I clicked on Big Jerk and the link led me to this place. Same location same regional food, but different name. I figured maybe they changed the name as some places do. What a very sad disappointment. The place is empty at lunchtime - RUN AWAY! We were warmly greeted, placed our order and seated ourselves. Ordered the rib and chicken combo plate with macaroni n cheese for our first side and beans for our second side. (I came here for Big Jerks Mac n cheese) The Mac n cheese was clearly boxed and old. The face that it was cut as a square, the cheese sauce was broken from being reheated in a microwave, had cold cheddar on top, while the edges and middle were even colder told me it might not be fresh. At lunchtime. Next the jerk chicken. I took a bite of lukewarm chicken. That can kill a person! The ribs were warm enough to cast off a little steam so I dipped it in the side of cold jerk sauce they provided and it chilled it down even further. Good job, y'all. We stood up to leave and the nice lady was standing in the back looking down at her phone. Zero acknowledgment. Please don't waste your money here.

Yes yes and yes!We came in for a quick bite to eat and we were not short of satisfied. Food is cooked to order so there's a little wait. But is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. The staff are extremely nice. We got jerk chicken, cabbage and rice with fries and Mac n cheese. All mouth watering. All flavorful. We loved it so much we order food to go. We took more home to our kids. We ordered some jerk fried chicken as well. FIRE!!!! Just bomb. Loved it. Beautiful vibrant environment. Reggae music. And good vibes! This is one of those places, after you eat it, you can distinctly remember the flavors and crave it again. We will be back, for sure. We came here for lunch special $11 for the chicken dishes and we really enjoyed it. The cabbage, rice and peas, curry and brown stew chicken were all delicious. This place is definitely now part of weekly lunch routine for us.

I've traveled the world and had some really good Caribbean/Jamaican food before and thought I'd had the best. I stand corrected... this place is the BOMB! The restaurant has a vibrant colorful interior with reggae music playing. The beautiful Jamaican woman greets me and asks how my day was going, and not in a typical way, but, she really meant it. It made me smile. So, I order the Ox Tail with rice and peas and a Jerk Chicken Pasty. I sit and wait for the goodies. Letting the music wash over me and settle into the comfortable booth. The woman brings out my chicken pasty and I try it. Now, as I've said, I've had many before. They are usually dry. Not this one. The pastry is moist and flavorful and the filling simply explodes in your mouth. Full flavor, no dryness at all! It's the best damn chicken pasty I've ever had! I ask if they make them in house. They don't, but the lady tells me that her brother gets them, she has no idea where, and she agrees... these are really good! Then she brings me the Ox Tail. It smells as good as it looks and tastes even better. The meat falls off the bone and it's mixed with a rich full gravy and wax beans, the way it's supposed to be served. I really wish everyone could understand just how perfect this food was prepared today! So much flavor. And it all just melts in your mouth!Oh my God, I'm in heaven! You've got yourself a new fan for life! Thank you for such a wonderful meal. Food for the mind, food for the body and food for the soul. Simply outstanding!!!

We came in to try this place today (Monday) around 6pm after seeing it on IG. We were greeted by a lady who was very nice and the place seemed to have a cool vibe playing reggae music. There was 1 couple eating in the restaurant and we looked at the menu. We ended up ordering the jerk chicken which comes with rice & peas and cabbage for $15 or so. We asked to get fried plantain on the side but the hostess said something about they were out of plantains and mac n cheese due to the chef and owner not being there today?!? So confused. Anyway, we went home and opened it and it looked ok at first but when we started eating it, so many bones! We had maybe 2 pieces of chicken legs and a half of a thigh each. The chicken was burnt and oily and the rice and cabbage had zero taste whatsoever. We won't be back that's for sure. Save your money and go to Big Jerk if you want some jerk chicken.

This place is a gem. The cabbage was the best I ever had at any Caribbean restaurant I've eaten at. Had the jerk chicken and Ribs the portion size was AWESOME. Service was great. The owner let us order so close to closing. If you're in the mood for authentic and delicious food this place is perfect!

So happy that this is my first Jamaican food experience! It really sets the stndards high. Oxtails were fall-of-the-bone, ribs and chicken were all well-cooked and seasoned, baked beans were the bomb, etc.

Placed a phone order for 2 jerk chicken dinners all white meat. Received a very small portion of dark meat, some pieces being only bones. Cabbage was ok... plantains were dry. I visit Vegas every summer and unfortunately I will not be back to this establishment. I will say the last I interacted with was very pleasant.

Excellent food I love their soup and their red beans and rice however, when my Hubble went there last evening around 7 o'clock, the guy that was cooking seemed very irritated to have a customer did not want to make soup then told receptionist in the front he was never gonna get out of there tonight so he didn't even do the rice and peas for him. Nice little spot they're in, but they have a lot on customer service to learn.

I sooo wanted the food to be good at this restaurant. Boyeee was I disappointed!!! I actually "stumbled" on it this restaurant leaving another store nearby and decided to check them out. I am not from the area so I was going in completely green! Mind you, I have eaten lots of Jamaican food over the years so I KNOW good Jamaican food. Unfortunately, this was not the place for the "good" Jamaican food! I was hoping for. I ordered a $22.00 Brown Stew chicken dinner and got TWO chicken legs cut in half to make four pieces and a container full of unflavored rice and peas!!! I truly don't understand how y'all think the food here is good!?! I also ordered festival and got something that was no where near Jamaican festival!!!I won't be back that's for sure!!'I feel like I completely wasted my money!! It's a THUMBS down for me!!!
