My reviews keep disappearing, but here I am at review #731.Good life was quite simply not good. We only had 3 hours between games. We all ordered basic burger and fries. You would think we would be served in 3 hours! 3 hours. Not a chance. One family of 4 and one family of 2 were served and the rest of us waited and waited, never to be served again. The server was surly from the beginning and tried to tell us that it was because we didn't get separate cheques. Seriously? Wouldn't that have brought her better tips? We could have gone back to our hotel 30 minutes away and made the food ourselves in the time it took for nothing. We were left scrambling and drove to Sickies instead which was 1000 times better. It was so bad that one has to wonder at the validity of the reviews or if this place is a front for something. Even as we were leaving some passerbys told us how awful it was. Never again.

Review #29 of 2024Saturday June 29th visitArriving around 7 pm for a friend's birthday bash, we headed up to the second floor of the venue. The business was well-designed with an elevator for those with mobility challenges.The place was packed, especially since there was a televised fight happening that evening. Navigating through the crowd was a bit tricky, even with my cane.After exchanging greetings with my friends, I stepped outside and was met with an unnecessary comment from a girl warning me not to slam the door or face her wrath... I decided to close the sliding door with a bit more force anyway, and she didn't bother to say another word.When I returned, I was ignored by the server, so I turned to the bartender for a drink recommendation. I tried a few craft beers based on his suggestion and found them enjoyable. I'd definitely return for more.While they do offer a food menu, the bustling crowd made me hesitant to dine there as I prefer not to be jostled while eating.My recommendation: visit at your own risk, while the beers were on point, some of the patrons were not as friendly. I give people the respect I want in return, but this evening, a snotty girl tried my patience.

A hidden gem with great beer, great service and delicious burgers. We've popped in a couple of times (afternoon and evening). Both crowds are incredibly different but the service and quality remains consistent. My favorite time is in the afternoon. The second floor is such a nice vibe to kick a couple of cold ones back. Cute water street/ Mountain View's. Loveeeee this spot so much! Shoutout to the bartender who consistently take great care of us! You make this place what it is!

Good life....mediocre experience. Where to begin. When it's 110 in Hendo where to go for cool air, cold beer and good vibe.? Not here.Juan's is the undisputed king of cool on Water St. We love Juan's but we are always looking for alternatives. Good life has good reviews but it's a strange place. Split on 3 levels, we were instructed to head to the second floor if we wanted alcohol (duh) because the guy behind the bar(?) on the 1st floor was not 21. Ok. 2nd floor vibe was decidedly slow, 4 people. TVs were tuned to nature shows, TNT, no sports, f-ing bore show. We hung in there, ordered beers and food. The wife went use the rest room which she classified, " was a step below the latrines at Curry Village in Yosemite". Great. Food was good beer was cold but in no way would we return. $67 for 2 burgers and 4 beers before tip. I give Good Life 3 months, tops.Juan's is still the king.

Visited Goodlife Brewing, a bar on Water Street serving craft beer from Goodlife Brewing Company located in Bend Oregon.3 story building with a bar area on each, we sat on the second floor with a great view of Water Street.Ordered a Sippy Cup Hazy IPA and a Descender IPA. Both were outstanding quality, fresh juicy tropical mango and pineapple aromas in the hazy with a medium bitterness and citrus fruit and low pine aromas on the IPA. Glasses were "Beer Clean" and they represented Oregon Breweries well. Bar was fairly busy, the bartender on the first and second floor were both friendly, greeting us as we walked in and hustling around the bar and tables trying to keep up with everyone, doing a solid job and not making anyone wait long.They could definitely use some extra help waiting the tables so the bartender doesn't have to run in and out.Also ordered a few burgers. Cook came out to serve and was super friendly, found us some ketchup and told us a little bit about the new ownership.Burgers were ok quality. Veggie burger Patty was a bit disappointing, should consider switching to a beyond Patty or impossible Patty. Bun was good, veggies (tomato, lettuce) could be better quality. Fries and onion rings were solid. Dug the skins still on the fries.Overall a solid 4.25 bar in a great location but going 5 stars because of the staff.I'll be back to try some of the other beers again for sure but might skip the burger and get some Juan's Flaming Fajitas across the street.Clean bar.Kid friendly.Vegetarian friendly.Gaming at the bar.

Amazing patio views with patios on both the second & third floor. Super friendly staff :) They show all the football games & UFC fights! My new favorite bar on Water St Happy Hour 3-6pm M-F

This is the worst place I have ever been in my life. We had 5 families and in 2 hours we got 2 burgers only. The waitress is the rudest person I have met. Their excuse is having 1 chef! How long does it take 1 chef??? When we walked out a local saw me upset and said the place sucks right?? Writing is on the wall whoever put a good rating obviously is friends with the owner. I would rather eat fast food and stay sober then ever go here again

Absolutely amazing service everyone was so nice and informative! A perfect little holeIn the wall with great atmosphere. Good was amazing the chicken sandwich was to die for and the sweet potato fries are so worth it!
