My mom and I love a healthy restaurant, so we decided to finally come in and try Flower Child. We came in on a Monday, around 1230pm, and it was banging! There was a line out the door and not many places left to sit, even outside. Luckily, by the time we ordered, we were able to find a place to sit.The menu is vast but not confusing and not overwhelming. They have a lot of options, even for someone like my husband, who isn't a fan of healthier eating. I told him we could definitely come in with him because they seem to have a lot of options. The place is decorated quite cutely, and I loved the chairs and seating, very comfortable. The tables against the wall with the window to outside are easily pushed together and pulled apart for different sized parties, something I appreciated because I needed to ask someone to split the table in order for us to sit. The outdoor space looks super cute, and I'd love to sit out there on a nice day. They also have a lot of thoughtful service ideas, like having the silverware in a few spots, along with napkins. Also, there were condiments and sweeteners and even to-go boxes waiting for you, so you didn't have to ask for them. I ordered the chicken yakisoba and my mom ordered the avocado Caesar salad with chicken. Both were excellent and I'd order both again. My mom just had water but I got an iced tea. The mango sencha ice tea was perfectly unsweetened and delicious. I also treated myself to the rose petal lemonade for "dessert" as we were leaving. Very good, if not a little sweet.I'm so glad this restaurant opened here and I'm glad it's busy because I do not want it to leave any time soon.
