Definitely recommend. This is the second time I've been here. The decoration is always different. I have to say the first time I went I loved the decoration, this time not as much but I definitely had a great time with my group.

Let's talk about this Ice Bar in vegas that my whole family we experienced it together so they give us a nice jacket to bundle up in with a pair of gloves the bar is small but it's also cold as North Pole as well so there's a bunch of seating areas some really cool features the glasses are made of ice and they have a ice sculpture of a woman's breast that you can drink out of sooo if it's one of them hot days I'd suggest you check out the Ice Bar and chill it's the COOLEST spot lol

Every time we walked by Ice Bar inside the Golden Nugget it cost us another $50 or so. That's because the drinks are so good and bartenders so fun here (Sokhul and Art were great!), you can't just walk by and not stop for a round or two. Hundreds of dollars later, I feel like a regular!Best drink: the build-it-yourself bloody mary bar (which isn't really true because they build it for you) but it's still amazing and only $12-14, depending on your vodka preference. Also amazing, the champagne with a cherry and a shot of vodka. A few girls insisted we try their drinks and after we did, we ordered our own. They even let you walk away with the rest of the mini-bottle for self-refills of champagne.More than once we stopped here with new friends for beers and shots a time or two as well. I can't believe how many great people we met while on our way to and from the Nugget's insane swimming pool. Well, yes I can because a) we love having fun and my bf's super friendly, and b) it's Las Vegas! This bar was a great place to meet and to meet up. Close to the front lobby as well, so it was our final stop; perfectly convenient for the exchange of the EDC bracelet for the final night with a new friend, and to check out of our room and pay for all that room service and poolside food and drinks - oops! Went kind of crazy!!

Small bar in the Golden Nugget. It was alright but we saw the sign for the Build Your Own Bloody Mary but they didn't have half the stuff on the list so that was really annoying and the reason I didn't give 5 stars. The bacon was delicious though.

So the Ice Bar is this cool little watering hole right by the Golden Nugget's lobby. It's laid out very simply: a handful of bar stools and a couple of chairs off to the side. It's all very no-frills and efficient, and the different bartenders were all extremely professional. I stuck to beer, but my dining companion would often order cocktails and the bartenders were quite generous with the alcohol. (The gin and tonic, for example, is poured without the help of a shot glass.)

Build your own Bloody Mary's on the weekends are the best in downtown Vegas! Moscow Mules and Martinis were equally as delicious.

Ice bar was expensive but fun. If you're a bucket-lister with some money to blow go for it. My husband and I chose to purchase on 39$ ticket that came with 2 drinks and a 19$ just for entry so strong 60-65 just to go in. This way we could both go in and have 1 drink. The drinks seem small because you're served in an ice cup so far here's no ice cubes to displace the drink. Drinks were tasty but nothing mind blowing. The atmosphere is...cool (sorry) it's very much a novelty; the type of thing you do to say you did it. We probably spent 20 minutes inside because it was so cold. We went at a dead time (5pm on a Thursday, no happy hour) and the bartender said it does get lively around 9-11 pm. You can't bring in your phone/camera. There was a photographer that came in and we got some souvenir pictures. The ice bar could easily run you 80$ so just determine if it's worth it to you.

I took a day trip to Vegas on a Saturday in July and wound up at the Golden Nugget. Not sure why, as I'm not much of a gambler. Once I had flushed $60 down the drain in the slot machines, I decided to do something more productive.......grab a cocktail! I began searching for the right bar, passing a bourbon bar (not my thing), a beer bar (not in the mood), and then there it was, the Ice Bar. Located just past the lobby and with a view of the pool/waterslide area, it looked just right. I grabbed a bar stool and ordered up a Titos and soda with a lime. Pretty simple stuff. The friendly bar tender quickly obliged and asked me if I would like to open a tab. Unsure how long I would be staying, I just decided to pay drink by drink. That's when she said it.......$12! Ok, maybe I'm a bit cheap, but I thought drinks in Vegas were supposed to be cheap. I paid up and even had a second one. Then, I decided it would be more economical to go drink at the airport.A for location and atmosphere. C for drink quality. D for price.
