Frijoles & Frescas

We go to this place over cafe rio and chipotle when looking for a fast food Mexican spot . It's always fresh, ambient noise is low and great for conversation. Several seating options, but can be packed during peak dinner time.I grab a side of limes with my order and the green sauce is more my speed over the red.Pro tip: when ordering nachos, get chips on the side to keep them crunchy instead of soggy. I get the Al pastor regularly.Steak Burritos are a solid choice as well.Enjoy!

They reached out to me and asked for my email, they sent a gift card to me to makeup for their error and hopes to have us return.Went in and placed a to go order. Ordered two burrito combos, a taco combo and street taco combo, gave us 4 bags of chips with salsa and we specifically ordered beans. The street taco was ordered with no pico de gallo that was not put in the bag. Three drinks were upgraded to fresca. I really shouldn't have to unpack the bags and open each foil packed item to insure the order is complete and accurate. I called and spoke to Diana, she said "just come back and we will give it to you". I told her I wasn't driving on a Friday evening at peak traffic to fix their mistake. I told her I will go back the next time I'm in the area and have them refund me for the combo. We went early specifically to avoid the traffic and get dinner for my daughter who just had a baby to make things easy for her and it was her meal that didn't get packed up. This used to be a regular spot that we got food from but the food isn't the same quality that it used to be and the employees just don't care to provide good customer service. Spent close to $80.00 for take out which I wouldn't mind paying if it was good but have gotten disappointed more with each visit. Not worth my gas or time.

I was craving a burrito so tried this place. Compared to other Mexican places to eat, I wouldn't consider this place "authentic" but it's tasty. Portions are small so maybe order a few things if you're hungry.

Go to Mexican food! It's a bit pricey but I feel you get your moneys worth with their food. They don't skimp on the ingredients and it's always fresh. Tacos are amazing and love their shrimp cocktail and ceviche. Service is good, as expected for a quick Mexican spot.

Have y'all gone to the new Frijoles and Frescas on Pebble and Durango?If you have please share your thoughts. I went today and it was -1/10.I was so excited to hear they were opening a Frijoles & Frescas l (Durango and Pebble).I finally went today and it was dog ! The lady who took my order was rude, she said "just one moment" I said "no worries, take your time". She came back, I looked down at my phone for a sec to see my husband's response to whether or not he wanted beans. She said "are you ready or not" .I ordered an Asada burrito, an asada salad and a large sandia aqua Fresca. Went home..... the salad is disgusting. The salad is 99.9% welted lettuce, the tomatoes are white, the steak is dry/ burned and the dressing is watery with 0 flavor. My husband said his burrito is mush and that's what he'd imagine dog tasted like. 36.00 for trash!!!!!!! I use to love this place and I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. The tall bald guy who preps the plates and brings it out was the most pleasant part of my visit. It's nice inside, but was empty; I didn't want to judge by that because it's 105 out, but yeah.

I stumbled into this restaurant after taking a walk while my car was in the shop down the street. I was immediately into it, because I love a good Fresca, and this place did not disappoint. They had a variety of flavors, some of which I need to go back to try. This time I opted for the Mango, and it was amazing. so fresh, and a ton of flavor, that I thoroughly enjoyed. I also got a salad with their chicken, and it was great. I loved the cilantro dressing that it came with. It was a good portion too. The service was great, I tried to get up to grab my food but the staff was so nice and brought it to me instead. Definitely a nice casual vibe, but I can't wait to return!

This is our go-to Mexican restaurant. We've been here at least 15 times. It's always consistently hot, fresh and served quickly. The tacked are the best ones I've ever had from a restaurant. It's a nice interior space too! Their drinks are very good and they offer a huge variety of frescas.

This place is OK but the most part they always get my order wrong and that's for sure. Their phone call service never works. This place does put a bad taste in my mouth, but their food puts a good taste. Lol. Their corn is really good. Other than that that's honestly about all I like. Again it's really hard to get a hold of these guys. Sometimes their website doesn't work to place orders but when I try to call in advance, the line is always busy. I can never get through by then I just honestly give up. I've tried this place like three times Like I said the corn is always really good. I try to give a place more than one chance to try their food, maybe something may be good on the menu, but yeah, I will definitely not be going back here either, but like I said, I would definitely recommend their corn.

I ordered the mini tacos which basically street tacos, it's double tortilla with protein, onion, and cilantro. This is very close to authentic street tacos from Mexico. The seasoning was spot on! They even fry the tortillas a bit. Very very delicious.
