**This review is based on amenities and not the rooms** The reason for my 5 star review is due to Marilou G from the gift shop. She is so sweet & kind and I truly appreciate her warm & generous hospitality. There was an hour wait for Ping Pang Pong, the dim sum restaurant inside Gold Coast Casino, so to kill time my family & I took turns exploring the casino and ended up in the gift shop which had a 50% markdown sale on their holiday items.Due to Marilou's expert negotiation skills, I ended up purchasing a beautiful black satin bomber/varsity jacket, some gold shape liquor bars, as well as several holiday items & tourist trinkets.Other than the gift shop, they have free parking, a bowling alley, and as mentioned a dim sum restaurant called Ping Pang Pong, which I absolutely love. If you are in the area, give Gold Coast Casino a visit. Close to Area 15 and Spring Mountain Road aka the Chinatown of Las Vegas, this place is a gem among many gems in Vegas.Parking: FreeRecommendations: the gift shop, bowling alley & dim sum restaurant, Ping Pang Pong.

This place is pretty sad. We stayed here only because the room was comped. This place is very dated and reminds me of one of the casinos in Reno. When we got to our room the bathroom window was opened and the sink looked like someone had been smoking and used it as an ashtray. I tried to call and complain but was kept on hold for too long for me to care and talk to someone. I was only saying for the night and I'm sure this wouldn't have been their first complaint of the evening. The morning before checking out I decided to do a workout in my room since they never opened the gym at 6am and as I moved the stool my the chair I noticed house keeping hadn't vacuumed under it. Giving it 2 stars was very generous but only because the room was comped.

Fun Casino! Not huge but with free parking, off strip & reasonable tables, this is a good spot for all including locals! Restaurant options are plentiful! Haven't tried them all but Ping Pang is good!Have fun strolling through this casino. Loved the gift shop especially for the personalized dice they have by the cashiers! Fun present !

I know this hotel is affiliated with the Boyd's property but this particular one is very bad .From customer service to their pit bosses ,and the workers on the crap tables .I think that's where all the dealers and workers train because it's a slower Casino .I'll give you example when playing dice and your the shooter (dice roller) the worker passes the dice to another person . Also when getting pay off from your winning they pass the money to another player cmon now ! I can keep going on and on .I would give them 1 star but actually I made a little money lol

Meh. Noting special whatsoever, but not the worst place in town. Was giving 3 stars but had to downgrade to 2 due to the nickel and diming.Pros: clean enough room, free parking with easy access. Cons: (1) no coffee or tea in room, and when I called the front desk to ask about it, the man was very short with me. Come on. This is America. Coffee in the room is standard and I'm not out of line to ask. (2) the daily resort fee. People, this is definitely not a resort. It's just a hotel. The fee is a ruse to get more money without calling it the room rate. I'm really looking forward to the time when it's illegal for hotels to do this because it really feels like a bait and switch, and the room just isn't worth the additional cost. Especially when the front desk is staffed by condescending employees who literally couldn't care less what you might need or want.(3) the room carpets could be cleaned a little more often. Better yet, get rid of the carpet. (4) charged me for hot water. Nice touch, if their goal is to let you know how much they value your business as a guest.

I only come here for my husband's bowling league games and I always enjoy myself. The food is good and their alcoholic beverages are great. Never seen the hotel part but the casino is pretty nice and has a few restaurants located throughout. There is also free parking for those wondering!

I just love hitting the casino and bowling a few games . It's the perfect combo of excitement and friendly competition. There's nothing like the thrill of a strike after a big win (or even a near miss!). Plus, the casino always has a great atmosphere, especially on weekends. I'm heading there now.

# 219.SERVICE & TRANSITIONS -- $40 early check-in fee before 1pm, no exceptions (sometimes they quote 130???). Oof. Hospitality is not as strong as marketed online; dry personalities for receptionists while management & training felt inconsistent. The security guards on the other hand... really liven the place up! I wish they worked the front desk instead.Self-checkin is unreliable for certain names (i.e. hyphenated).Lobby signage reads "no smoking" but it's permitted everywhere else on the gaming floor so the general odor is unpleasant.Elevators are frustratingly slow.MVP employees: Security guardsROOM (Deluxe King, Deluxe two Doubles) -- https://youtu.be/X5IkgYNkKyMhttps://youtu.be/IMGwvg6GBGAOnline pictures represent the room poorly due to the dreadful lighting & unusual rectangle layout.In-person the vibe felt like classic Vegas with modern stock.Functionally it's very straightforward; more of a pit stop than relaxing accommodation.Housekeeping was in rare form, kicking the DnD signs around. Please retire these dirty cut outs .BED -- Mattresses was firm & in good condition, unlike the linens.Bed sheets were a drag due to the unpleasant texture + holes. They strategically covered these with a throw blanket at least...Pillows felt hollow & wrong-sized, providing 0 neck support.BATH -- Small dimensions with an uninspired design. It's hard to utilize a lengthy vanity, the best feature, due to limited space. The shower experience was ok: Pretty tile work, good water pressure, & average towels (not fluffy). Unlabeled shower products are provided... use at your own risk.No exhaust system so remember to open that tiny window!TV/ENTERTAINMENT/ACTIVITIES-- in-room: a dated TV solution; no auxiliary functionality or accessibility due to the wall mount. Dusty & counterproductive. Half the time errors pop up on the TV.Gaming:The new layer reward program incentives were ... depressing: $20 off +60, $10 off +50 food. Prices aren't even listed on the Cornerstone menu, so there's always a gimmick or catch to these. The Palms Casino is right across the street with MUCH better perks, especially for Californians.Table games & slots were abundant. Always lively-- the polar opposite of Virgin Hotels vibe. Despite the poor reward program, this IS one of the best casinos to play at.WI-FI & CELL RECEPTION -- bad. Free WI-FI in the public space is noticeably congested. It can take minutes to even connect initially. Too much hassle for a measly 5mbps.The premium offering, 15mbps, is $15 USD. Overpriced & disingenuous (the Palms offers 40 Mbps for $9.99 next door).Cellular performance is equally bad, despite a direct line of site to a cell tower from the room. Pressing up against the window is your best bet for reception.--Performance--Video streaming - badOnline gaming - badVideo chatting - bad --Nerd Stats--4-5 Mbps download 4-5 Mbps upload0% packet loss33 ms latency35 ms jitterFOOD & DRINK -- Poor. Not DoorDash friendly.$15 for a breadless subway sandwich... oof. There are a variety of cuisines on the casino floor: American sandwiches, Western Chinese fusion, etc, but wait times for takeout insufferable even when ordering ahead.Half the vending machines are "cash only". The other half are "no cash accepted"... smfh.in-room: microwave (mini) mini-fridge (small) coffee tea wet-bar mini-barNOISE -- Generally pleasant during my multiple stays, YMMV. The walls are awkwardly thin though, even for casual convos.Housekeeping's chismé made it difficult to sleep during turnover-- good luck nursing that hangover!LOCATION -- Minutes from the strip with convenient self-park + valet.Multiple entrances make it a bit confusing for rideshare/food delivery.Security presence is great & they're friendly, much more than the receptionist.RECOMMENDATIONWas it worth it: No. Best part: Gaming. Aggressively mediocre as a hotel with lazy housekeeping. Resort fees are greedy & disingenuous, lacking the "amenity" needed most: functional WiFi.Would not return to the hotel, but would recommend the casino for table games.2/5 @mrstaycation

I usually go to Stations Casino Bingo when I play, but was in this neighborhood to get my vehicle tinted, so instead of sitting at the tint shop for hours I figured what's a better way to spend the next few hours, so I came to Gold Coast.I parked in self parking which is quite a ways away walking distance through the casino to get to the bingo room which is on the 2nd floor. The bingo hall was a pretty typical room, not enclosed between smoking and non smoking, and on the 2nd floor which isn't ideal for diasbled persons or the elder. All in all I did enjoy the sessions I played, the employees were extremely nice and welcoming.

I'd stay here again. Great location to Highway, strip and west side of valley. Lots of food around. Walgreens nearby if you need.
