Hawaiian Barbecue

It's a small place but family owned. The food was good. I had the low carb combination plate.

Typical Hawaiian BBQ spot. I placed an order to go and it was ready in about 15-20 mins (not bad) the food was a little dry so I'm notSure if I would try this place again .

If you're looking for thick and crunchy katsu or teriyaki chicken this is definitely NOT the place to go. I'd recommend Mo' Bettahs down the street. Lady upfront is super rude just staring at you and rushing you to make your choice, Katsu tasted old and teriyaki was way too thin. For almost spending $40 for two plates, is horrible lol and they have rlly no selection of sauces. Avoid !

Hole-in-the-wall casual restaurant with really good food! The service is quick too. All of us enjoyed our meals and appetizers we got. We tried pineapple combo fried rice, kimchi spam fried rice, combo BBQ, musubi, crab rangoons, and our friends got other food that they liked. I personally ordered the kimchi fried rice and loved it.

Foods are always tasty and good! Service was quick especially for delivery orders. Overall the food, service and ambiance were good! Would definitely go back for more Hawaiian foods!

Not only do we love to get food to go from here but did you know they cater too!We just threw a huge baby shower for our son & DIL and needed food for 75 people. Who doesn't love Hawaiian food? Let me tell you, it was a hit! We ordered:Teriyaki chicken Combo fried rice Combo chow mein Mac saladChicken katsu musabiEverything was SO good! The chicken was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Both the chow mein & the fried was loaded with meat! There wasn't a single piece of the chicken, Katsu musabi, be left because it was so delicious!. I can't honestly say anything good or bad about the Mac salad because I didn't try it. It's just not my thing, but everybody else loved it especially the mother to be which is all that matters.So not only is this place our go to for delicious Hawaiian food, but in the future we will use them again for our catering needs and you should too!

#1 Hawaiian Barbecue is a casual order at the counter Hawaiian Style Restaurant with three locations in Las Vegas. The North Las Vegas location is very small but does have tables for indoor dining. They specialize in offering the Hawaiian Plate lunch. That mean you get a Styrofoam container packed with LOTS of proton, lots of rice and lots of macaroni salad, and maybe some cabbage. They also offer sandwiches that are way cheaper than fast food priced. They also offer musubi and Hawaiian noodle soup. This isn't a fancy place and they don't offer fancy food. The food from what we tried is good. Portions are extra large....and prices are extra low! And the people working there seem extra nice!

Excellent restaurant fast and friendly... food is delicious... large menu. Highly recommended and I would come back again... A+

Updating my review in 2023!Happy to say this place is still one of our regular go-to spots.There's something to be said about consistency (through the years) which pertain to all of the important facets-- the food and fast yet friendly service. The decor remains unchanged and I am so comforted by that every time I enter this place. Its clean, I'm warmly greeted and never wait long.I'll be honest, we order a combination of the same items every single time-- chicken katsu, kahlua pig + cabbage, roast pork and always at least one spam musubi. Even through the tough days of the pandemic, the quality of food and service never declined. That's a beautiful thing :)Please keep your expectations realistic. This is not a hype-y, self proclaimed authentic and gourmet Hawaiian food joint from the islands. But that's exactly why I love it. They deliver every dish, as advertised, and then some.#1 Hawaiian BBQ is like my takeout security blanket.

Very good the portions were large price was very reasonable. I've eaten there several times usually take out.
