Grill 55

I've eaten here a few times since I'm staying at the Renaissance. Food is B+ --first try margherita pizza..average, pesto chicken sandwich--tasted great but soggy, but today I tried their sweet chili wings---amazing! Non-breaded, meaty,perfectly cooked with the BEST glaze...and REAL blue cheese dressing! Best wings I've had in a very long time!!Service has always been good and cocktails are top notch!

This restaurant is no longer in existence. It's now an upscale steakhouse inside the hotel it's very expensive thumbs down.

I come here often whenever my boss is in town. Service is good, but I think the bartenders need to smile more. This last visit, I had to drop a star. I ordered Brussel Sprouts, and I was served lightly cooked. I let the server know that the Brussels were hard, and his response was, "Oh, th a t doesn't look right." See photo. We got another one, and it was so much better. I had the steak and errrr no taste at all. I ate 1 slice, and that was it. I packed the rest to go. I'll stick to ordering appetizers instead of an entree. It's much better.

We had lunch here during our conference. The appetizers not pictured because we dove in Brussels spouts and calamari. The food overall was good. The steak sandwich was a little dry and not as flavorful as I hoped. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes. Our server John was great and attentive to us! We were in a private rio which was really nice and we were able to see the restaurants wine collection.

Didn't get the pleasure to eat here. I did just work a trade show so my apologies for a potentially grumpy review. The margarita in a plastic cup was pretty good but why a plastic cup. Don't get me wrong, I don't judge bars that serve in plastic. I just wanted a margarita in glass and I felt let down. I'll come back and try them once more. But if you're looking for a classy ambiance, look elsewhere.

Located in the Renaissance Hotel, Grill 55 is a short walk from the food challenged and no where to sit convention center. Gets really busy at peak times if there is a sizable convention. Had Caesar salad with chicken. Comes tossed, but it could have been better dressed. The chicken is served on the salad cold, which seems odd, like clearly just our if the fridge chilled. Not bad for the convenience, but for me it is just a convenience.

Good food. Good service. Renaissance staff is great. Their prices have really increased in the last few years. $16-$20 to add a small protein to an already pricy salad. So I don't go there as much anymore

This is a great place to stop in and grab lunch whether you're staying at the Renaissance hotel or just in the area. Convention center is also right across the parking lot. Burger was cooked great and the truffle fries are to die for, so good in fact that we ordered an additional side of them. My father in law ordered the crab macaroni and cheese, I had a quick bite and it was amazing too. Definitely ordering that next time I'm in!

Grill 55 is no longer in business. It was located in the Marriott Renaissance hotel. But it has been replaced and remodeled as Zio's Italian Ristorante and lounge.

All three of the service staff ignored us while not very busy. We tried getting a table, tried standing at the bar in front of all three of them while they ignored us for 5 minutes before we walked out.
