Located in the Eureka family owned casino, this spot is not to be missed in Vegas! The menu is toted as Asian-American Fare and has a nice variety of choices for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. They also have daily specials! We opted for the short rib grilled cheese and the daily special fish and chips! Danielle, our waitress, was awesome. Very friendly and super fast service! The food was amazing! The sandwich was so delicious! The short rib is the perfect amount of salty and sweet, and mixed with the cheese and onion jam, it was perfect! The fish and chips were cooked perfectly and the tartar sauce was excellent. We came in to celebrate my husband's mom's life and legacy. This was her favorite spot and he wanted to share it with me. It meant a lot to him to be able to be there tonight and the great customer service was the icing on the cake. We'll definitely be back.

Came into town for a weekend get away and wanted Chinese food. My brother and I saw fat chow and said why not. Walked into a casino and the restaurant was inside. Checked out the menu and decided to start with spring rolls and a pork boa both were good. But the pork boa was odd never had that before. Brother ordered a wanton soup and it was huge! I ordered a combo fried rice. My rice was ok nothing special kinda bland and only 3 shrimps. Rice 3 outa 10Pork boa 4 outa 10Spring rolls 4 outa 10The high light of the dinner was the waitress Viola she was cool and stayed talking with us for a bit. She has a good energy very lively.

It's an American diner with an Asian inspired menu, but in a casino (in the Eureka) which threw me off when my family and I were trying to find where it was.The atmosphere is laid back, with low bassy music and sports on TV screens. Low lighting to match the casino. We were the only group in the restaurant when we arrived around 3pm. Service was great, and our server was helpful with some questions on the menu, and brought us extra condiments.I got the $5 burger and fries special, which was great, especially for the price! Great fries, and the burger was a solid choice, especially with me adding cheese for a dollar extra. However, the Asian fare was more sub-par. My parents got the wonton soup and the lo-mein. Both were heavy on the soy sauce and not much else flavor-wise came through in either of them and were both very one-note dishes. If I drop by next time, I'll stick to the more American side of the menu.

We traveled off the beaten path again for the Steak and Eggs Gambler's special. In this iteration it was only $6 and it was pretty good. Much better than South Point and does not require a Lion's jaw strength. It's only available from 8AM to 11AM. I wanted to try their lunch menu but it's not served until 11AM.

Fat Choy is an Asian American Diner sort of restaurant located in the Eureka Hotel/Casino by the Strat near the Las Vegas Strip. It's not a fancy place. It looks like an older American Diner. If this restaurant seems familiar to you then you might have seen it on Food Network's Diners Drive Ins and Dives. My husband can eat more than me so he started out by trying the pork belly bao buns. They were pretty darn good. They might have came out missing the crushed peanuts but they still tasted good. Then our main plates came. I had the salmon teriyaki rice bowl. The salmon was slightly over cooked and tasted slightly fishy. I received a generous amount of rice that was embellished with scallions and a teriyaki sauce. I don't know why but it took me back to decades past when I used to eat packaged frozen meals. I didn't enjoy this at all.My husband tried the crispy beef Korean BBQ rice bowl. The beef was not developed in any way with any kind of flavors. But it was prepared like dehydrated beef jerky and was very unpleasant to try to eat. My husband did complain to the waitress about the beef being all dried out and she said just put some sauce on it to moisten it up. The servers seemed nice but the entrees were horrible.

Wow! They have the best pancake. Haven't had a pancake that's just have old school thick & tasty simple pancake. Everything was so delicious. We stopped in for breakfast. I like a side of rice breakfast. It's only served at lunch but they were so kind & served my breakfast with a bowl of rice. My brother in law ordered the French toast. Again, another great dish. It's how the prepared it. Very fluffy. As for rest of our experience.. Excellent service. DDD was spot on for featuring this restaurant.

Heard about this local place in the Eureka Casino and had to go try it. It was a Guy Fieri stop once before and on a chilly night a hearty bowl of wonton noodles really hit the spot! My only complaint is it smelled a little like smoke inside the restaurant but I guess it adds to the character of the location. Our server was fast and very friendly and it was a great experience which I will definitely come back and try the other menu items!

First off I had no idea this casino existed lol but Small hidden gem inside glad I came across it.I was in the mood for some bao but didn't want to wait in super long lines per usual and Fat Choy cameThrough.I ordered the bao trio! Consist tofu, pork belly, and pecking duck! These were so good! Enough to fill me up with a drink on the side. All 3 were flavorful Sauce was just right not too sweet or dominant.Karla and chef Dennis were great! Very hospitable

I was in the area so decided to give another try. Ordered the chili w/cornbread and pork belly bao. Chili came with oyster crackers with no prior notice. Bao was sad. Thin sliced pork belly with just a hoisin sauce. Not mixed with anything. Just hoisin,Server was super unenthusiastic. The rest of the staff looked sketchy as well. What happened to this place?

An episode of Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives brought us here and it did not disappoint. The employees felt like a family and were so fun, they were very attentive and the food came out quickly. The Bao and Grilled cheese were spectacular. We added the tacos because it was "Taco Tuesday" so why not. The ice cream was a nice treat for checking in. Over all a great experience a dinner tucked inside a small casino just off the strip.
