Several years ago, I was not a huge wine person even after attempting to try different brands of them. But after my trip to Europe over the summer, where I did a ton of wine tastings, I am now interested in trying out all the wine rooms/wineries in town!We stopped at Garagiste after our trip to Crafthaus next door, where they are located on the corner of California Avenue and Casino Center Blvd., directly across the street from Tacotarian. Every time we did our barhopping adventures in the Arts District, we would be around this area later in the night, but Garagiste would be closed by then. But since we got here earlier, we finally got a chance to try them out.We were given a menu once we sat down. When we noticed that they did wine flights, we decided to try their white wine flight. This flight consisted of three white wines originating from three different countries, which were Greece, Germany, and the United States. Their respective names were Skouras, Donnhoff, and Massican.I ended up trying the Donnhoff one first, since I have a little bit of German in me. In all honesty, I rank this as one of my favorite wines from here. My boyfriend's favorite was the Massican. Overall, all the white wines that we tried here were really good. I want to come back next time to try the Donnhoff by the glass since I liked it so much. Oh yeah, they also have a sweet membership that you can purchase! Only four wines a month for just $199 plus tax. Plus, don't forget to sign their guestbook after paying your tab!For the wine lover in anyone, I recommend Garagiste!

Solid spot. Really chill. Big bar. Tons of European options. Great music and vibes. Was a few other people here but not too busy or anything. They have snacks (meat cheese) but we just stuck with wine flights and really enjoyed. Not sure if they have happy hour but I'm guessing not. Overall awesome spot to come for some wine and relax.

If there was ever a wine bar to visit in Vegas, this would be the establishment. I've been here a few times since it's a rare treat of a visit being in Downtown LV, but it's always a good spot for my "wine down" moments. I wanted to specifically give some love to the establishment and their crew for making my most recent birthday an amazing one to remember. I reached out via their website's contact form, asking about their hosting options for a large group. Had great communication with them throughout my inquiry. Honestly don't know if time periods matter, so prospective and loyal guests should always reach out to the establishment for their own inquiries - I'm only sharing my experience. Was informed that a private room was available for my party, which could sit 10 guests comfortably, and I thought that'd be perfect with a rotation of guests (coming and going when they please). The minimum spend for that private space was $500 (excludes tax and gratuity), and I was also able to bring in food from outside of the business for my guests. My group ended up being about 13 people total *INSERT NERVOUS GIGGLE* We all were still able to have a comfortable and great experience with bottles of wine to sip and share throughout the party, which was a little over 2.5 hours. For a good amount of our guests, this was their first experience at the establishment, and they were thoroughly impressed with the variety of wine available. Every selection the Garagiste team recommended went nicely with our pizza and cake. For my group that's never been to a wine bar before this party... Garagiste set a very high standard for future experiences in and outside of the establishment. One of my uncles appreciated that there was a variety of beer options available to order, and said the location was perfectly chosen beside other local establishments in Downtown. My husband and I appreciated the level of courtesy and attentiveness to our party, giving us space to enjoy the company of our guests, and occasionally checking on our party for drink replenishments and clean glasses. You all were so considerate and polite - we appreciated the hospitality =D I was worried at one point that we wouldn't hit our minimum, but was told that we could order bottles to go to make it ;D Score! I got enough bottles (some faves from dinner) for the rest of Lent! Might even get to bring a few unopened bottles to Easter dinner. Thanks again to Garagiste for the awesome experience(s)!

This is a really neat wine bar to chill and hangout out at whether it's with friends or on a date. It's tucked in the corner but close by to many other restaurants and bars in the area. I wish I knew about this place while waiting for my dinner reservation so I could've waited here instead. You just sit at any seat at the bar area or table and somebody will come take your order. There's an extensive menu of red and white wines to choose from. Although there's a set wine flight on the menu, you're also able to assemble your own flight from the list as long as it's not from the bottle list which is what I did and love about this place. Come check this place out if you're in the area!

Cool spot for a nice glass of wine. Service and great and ambiance was nice. Loved that I was able to explain what I was looking for and he suggested a nice sweet Moscato, a nice pre dinner selection.

This is the wine shop you have been looking for I'm from SoCal, lived in NYC, and this is the only spot in Vegas that will give you the cozy "wine shop" feeling you have been looking for. Good selection and Taylor gives amazing recommendations. Felt so welcome. I'll be back weekly. Drink the PetNat.

Enjoyed a wine flight tasting. Referred to by a local while visiting a restaurant for breakfast. Service outstanding. In preference of taste maybe needed more options for complexity and refinement. But overall a good experience.
