While hanging out at the nearby Sweet Talk, we saw the signage for Fortune. It appears that Fortune took over the The Noodle Man Spot and also controls the Chubby Boy BBQ side as well. You can enter from the parking lot through the one glass door (which used to the be The Noodle Man entrance) or through the general entrance passing by Sweet Talk, Souperb Wagyu Hot Pot & Grill and Tbaar (which I believes goes by another name now). They offer dim sum during the day, as dim sum should only be a brunch/lunch item. And they have a very extensive Chinese menu, in addition to Chinese BBQ items. We ran into Debbie N. and she told us about their Lobster Noodles specials that she was picking up that day. We ended returning the following week to try this dish.* Lobster Noodles $26.99 - This is a special limited time item and they guarantee one pound of lobster meat. When I was digging through the shells, some appeared empty but I guess they need to do this so they don't give away too much meat when it's a bigger lobster. The noodles were good too.* Garlic Oysters $19.99 for 6 - This was also a special limited time time. Six large mussels baked with loads of garlic. * Crispy Pork Belly $19.99/lb - It's listed on the menu as "Special Braised Pork Belly" but I like to call it Crispy Pork Belly as it's all about the crispy pork skin. This Chinese menu item is always a winner, and beats how other roasted pigs are made. Their version had a lot of fat, which can be a good or bad thing. They serve it with hoisan sauce too. You do need to get a minimum of a pound when ordering this dish, as we attempted to do half and they wouldn't let us.* Red Bean Sago Dessert - This was a surprise as it's complimentary. It's been a long time since I received a complimentary dessert at a Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas. I'm not the biggest fan of red bean personally, but theirs was enjoyable and a nice sweet treat at the end.Service was very efficient - which the servers even refilling our tea cups. They also tried changing our plates midway, but we didn't need to this time. I appreciate that they offered tea when we sat down as it seems tea has become an extra cost at other Chinese establishments. (Growing up, tea was always offered and complimentary when dining at Chinese restaurants. The only place that used to charge was dim sum restaurants, which is expected.) And they serve a very aromatic Jasmine variety. Nice choice.I would love to return to try out their dim sum, although I don't think they use the carts though. They also have a private room with three tables that can hold about 30 people, give or take.

We went for a friend's birthday. Not quite as busy as most other places in the area. They changed ownership and expanded the dining area since the last time I was here for another birthday. As a big group, I do love that they sit us in the private room without asking. Another great thing about this venue for big group dinners is you don't have to hassle with parking, there's plenty in this plaze compared to others. They also let us bring in a cake and stored it for us. The food is delicious. However, I will say they will try their best to upsell you. So don't get give in if you can help it.... Have a plan before they come take your order and don't be easily swayed by their recommendations/upsell. They did check up on us often to make sure our drinks were refilled and take away any finished dishes. Again the food is pretty good as long as you don't get pressured into ordering extra. That might leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Fortune Chinese Food, the new Cantonese cuisine spot in Chinatown Las Vegas, is a solid addition to the area. The food is decent, with the flavors hitting the right notes for traditional Cantonese dishes. While it may not be the most exceptional in town, the quality and taste are definitely there.Being a new restaurant, it's currently less crowded, which is a bonus for those who prefer a quieter dining experience without long waits. The service is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. Plus, the parking situation is easy and convenient--something that's not always a given on Spring Mountain Road , Chinatown. The only drawback is the pricing, which feels a bit on the higher side compared to similar establishments. While the food and experience are enjoyable, the cost might make it more of an occasional treat rather than a go-to spot.Overall, Fortune Chinese Food is worth checking out, especially if you're looking for good Cantonese flavors with great service in a hassle-free setting.

Fortune! What happened? We loved you when you first opened and a few times after but came back a few times now, and the food quality and quantity went straight to Bad, if not terrible. Extremely hesitant to write this review. The price for our popcorn chicken went up and the quality and the quantity went down. The Salt and Pepper Pork chops was all bones and salty breading. Where was the meat? The house fried rice was basic at best. Just rice and food color. So SAD! Stop being greedy and give your customers the quality you delivered when you first opened. It will be awhile before we come back and will monitor for more positive reviews on yelp. Listen to your loyal customers, we want you to succeed but not willing to keep eating garbage.

Came here for my FILs birthday and didn't have a great experience. Food was decent but the owner was very pushy and tried to upsell us black pepper wagyu instead of just steak cubes. Anyway we had walnut shrimp, lobster noodle, eggplant with garlic sauce, corn egg drop soup and crispy pork. The food was good and not much to complain about but just beware of the service.

This was our first and last time at Fortune. I asked the server to recommend a steamed fish dish, and she kept pushing the live fish. When we asked the price, she said $38 per pound, so we said no. She kept insisting and promised to get a small one since there were only two of us and we had other dishes. When the bill came, the fish alone cost $115! I've ordered steamed fish at many Chinese restaurants and have never paid anything close to that. The waitress was pushy, and the price was ridiculous. We won't be coming back.
