When the Green Valley at Warm Springs Food 4 Less recently closed, this immediate area of Green Valley had turned into a death valley for food shopping. This has affected residents including yours truly. The consequence of the closure is that when I am in my area, I will more frequently shop in Trader Joe's with Green Valley Grocery a few stores away to pick up a beer for home. Green Valley Grocery is convenience with an inconvenience. Parking close to Green Valley Grocery will most likely be a frustrating experience during peak times. The shopping center has a flaw where there is one exit to southbound Green Valley Parkway that a traffic signal controls. This causes a cue of cars to back up to the traffic signal consequently causing a long delay in backing out of the parking space. To avoid this frustration I always park further away by Bank of America. Inside, the convenience store upbeat employees serve customers in a slightly dingy looking convenience store. The interior falls short of the bright and upbeat appearance of a standard 7-Eleven. However, the employees that have rung up my purchase have been personable. For example, when I brought an after work beer last week, the dude was joking with me about the beer hitting the spot after work. And yesterday when I brought a fountain beverage after Mothership, the woman was joking about the scent of my sunscreen reminding her of how much she loves the scent of coconut. On account of the fact that the immediate area of Green Valley at Warm Springs has developed into a foodshopping desert and that I am a fan of Trader Joe's, I will return to Green Valley Grocery. Hopefully in the near future they will be opening a new four star supermarket in the Food 4 Less spot that I could be reporting on.

The woman behind the counter is terrible. The one working today at 6pm. March 2nd. I go there every other day. Every single time. Her attitude is trash. She talks back to people. She is rude. Uneducated. And cannot, to save her life answer a question without an attitude and a whole trash talk.

I've been stopping by here for years to get a snack or a coffee. They recently remodeled the inside of the store. It feels more open and less smokey that before. The selection of goods is still the same. There is pretty much the same selection as 7-11 or the like.

Hi there. My name's Preston. I'm not trying to start this message off in a manner where I flame you or your stores, but I was treated EXTREMELY rudely by one of your cashiers tonight. Her name is Lori and she works at your GVG on GV and Sunset. I've been coming in here for over 5 years and have never been treated so rudely by a cashier anywhere. I went in earlier tonight with a friend wearing my University of Kentucky t shirt and she immediately started bad mouthing my families team. Saying she was a Duke fan and Patriots fan. Fine. O.K. I don't get that involved, and I've been down this road with Lori before. We leave and have a laugh about how serious she is about her teams. No big deal, but than I come back a little later to buy something and I forgot my wallet. I bought a bottle of Vodka and she didn't even card me...BIG NO NO. Check the cameras. She didn't card me...My fault I admit, but I had some change in the car, so I had to pay in change. Legal American currency...and she threw a fit, and had the nerve to tell me "This is all on camera?" What is that? I'm not stealing, I bought something that cost $2.50 with change and she treated me like I was robbing her. I used to work for Chevron as a cashier so I know that sometimes we have to take change, but she was absolutely the rudest. 5 years of being a regular. Than when I come home and try to contact GVG on their website it's absolutely one of the worst setup sites ever. No way to contact because they ask for the security code without GIVING you a security code. Lol. I will not go back to this GVG late night or buy anything when Lori's there. It might be to the point I just go the Lee's liquor or Smith's down the road. Thank you.

Every time I go in the lady behind the counter always has a STANK ass attitude. No matter how polite you are towards her, seems like someone pissed in her Cheerios (it's been certain instances where her customer service needs major improvement) I would rather drive out of my way just to get what i needed than to have another interaction with her. The other gentleman who works there is always pleasant however, his coworker who works there at nights however can use some customer service training. Not to mention she was taking a personal call on speaker phone like boo whoever you were on the phone with is who you have a problem with not the customer

I'm 99.999% sure that one of the clerks here stole my credit card information and spent a bunch of money at Walmart. Never going back here and you shouldn't either.
