This was one heck of a deal for what you get here at Jackson's Bar and Grill! I'll come back for sure!

The value of the steak filets was very good but the quality was just average Service was friendly and swiftAmbiance...ehWould recommend if price and convenience is priority

The $20 1 pound ribeye is still a great deal and the quality is pretty good for the price. Comes with veggies and choice of one side.They now have added a $20 filet but I tried it and I think the ribeye is a better steak and quality. I thinks it's a mock filet, was a bit tough. So I'd stick with the ribeye.The only downside eating here is that if your a non smoker they do have a non smoking section but the smoke still filtered into the non smoking section and we came out smelling like smoke. So if you're sensitive to cigarette smoke it would not be a good place to eat. That's the only drawdown but $20 1 pound ribeye is unheard of anywhere.

The 16 oz ribeye steak itself was a 5/5 for me. It was charred just right, cooked medium rare, and seasoned well. The steak at times was a bit chewy, but, for $20, I was ok with that. Their mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus were delicious too - and I normally don't even like asparagus! With that being said, however, the distance to get here (it's at least a 10 minute drive from the Strip, depending on which hotel you're coming from), the area it's in (pretty sketchy, as you have to ring a doorbell to be buzzed in to open the door), and the suffocating cigarette smoke permeating the walls inside did downgrade this spot's rating by one star. Customer service by Kat was great - despite her being understaffed and working the whole restaurant for the night, she was still trying to be helpful. Thank you, Kat. Overall, if they fixed the ventilation here and had a non-smoking dining area, I would definitely come back again for their stellar $20 steak deal.

I come to Vegas often. After discovering this place, I have come here twice - once in September and once in October. I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality and size (16oz.) of the steak for the price you are paying.Starting at $20, this is a great buy and it is yummy. They do actually know how to cook my steak when asked for medium. Both times I can only eat about half but I have manage to finish almost all the sides. Both times I have upgraded my steak, which cost extra starting at $4. First time, I got the mushrooms and onions. The second time, I got onions and garlic butter. There are quite a few sides to choose from but the side veggies stay and you get to choose another side. Most of the time I will always go with mashed potatoes. They do have baked potato but I will get that another time for sure. :)The place is definitely a local spot. It is a bar with a back dining room. Don't be taken a back by the location and look inside because they do have good food. And plenty of parking. My bf got the lemon pepper wings and they were soo good too. They were big wings! They were crispy and so juicy. You might be wondering about the one star off? Well, it smells like cigarettes inside but the smell dissipates when you get to the back area. This doesn't deter me too much. As Arnold would say, I will be back! LOL :)

Getting buzzed in at the door was strange but totally worth it. The ribeye was excellent! Cooked to perfection. We had the baked potato with it. Delish! We will be back!

We had an amazing time tonight at Jackson's! Celebrated my Brother in law's 60th birthday and the staff was amazing! We had a large party and they had us setup in a very comfortable area. The food was awesome and the waitress we had was so attentive, dang I wish I had her name to list in the review! Thank you Paula for hosting our party. We will be back and recommend to family and friends!

Oh my god. I thought it was a joke when I googled "best steaks in Vegas" and Jackson's came up. But with an adventuring spirit we set out and ate SO WELL. For 4 people we got 2 steaks, 1 fried shrimp and 1 fish and chips. First off? The fries were so good I ate too many. Secondly, the fish was so crisp and delicious. AND THE STEAK? Holy smokes. Juicy, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Our server and chef were awesome and we had a great time.

Food was excellent and priced decently. Coconut creme pie was out of this world. Service was good waitress could have used some help working the room. Rest of the staff. Facility air quality very smokey, recommend use of a mask if you're sensitive.

Great food at a better price! Service was wonderful as well. Great lil hole in the wall spot!
