Flattop's

Writing this review because I had such a great experience with Flattops after I had an issue!I ordered a hot dog, fries and a soda at the food truck for lunch. Given that they came in individual trays, it was not very easy to carry all three + plus the condiments (mustard, ketchup, onion, relish, jalapenos - I only got two of them however - ha!) that they offer in plastic cups. I asked for a bag but unfortunately they do not have any and the gentleman was only able to give another tray to set on top in order to stack them. I tried - but the fries ended up being a casualty and slid off of the additional tray and all over the floor. I returned to the truck and explained the situation and asked for my $4 back for the fries. Without hesitation, the gentleman at the register gave me a refund - he didn't try to disprove my story or argue or anything - he simply made an unhappy customer happy. I returned and finished my Sonoran Dog which was DELICIOUS! Bread was amazingly grilled, the jalapenos and salsa blanco were so delish, and of course, the hot dog and bacon were worth it.I would absolutely eat here again. (My coworkers raved about the milkshakes as well!)

I selected Flat Tops to cater for our school for Staff Appreciation Week. They were accommodating and great to work with. The bacon burger was delicious! I had mixed feelings about the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich as I thought the meat was not moist. Overall loved this food truck!

The burger and fries are delicious - I don't know where else to get these great fries! Good deal too - I am hunting for your food truck Flattop's!

Service was terrible and the owner was rude. Would not recommend this place. Owner was unprofessional

I like the name. They were the tops at falling flat today.FlatTop's is a food truck which I hadn't seen before. They seemed to be making their debut at the annual Sunset Park'd event, and I shared a couple of items off their small menu to share with some friends.Sonoran Dog ($10): quite a delicious dog. They cut it in half before grilling, resulting in plenty of crispy texture and grill/char notes. with pepper jack, pico de gallo, and sauce all adding to the fun. The first problem is that this is way more expensive than what you'd pay for a similarly enjoyable hot dog (likely with larger sausages too) at a sit-down restaurant; the second is the complete lack of the advertised bacon, which would likely have added to the party.Bacon Cheddar Burger ($10): actually, I don't even remember any bacon in this, although my friend claims to have tasted some, so maybe the bacon would've been forgettable in the dog. The bun looked vaguely brioche-y but tasted bland. The burger was dry despite still retaining some pinkness in the middle. The toppings that did end up on the burger were forgettable. You can get a more delicious burger at Carl's Jr. for half the price.Just to be clear, they told us nothing about a lack of bacon availability. Otherwise, I would have tried another menu item or another truck. Barring a rapid expansion of the menu and perhaps a reworking of the price-to-portion ratio, I'll definitely avoid FlatTop's next year.

I lived out of Flattop's for a whole week!!Yes, I did! I was in Las Vegas at the World Market Center for a furniture show in summer 2019. Generally, during this show, the food trucks rotate and you have more food selection.This year it was the same trucks, and I was not disappointed by Flattop's on any of my experiences. The FoodTruck:The truck is red and black; they put a table outside to take your order and process the payments. There are two "pick up your order" windows; one for food and one for shakes. There is a section for sauces, garnishment, bread, drinks, and the produce they use for the burgers on ice.They have a menu with prices and contact information on the truck. The Food:The menu offers burgers, hot dogs, tacos, and fries. They have a vegan option available too. During the 5 days I ate flats, I always ordered the "Classic Burger" burger patty, butter lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and onion strings. It was juicy, and the bread was great. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the ingredients; tomatoes were fresh, and the butter lettuce was bomb. You can add a side of regular fries! Fries are delicious. Thin, crispy, and not greasy (considering).Other day, I had the "American Hot Dog" hot dog link, bread, and option to put onions and relish. The sausage was sliced and cooked in half, the bread was grilled and a little crispy but not hard. It was great! The shakes here are really good. How do they make such a good shake in a truck? I don't know! But I had Vanilla and my husband had chocolate for 3 days mmmm we were addicted! The Service:The staff was friendly and amicable. Orders came out fast. They write your name and call you when your order is ready. By the end of the week, they already knew my name 'cause I ordered here every single day. I recommend this food truck! Thanks for keeping me alive this Las Vegas Market Show! :-)

While looking for a food truck to cater a networking event my brokerage was throwing I came across Flattops, they have several different menu options and I went with the Truck Party menu which was a good mix for 50 people. Rich was quick to get me an estimate and was very easy to communicate and work with. They were very low maintenance and all our guests were please with the food and the menu. They cleaned up their area and left it just like they found it. I would definitely hire them again!

We asked FlatTops to come to our Open house. They agreed and we are so happy. Everyone loved the food. Customer service was awesome and the food was served with a smile - that's big in my book. Our staff and the families were raving about how good it was. Thank you FlatTops!! We hope you will come back to our school again!!

2nd time in a couple of weeks this truck supposed to come to Society Apartments. Well first time they said they had a flat tire, couldn't come. Fine. Tonight, husband went up ordered burger. 10 min later he goes back to window to pick up. Super baked dude (who was busy on his phone most of the encounter) says "oh you ordered?"? Yah like 10 minutes ago! "Gimme 10 minutes". Oh heck no. Gimme my cash back. So much for trying to support a local food truck.

Decent burgers. The chef slammed our food on the counter so that a bunch a fries fell. Too expensive for ok food and shitty service. Do better
