Had a great stay during our recent trip to Las Vegas. The room rates were competitive, and the hotel is right next to Flamingo, Cromwell, Bellagio, Linq, and attached to Paris, so everything is right there! The Horseshoe has a food court with many good dining options including Johnny Rockets, Sbarro, and Guy Fieri's Flavourtown.Delicious food, drinks, and high energy casino floor.Express elevators to the higher floors are available, with self check in and check out kiosks for easy room check in upgrade offers. The suite we got was expansive with a rear view of The Sphere from our window. I do wish the suite had a kitchenette and not just a mini fridge, but I suppose I understand they want you spending money at their establishments and not staying in your room. It is a vacation destination after all.The rooms were clean, room service prompt, view amazing, location excellent, price point was almost unbeatable. Will definitely recommend Horseshoe Las Vegas to friends and family alike. This wasn't our first stay!

My boyfriend and I travel to Vegas 1-3 times a year because we live in Mesa and it's an easy trip. Normally we stay at a hotel just off the strip and walk over to Bally's/Horseshoe. This trip started on Fremont Street a week earlier but we decided to stay for an extra night on strip before we headed home and found a deluxe king room at the Horseshoe which we booked the morning of (non-refundable) through Booking.com. We left Fremont and killed some time, arriving to the Paris parking garage at 2p. We got an email/text saying we could check in online with a Caesars rewards account, so we went through the lost credentials process but ended up signing up for a new players club card so we could check in online. The Caesars rewards check-in link offered a few different paid upgrade options for our stay but we weren't sure of the difference on a couple of them so we decided to get in the check in line to ask about the details... We got to the reception area at 2:30 and got into the only line we saw. After standing there for 20 min, and with at least 3 parties ahead of us, an employee approached and says that we are in the early check in line for guests checking in before 3. The guest behind us joked that by the time we got to the desk it would be 3. The employee glared at us and walked away. There was a sign for early check in, but it was across the lobby next to a group of kiosks and not near the stanchions we were in. We finally reached the desk at 2:57 and was able to ask a couple quick questions about what the different upgrades meant. They said we would have to pay $20 to check in early at that time so we let the anxious and hurried gentleman we had been chatting with go ahead of us.They then said we would have to pay the $20 early checkin fee even if it was after regular checkin time of 3pm, which we were trying to understand the logic behind. This is when "Don" came over on the customer side of the desk and stood next to me. He proceeds to tell us our line is for guests checking in before 3 and that we needed to get into a new line that had formed after we had gotten into our current line and which was much longer now than the one we started in. There were still at least 5 guests behind us so I was trying to understand what happens to guests in the early check in line if they don't make it to the desk by 3. Are they still charged for not getting any additional "early time". We would have paid the fee had we actually gotten to check in when we got into line 30 min prior. I asked Don "what happens at 3?" and he stops points his finger at us, and I quote exactly, "I will remove you". We took this as a completely inappropriate physical threat, and he was beyond twice my size. At this point my boyfriend took a photo of his name tag so we would have his name for reference. He yelled at us and then started screaming for security saying "he took my picture, he took my picture," as he went presumably to find security. We approached and spoke with assistant manager Heide Smith who was at the counter and who we hoped would diffuse the situation. She (falsely) stated it is against Nevada law to take someones picture without their permission, so my boyfriend deleted the image in front of her but she said it was too late without elaborating what that meant. She wasn't much help but at least she listened for a few seconds before saying she couldn't help us unless we get in the back of the new line. We left to finish checking in online on our own outside of the hotel far away from Don's hostility. We completed the online check in through the Caesars reward link where we paid for one of the upgrade options for a High Roller view. We left the casino to the aforementioned kiosks and got our key with no issue. However, when we got to our room, we opened the curtains to a windowed view of a wall. Definitely not what the upgrade offer claimed. So we returned to the front desk and found ourselves speaking to Heide again. We tried to explain but before we could finish she grabs our kiosk checkin paper and goes into the back room. After a while she comes out and says we didn't have an upgrade. We told her we paid for the upgrade through Caesars rewards but she said she only had what booking.com sent and started explaining we had a "run of the house" booking. Again we explained it was not upgraded through the original 3rd party, it was upgraded through the Hotel's check in process but she wouldn't even look at the receipt or the order screenshot and again went in the back. When she came back she indignantly said she gave us a free upgrade to the room but insisted we had not paid for it, she had just done it as a courtesy, but couldn't drop the fact that we only booked a standard room through a 3rd party. Her attitude was very cold and argumentative and was clearly showing her frustrations. She kept reiterating that we did not pay for an upgraded room even though we had. Surely we are not the only guests that this

OMG I've stayed at plenty of Caesars properties and havenever had this many issues. First, when I booked, I bookeda King room. When I checked in via kiosk because no onewas at the front really, I went to my room and found it wastwo twins instead. Called to see about switching, she said Ihad to come downstairs. Went downstairs she said therewas nothing she could do. I mentioned that I booked a Kingforever ago and she said it was first come first serve. That isBS. If you book a king room, you get a king room. Thosepeople they "upgraded" probably reserved their room afterme anyway and it should go by who booked first. My lord. Then the heat in the room wouldn't work. I turned it up to 80as high as it would go and it was still blowing cold air. Thethermometer went from 65 to 57 degrees. I had to call andthey sent up engineering who fixed it, thank goodness, but ittook an hour to heat up and it was 2 o'clock in the morning. Then, next day, I went to Caesars awards counter because acouple of months prior on the phone they gave me aconfirmation number and said to take it to the CaesarsReward counter and that that was the only way to get therewards points that they were giving me on the phone. Thenwhen I went there, nothing. They then told me it hadsomething to do with my reservation probably and the ladyon the phone had to do it. Like, OMG, communication errormuch? 60% of a business' success is COMMUNICATION.No one knows whats going on or happening. THEN, I gotsome food downstairs to go and did not get silverware in thebag. When I called for room service to please bring me someextra towels and a spoon, they said they could bring towelsbut no spoon. Really? I know they have rolled up silverwarein buckets downstairs and that that is what people who areinjured sit and do to make money on worker's comp. Justgrab one! They also do not provide body wash in the rooms.Marriott Properties are much more on it. I think I will stickwith them

The hotel is a crash pad. No concierge only a counter with a robotic employee reluctant to answer any logistical questions and give you a keycard. The casino lobby has zero ventilation and is extremely smoky. No way to avoid walking through this hellscape. The room did not have any coffee/tea setup and at 4am and 5:30am there were two 10-minute emergency alarms that woke the entire building up. It was one of the worst experiences of my life in a hotel. It's cheap, gross, rude and maybe up your alley if you want to pass out.

It was my first time staying at Horshoe and it was actually really nice and calm. The service was really great and Makenzie was amazing and accommodating! The only thing I did not like was how they didn't want to give anyone early check ins that they literally check u in right on time and if u do check in early it's a $20 charge. We went to the Anyma concert at Sphere and it was perfect distance only about $10 for Uber and we walked back and it was not that bad of a walk! Loved our room view of the sphere and linq and that there was alot of mirrors everything was pretty clean and loved having a fridge! If you're looking to stay at an inexpensive hotel and going on a quick trip I recommend this casino and they have a cool arcade and food options as well.

Overall had a great time here but the cocktail waitresses were quite rude. Came here with my mom for my 21st birthday but we kept getting ignored or they'll say someone would be with us and no one would come. Both me and my mom were getting carded constantly and my drinks specifically always tasted like juice, it seemed like they still thought I was underage regardless of my ID. The lady that helped me at the Rewards Center was also quite rude because she didn't think I was of age and would not let go of my ID, not sure if i experienced this because of my age but at every other casino everyone was much nicer. Employees at other stores or restaurants in the casino were very nice and welcoming, we just had issues with Horseshoe/Caesar employees specifically which made our experience less fun.

I've never stayed at the Horseshoe so I can't comment on the rooms. But I have paid this casino numerous visits to check out the Dino exhibit, the food court, their arcade and do a little bit of gambling. I've always had a pretty good experience at this casino. Upon arriving, I really couldn't find what I was looking for and the security guards were really informative and very helpful. The one con that I have is there parking rates are really pricey. Just a brief bit of history about the "Horseshoe" that an employee informed me of on my most recent visit. :On November 21, 1980, the MGMGrand was the site of one of the worst high-rise fires in United States history, in which 85 people died. The MGM Grand was rebuilt at a cost of $50 million, and eventually reopened on July 29, 1981, with new fire safety features in place. Following a renovation, Caesars Entertainment rebranded the property as "Horseshoe Las Vegas" on December 15, 2022. It is named after the original Binion's Horseshoe casino in downtown Las Vegas.

Came here on a Sunday around 5pm. The one bar staff I had was nice. They make the drinks here strong. I tried 1 espresso martini and I got buzzed real quick. Unfortunately there was not enough espresso because it didn't keep me awake at the show I attended afterwards. Oops. Expect to pay about $20 for a cocktail here. They have some video casino games at the bar and a nice lounge area with sports on the TV.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Terrible service. Terrible rooms. Came for my anniversary and they couldn't even accommodate the room I originally bought. No microwaves. Rooms look like nothing in the pictures. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
