Island Sushi & Grill

I love it here. Service is always fantastic, food tastes good, menu has variety, and they have all you can eat! It's really a great deal and I haven't been able to try an all you can eat Hawaiian spot before! Inside there are plenty of tables and very clean!I really enjoy this spot and we went here two times on our last trip to Vegas.

I love coming here when im in town! I'm born and raised in hawaii and still live there. I found this hidden gem about a month ago and my family loves it. We always do the lunch special and it never disappoints. The saimin is a must. Some other favorites are the hamburger steak, the ufo (portuguese sausage w rice), cucumber salad, agedashi tofu, and the mochi ice cream. I come for a week a time and have already been her three times since finding it a month ago. My family has come 6 times already. This place is amazing!!! We have our go-to server, MJ! She's the best and basically acts like family. 5 stars for the restaurant, 10 stars for MJ! Mahalo!!

they've added all you can eat sushi and they never should have. if you cant meet the demand, don't act like you have the supply.1. First of all, "online or to-go" sushi orders will Always take priority over your sushi order. so if one comes in, your order gets put on hold. Which kept happening to us. 2. didn't see any food for 40 mins after ordering. (a few nigiri and 2 regular rolls) - if you know anything about sushi, you know it doesn't take 40 mins for that. our orders kept getting pushed back because of "online" orders and we knew this because the sushi chef would say "got another online order so everything here is gonna be backed up". 3. they kicked us out for their "90 minute rule" even though it took literally 40 minutes for us to get any food at all and had to wait 15-20 mins after each order. my wife and i have never met the time limit rule anywhere because we eat pretty quickly. (and we go to a lot of AYCE) we met the time limit here because they took very long in bringing out orders.3. mind you, all of this took place while it wasn't even all that busy. multiple open tables but it also wasn't a slow day. it was a relatively normal occupancy. we got there and it was slow but picked up after an hour. 4. the service with the waiters/waitresses in person were good. everyone was nice. the ambiance was very good as well.they should not have the option for all you can eat sushi. they dont have the capacity to run a restaurant that way. service was diabolically slow and it was pretty ridiculous that we wanted to order one more roll before we left and were told that we "actually met the 90 min limit". the waitress herself even knew it was ridiculous that she was saying that cuz we only received 4-5 rolls total the whole 90 minutes we were there. unfortunate experience but honestly, im just trying to save someone else from wasting their time. if you're gonna eat here, just do take out lunch n stuff like that. the AYCE sushi experience is an absolute joke.

Stopped in here for lunch and had an amazing Poké bowl! It was my first time here and this place is a hidden gem. The food was so good and they have the service to match. The place was packed for lunch and our server Joe was so kind and welcoming. The restaurant is decorated with a very cool Hawaiian vibe. This is a great place to bring your friends or family. Also, they have an AYCE option! Their menu is very impressive with a lot of options. This place comes with my highest recommendation!

Aloha and Mahalo to all the amazing ppl at this amazing spot, exspecially Jo the manager and the great server we had James, but honestly all the staff was caring and friendly. My hubby and I are going to be going to the islands in april and I wanted to try some new things that I had never had before like poke and musubi. They were so helpful and did I mention they have all you can eat! Everything I had was amazing, the portions were great for no waste! The spot is so so so cute, clean and the music was amazing! I can't wait to go back! If I could give it a better score I would!

Ordered the Ahi Fever roll, Hawaiian roll (half off), Kappa Maki (Cucumber) roll and Cajun Tuna (2 piece) and was in sushi heaven. A definite repeat the next time I'm in Vegas

After a funeral service in Boulder City friends and family gathered here to dine and remember a beloved father, grandfather, partner, and friend.The set menu had been chosen ahead of time and printed out. It was a good selection including the deceased's favorite, salmon skin sushi. The food kept coming from salad, mandoo, assorted tempura, and a generous plate of hibachi chicken with rice, Mac salad for each guest plus a box of dessert beyond filling.Enjoyed the chicken plate a lot- perfectly grilled and the sauce was broke da mouth delicious.The servers were efficient bringing beverage of choice and each item on the menu.

All you can eat Sushi and Hawaiian is the best. Uni is very fresh and good quality. Service is great. Ambience is nice.

I came in on October 18th, 2024 when everything happened! I recently went in to receive the refund back to my card which I had to wait 15-30 minutes for but that was okay because it was busy on Valentines Day -- totally understandable! There was also a new manager who helped me out on my issue, I was thankful he was trying all types of methods despite not being familiar with their system. They kept offering me a gift card with the refund amount on it but I kept having to say no & how I preferred to have it back on my card. I appreciate Jeff for making sure the management team was aware of my issue & able to assist me! Jeff also validated how the last manager did not appropriately respond to my issue the way he should have or handled it properly, so thank you Jeff!

I don't know why people giving island sushi bad reviews!!!! We've been coming here since they first opened. Last night we had one of the best experiences here for AYCE and it was New Year's Eve! Mac is our favorite server he's been here forever! Very attentive ordering was spot on! All around great experience! Everything brought out perfectly timed and so yummy!! Big tips for AYCE...always order what you think you can eat one time. For me it's 2 speciality rolls, 2 NIGIRi, and apps all ahead of time. We used to order a tiny bit, and then order more..but learned they get busy and you will wait awhile for further rolls. We also pick up bentos a few times a month on lazy cooking nights! Always so Ono! Thank you guys so much!! Mahalo to Mac, the sushi chefs, and everyone working last night happy new year
