My family and I were craving BBQ and gave Honor BBQ a try. We're happy we did! Authentic BBQ that you would find in any 'BBQ town' like Memphis, Kansas City, or Fort Worth. The meats were all great but we were so happy to find sides like awesome fried okra and street corn. Give this small business a try, you won't be disappointed!

As someone who has traveled extensively through BBQ hotspots like Texas, St. Louis, Georgia, Indiana, Tennessee, Louisiana, and beyond, I've had the privilege of experiencing a wide variety of regional BBQ styles. Honor BBQ did not disappoint--their Pit Masters truly know their craft. The flavors, tenderness, and smoky perfection of their BBQ rival some of the best I've had across the country. It's clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in every bite. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just someone looking for a great meal, Honor BBQ is a must-visit!

Another episode of "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!"Okay the Good; The smell when you walk through the door is Legit!Smokey and enticing. The place is good size and is clean with plenty of tables. The Honor Old Fashioned is " On Point"The Corn Bread is a big thick fresh slice that is moist and delicious, and the butter is Soft. The Texas Twinkie was mostly good. Big and served hot. Good Flavor but the Brisket filling was a bit pasty from over-purée ing it! The meat looks dry but I will attest it is quite the opposite! Moist and tender. The Sausage is exactly what you get in Texas. Crispy and Smokey and a bit spicy. The Chicken Tenders, best thing on the table maybe! Definitely made in house and fried to perfection, not overdone yet crispy! And the Deviled Eggs are good. The Brisket has almost no flavor of Smoke or Rub. The Bad; Reiterate the Twinkie was good but has room for improvement. The Peach Cobbler was huge! It however was meh, nothing special and mostly Peach and it really needed more of the Cobbler part and it was only slightly warmed. The Slaw, while made fresh, had a bit of crunch and plenty of dressing was also nothing special. Look it's better than 89% of what is being served all over town. It just would be so much better if there was a bit of pizzaz to it. Some spice or herbs or onion or anything to make it pop! The Beans are Basic as well, Needs work! The Mac and Cheese...Don't waste your time! No Cheese,No Flavor, No Effort! It's creamy but that's it! Overall these guys do a good job with the meats and are giving Great service. But if you are going to the trouble of making your sides, and they are, then put forth a little more effort or why bother. So Good overall but not worth the long drive to get this meal.

Found this place on my way to get tacos. The Texas Twinkie, tots, pulled pork, brisket and cornbread were all amazing. Service was great too. Will be back very soon.

From the service upon arrival, to the recommended cocktails, we had a great time. The beer is cold and being from TX, the bbq is actually very good. The brisket was juicy and that turkey was actually smoked. The sides were great and the in-house sourdough roll on the burger did not suck. I'd head home after this meal and sleep it off. Can't wait to head back!

I get my hair cut next door and saw it's a BBQ place now. Stopped in for dinner. Food was great. And then saw the great price on tap beer. Good food, good beer, what more can I ask for?

The ambience was very cute with an all-American vibe; patriotic, flags and comfy pillows in the booth. I loved the pillows, made me want to stay for a long while. The radio was playing country. The TV had...actually, I don't remember what the TV had on. Which is pretty nice, since some places have the tv so loud and in your face it makes it hard to enjoy the people you came with. Our server (I think their name was Dylan, but I may have misheard!) was EXCELLENT! Very friendly, asked clarifying questions when we ordered, got all our items quickly and even remembered somethings we forgot. Made good recommendations on the food. Very attentive and kind. The owner was all smiles and friendly. I definitely got a good vibe from this place. All this points to a stellar experience that I would return to, but unfortunately I gotta say the food was mostly a miss. The baked beans were a little hard. I liked what they did with the presentation but I they were under cooked. The bacon green beans were more vinegar than bacon. The Mac n cheese needed more salt but that also could be a perceived lack of salt caused by the salty Texas Twinkie, which was the second best thing we tried. Not that any of the food was bad. Far from it. But I've had turkey and brisket from Texas and bbq sauce from Tennessee and this didn't hit. The turkey and ribs were dry it seems they don't have an actual smoker on site. What they could probably pull off really well with the equipment that they have is a great smoked salmon or rainbow trout. If they marinate it well, it'll be stellar. The pulled pork was mid. The brisket was good but still missing something. And most items tasted like vinegar. It should have the zip but not overpower. That being said... I would come back just for the sweet potato fries and the house old fashioned. I have no idea what wizard they made a deal with to unlock the secret of the best sweet potato fries in existence but they did something magical here. Also, we get an old fashioned at every bar we go to and this one was smooth as silk and tingled the tongue. No whiskey bite, which I normally look for but I can't complain. Definitely recommend. If this place can figure out its BBQ, they'll have something pretty special here.

Decided to try this place cause of all the good reviews and I was not disappointed!! First of all the service was fantastic the girl with the colorful dreads was so sweet and helpful with suggestions! I got the lean brisket, chicken wings and fries! All so tasty! The wings especially were my favorite! Loved the pickles it came with! My sister got the turkey and beans and they were also so tasty and juicy! I got the cornbread and butter and omg do not go there without ordering it!! The best I ever had! My one and only complaint would be I wasn't a fan of the bbq sauces. They were all tangy so if you don't like tangy, you won't like any of the three flavors

As a Texas girlie, barbecue is comfort food to me, and I try to visit every place in town that offers it. When I heard this spot boasting about Texas style meats and Tennessee style hospitality, I added it to my calendar for some wholesome election day stress eating. I got the pick-three combo with turkey, smoked wings, and brisket, plus sides of mac and cheese, potato salad (at the server's suggestion) and added on a Texas Twinkie - their word for their bacon-wrapped jalapenos stuffed with brisket and cheese. Overall, I was pleased with my meal. The restaurant smells like barbecue when you walk in, to whet your appetite, and everything came out reasonably fast. The turkey was juicy and flavorful, and I really liked the dry rub on the wings. However, the brisket looked dried out and reheated? It didn't taste awful, but was a little fattier than appropriate and was not visually appealing. The Texas Twinkie was okay, did not seem to have cheese in it but was a large portion that went well with their house ranch (from the wings). I did enjoy the sides, the potato salad was fresh with red potatoes and the macaroni seemed to use a white cheddar and included bagel seasoning, which was an interesting twist.Service throughout was great, though I did not catch her name. Location was clean and decor is perfect for a BBQ joint, with American flags and wood furniture, plus a large bar in the middle. Hopefully I just caught the brisket on an off day. This spot is far for me but one I'll be suggesting that others try!

Honor BBQ is a neighborhood BBQ spot located at the main entrance of the Mountains Edge Community. Upon entering, the hostess was friendly, and sat us promptly. We were quickly greeted by the waiter, and went over some items on the menu. We took advantage of the bar, and ordered a couple cocktails, and started with the fried deviled eggs. The eggs were nothing spectacular, but I dont think much flavor is gained from frying a boiled egg. There is probably a better deviled egg recipe that would represent the BBQ pallet. For the main course we decided on 2 meats and 2 sides to share. The choices were sliced brisket, jalapeño Cheddar sausage link, street corn, and sweet potatoes fries. All the food was great. The sausage was one of the best I've had, and the brisket was full of flavor and moist. I particularly don't care for biscuits a whole lot, but the biscuits here are amazing. I'm going to say it was some type of Cheddar biscuits, but not sure on the recipe. I didn't have room for Desert, but planning on stopping in to just get some pie and a coctail at the bar. My only criticism would be that this place didn't have the BBQ smell inside. I feel like that smell of BBQ smoke, wood burning, sets the mood, and gets cravings going for some BBQ. There are TVs present so you can have dinner, and not miss the big Game.
