Cocktails, appetizers, and sides were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, our steak were underwhelming. Two of us got the ribeye, and they were tough sections of the cut. I ended up eating only part of the steak.

My friends and I stopped by Herbs & Rye for dinner around 11:00 p.m. on a Thursday evening and we had a short wait before our table of 6 was seated. Table bread and waters were promptly brought over.The drink menu here is expansive and impressive. If you're a cocktail connoisseur, you'll be very happy at Herbs & Rye. I ended up ordering a Vieux Carré -- which few bars openly advertise or put on the menu due to how many ingredients are in the cocktail. It was a stiff, but well-balanced cocktail.Amongst our group, we shared the beef tartare, Cacio e Pepe, sides of the Truffle Parmesan Steak Fries, Whiskey Shallot Potatoes, Sprouts & Swine (brussel sprouts with thick cut bacon pieces), and Sweet Potato Tots. There was not a single item I wouldn't order again as everything was delicious. However, if I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be the beef tartare. The beef is tender, evenly cut, well-seasoned, and the dijon mustard and capers brings a nice brininess to the dish.For mains, my wife and I shared the 16 oz ribeye, cooked Pittsburgh rare. I've never had this type of cook before on a steak but it might be my new favorite. The crust on the steak was perfect, and the steak was cooked exactly rare on the inside. I tend to order one degree of rareness under what I want because so many steakhouses will overcook meat, but that's definitely not the case here. Order the doneness that you want, as the kitchen does a great job cooking to temp. If you're with a large group, I definitely recommend getting one of each of the sauces for your meats as they're all so unique. My personal favorite was a toss up between the Herbs & Rye Spice Rub and the Brandy Peppercorn Sauce.If you're looking for a great steakhouse that doesn't break the bank, with great cocktails and sides to boot, Herbs & Rye is perfect. Highly, highly recommended.

We had an amazing dinner here. It was myself and 2 of my colleagues. We got reservation but arrived a bit early to enjoy some signature cocktails. The gin based cocktails were so good - great flavors, mix, refreshing. Upon arrival, you walk pass the check in desk and there's a small room to the right with tables and a larger dining room to the left and a long bar with some booths against the wall right in front of you. The bar was crowded and so were the booths and quite lively. We were able to get a few seats at the end and ordered our first round of cocktails. We then went to check in for our table and were walked there. Great warm ambiance in the whole restaurant. Wonderful service and attentive staff. 50% items?!?! My New York strip was amazing and was only $29. For vegas, that's a a steal. We had some wine and some sides with a salad and I couldn't finish my steak and took half home. We had a great time there with great food.

My first recommendation would be know what you're getting into:If you don't have a reservation, you likely won't get a table. I arrived around 6:45pm, and had to wait for a bar seat as a single diner, which took around 20 minutes, which was fine, I had nowhere to be. So just be prepared to wait for a bar seat, or make a reservation ahead of time.That being said, it's worth the wait for the price and quality. The steak and sides were great for the price, and the drinks were reasonably priced as well. Sean the bartender was friendly and attentive, even though the place was packed and he was doing many different things at once.If you're flexible enough on where you sit and are willing to wait it out on some nights, it's a great place to try for quality steaks without paying Strip pricing.

Unfortunately while everyone recommended this place, our experience was ruined by our waitress. Gabby just doesn't seem to love her job. She was cold, unfriendly, condescending. Bartender was super friendly while we were waiting, perhaps bar seat would be better.Food was fine overall.

Absolutely amazing experience. This is such a hidden gem I almost missed my turn finding it LOL. The wait wasn't very long and the service was absolutely amazing. The ambiance is more of a fancy, dim lighted, romantic or intimate vibe. It's almost like you are transported back into time stepping in here. I love the layout of their menu. Their drink menu is divided by the era, which is so unique and they offer great descriptions of everything. The food quality was amazing. I cannot wait to come back, and I promise you they will not disappoint

We were recommended this place by our uber driver and he said the steaks here were good, but the cocktails are really what they're known for. We were able to make same day reservations for 11pm. There is a 50% off happy hour price for food on the menu, but the happy hour is all day... I'm confused, but not complaining. The drinks were around $17-19. We ordered:- pornstar martini- flat iron steak- filet mignon- truffle mac and cheese- the dirtiest dirty martini- another drink that I cannot remember the name ofThe free bread they brought out was stale I'm pretty sure, but it came with the creamiest butter to sorta counteract that LOL. It's ok, I was here for the drinks and meat. My pornstar martini was so delicious, truly one of the best drinks I've ever had. We ordered medium rare for both of our steaks, but they were cooked to 2 different levels-- 1 was a true medium rare and the other was bordering medium. The truffle mac and cheese was incredible and indulgent; if you're not a fan of truffle, I think you would still like this, that's how good it was. I was kinda surprised the steaks had no garnishes and were literally just meat on a plate, but I kinda like how straight to the point it was. Overall, I enjoyed it. I'm coming back for sure whenever I'm in town next.

This is definitely a MUST TRY when in Vegas! Immediately walking in, I was very impressed at the service we got. We had a big party and they were very accommodating. This place is "darker" inside so after eating, I was in a food coma and very tired lol everything we ordered was amazing! Definitely recommend the spicy mussels, I've been thinking about them since!!! The surf n turf meal is HUGE, my husband ordered it for himself, and it was more than enough for two to possibly three people. This was our wedding night dinner, and I was very grateful for the service. A waiter brought us complementary champagne and dessert! This is one of those spots that we will continue to visit every time we come to Vegas!
