This place was called Cathay House back in the day when I was younger my family used to go there, so it's nostalgic. But now it's been renamed and I feel the quality is still there. Fresh fast and friendly. The restaurant itself has been remodeled and it's super clean and inviting with brightness. Give it a go, they know what they are doing.

This might be the worst dim sum place I've ever visited. I hardly give a place 1 star, but I'd say they really need some improvement. From the appetizers to the main dishes, most items seemed either old, reheated or leftover from the previous day. The dim sum items were all soggy, suggesting they had either been sitting in the steamer for far too long or were prepped last night and still serve it to customers the next day. To make matters worse, the photos on the menu didn't match the items we received. You may want to think twice before ordering anything here. The chashu pork is kind of old and dark colored and you can tell this is reheated on a pan so it's greasy and smoked brisket looking which is not right for Chinese chachu pork.

Pork belly skin is too thin and not crunchy like its neighbor. More like pork thigh than pork belly's meat.Eggplant didn't have vinegar in it Best item today was the shrimp roll in dim-sum department .

Been coming here for years and still the most solid Dim Sum spot in Las Vegas. Expect a long wait if you are eating in, but the line moves pretty quickly. Nice Asian decor and friendly service.Today we ordered to go and was very easy to call and place your order the day before for pick up. This visit we enjoyed the shrimp har gow 5/5, chicken feet with black bean sauce 5/5, baked egg custard 5/5, shrimp and pork wonton 5/5, fried shrimp ball5/5 rice noodle roll with xo sauce 5/5 and fried noodle special 5/5.Tip: Even open on Christmas for that dim sum craving or a spot to feed the family. Grab a menu for ease of ordering your next visit or to go order.

We came here for a second visit over a year ago, however, the quality of food was disappointing. Let's first start with everything else and get back to the food. Unlike other dim sum restaurants, this one opens unusually early at 9 am (typically opening hours elsewhere is 11 am - 12 pm). We arrived shortly after opening time and already the restaurant was a good one-third filled. We were seated immediately and were served our requested waters. Food ordering is simple by marking on a sheet of paper and referencing the accompanying picture-filled menu. In no time after putting in our order, all seven of our dishes arrived at the same time. So this is a definite plus especially if you come hungry and have hungry little ones. Okay, onto the food. For some reason, everything just wasn't quite top notch. You can even tell from the difference in the bbq pork bun photo taken from last year versus today. That pretty much says and shows it all. Prices are decent, so you won't break the bank taking out your family or coming with a larger party.But...I will have to say it is time to move on and return to some past dim sum favorites and find new ones for future visits.

Love that the menu is numbered and you don't have to wait for every cart to receive all the different dim sum that you want. It speeds up the ordering process and service. The chairs were also very comfy and tables large enough for big parties.A dish unique to this place was being able to order pork blood in chives - not for everyone's palette, but my brother and dad enjoyed. They also ordered chicken feet, which was the last dish to be delivered, but they were made fresh.

Not realizing that a typical Chinese dish in Vegas is the same price as a buffet, I ended up spending quite more money than it should have been. The congee and fried rice were quite decent, but I was just looking for a very typical lunch style Chinese meal. But this is Vegas, and probably everywhere else in a hot tourist spot, and buffets never have decent fried rice or congee. They have dim sum menu all day (congee was from dim sum), which is quite a plus.

Food was good! There are no carts roaming around, you order what you want on a menu. Definitely hit the spot. Not to mention they have custard buns as many dim sum spots don't offer it. The service was good.
