My car broke down and I was alone and in NEED of help. I went through a very traumatic event earlier in the day and my credit card was stolen, but I had cash on me. The majority of hotels in Las Vegas will NOT let you stay there if you don't have a major credit card to give them. I did have a couple debit cards on me, but they did not have enough $ on them. I was in tears and terrified of what I was going to do, so I pulled out every card, every single thing with my identification and information on them to offer the manager at the front desk. Not only did she say I could pay with cash, but she was very sweet and helped calm me down. She didn't have to be kind and help me, but she did! And I will FOREVER be grateful!-Manager/Hotel Employee at front desk...THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! You have no idea how much you helped a complete stranger today!

I'm not going to lie, I was a bit scared when I first arrived, as there were some drunk loud people all outside the small motel office. Place looked old and a bit run down as well, and there's the tiniest saloon attached to the motel office with loud tattooed bikers all over (I know, I know, I shouldn't judge...but I was definitely intimidated and out of my comfort zone). The motel employee was the nicest fellow though, and he got us set up very quickly. He also told us there were donuts and coffee in the office in the morning.I didn't see any elevators, so we took the stairs up to our room on the third floor (No big deal for me, but just a head's up for those who can't do stairs). The room itself was very nice, clean, and well kept. Don't expect any conditioner or bottles though; everything was in small individual packets (2 shampoos, 1 lotion, 1 bar of soap), so ladies might want to bring your own hair products and shampoo/conditioners. Towels are also very thin and small, but usable. I dare say the inside of the rooms are in much better condition than some of the older hotels on the strip, and for a much more affordable price. This is a good place to stay if you want somewhere nearby, though there are also other actual hotels that are cheaper and have just as nice rooms (only catch is that they are further away from the strip; maybe 15-20 min). I wouldn't mind staying here again though, but I wish their wifi was a little better (it kept dropping signal so I couldn't use it).

This place is a piece of shit and staff are incompetent and stupid. I reserved this place and these numb nuts decided to give my room away because my friends and I had to check in later than anticipated. They were of no help and thankfully we were able to get a room at Paris hotel instead. Do not go here unless you like trash!

If you happen to pull up to this hotel and notice a biker gang in the parking lot, don't panic. It's OK. If you accidentally walk into a bar with your kids, thinking it's the check-in office, it's OK. It probably happens to a lot of people. I have to say, this place looks shady. But it's not bad! The guy behind the check-in desk was really nice. The room was very clean. It was definitely old, but in decent shape. The beds were hard, but some people are into that. I don't judge. This is definitely just a place to sleep and shower. It was a little irritating to be woken up at 2am because the biker gang needed to prove their manhood by revving their engines as loud as absolutely possible, but most who go to Vegas actually go there for the nightlife. The Hubs and I are old and can't make it past 10pm these days, but that's what earplugs are for.

4 stars for what it is. It is an economical motel. It is clean, roomy, bed comfy, & includes a refrigerator that worked good. I felt safe. They have a good maid (who may work 7 days?). One photo (either on Yelp or the motel website) shows a microwave. They no longer offer microwaves. I was told too many people steal them. If I were owner I'd require a credit card. I note one Yelper complained about paying cash. I think using a card makes it safer for all. The motel can back charge for missing items. The customer can complain to the card company for an overcharge.I stayed a week. Saturday was noisy sometimes at night until the bar closes about 1:30. The bar is in a building that is shared with the office for the motel. It is a shared parking lot. I heard groups of 2-3 girls talking as they walked by. I didn't look out but have no reason to believe anything illegal was going on. Just noisy customers of the bar who may or may not have been staying in the motel. My other 6 nights were quiet.Upon check in I inspected the mattress of the bed & it was clean. Mid week I noticed one bug on the refrigerator that possibly could have been a baby cockroach (but it was round & not oval). I never saw any other bugs again (& I looked). The manager Ron apparently makes most of the reservations. I wanted to book the room way in advance & that was not simple. I needed to call multiple times. Ron is very detailed & obviously ethical in person. He explained everything thoroughly.Once my wife phoned me & was confused when the desk clerk (not Ron) answered "Hi" (or "Hello?") instead of "Highland Inn". Another time the office phone was answered "Can I help you?"I had a downstairs room & parked in front of my door.I made reservations for my stay next year.

We had a good experience here , the room was comfortable enough and clean, free doughnuts and coffee available in the office for bfast. A little pricey but we did the reservation the day before, and it was weekend, so maybe you can get better deals reserving with a few days in advance .

We came to Vegas on a Saturday night not knowing our regular Caesar's palace was sold out along with every other high end hotel . So we decided to stay here it was just a regular hotel with every other normal amenities . Once we left they called back to let us know we left our 40k watch there . We stayed at other hotels and they would never call to tell us we left our jewelry. Honest owner and workers. Very appreciative of them.
