This is a fantastic venue. Great jazz club in Las Vegas. You should definitely check it out. Top notch live jazz. They also have a burlesque show some nights. I highly recommend this place and the level of relent they bring in.

My wife and I enjoyed the music and band. However, the service, drinks and nibble offerings need a major overall. - $16 for Espresso martini w\ no espresso. The stemware is the wrong vessel- $14 for a cheese and meat bites. No crackers or bread for the spreadable cheese on the plate. The olives are no good. This is an easy fix and needs attention. I told the server, but she said I'm sorry to hear this and left it on the bill. This place has so much potential, but won't last if you don't fix the service, drink offerings and food options.

A very cool and laid back bar located at the rear of the Downtown Grand Hotel . The bar has a speakeasy- jazz cool vibe. We stumbled upon Fat Cat LV in the afternoon as we were looking for the snack vending machines at the Grand. I had a refreshing vodka tonic. The friendly bartender said that a small band and vocalist can be heard and enjoyed in the evenings playing something similar to jazz - blues in an Amy Winehouse style. There are cool newspaper clippings and jazzy- blues posters from the depression era to the last mid- century.. a chill ambiance! Small plate appetizers can also be called up and enjoyed. Next time I find myself in Las Vegas, I will stumble upon this place in the evening.

Were you looking for a new genre of hidden gems? I believe the hotel bar is the newest category to become a hot spot. What is typically just a place to use a company per diem or witness a transactional date, is now a place to get a taste of local music and curated drinks. Meet the coolest hotel bar you've ever been to! If I was staying at the Grand and happened upon this place, I'd be so stoked. This is a real treat and such a well thought out venue. If you want a taste of what local Vegas can do, this is the spot.Live music, burlesque, other local entertainers, and just some great bar selections it doesn't get any better. This is the same owner as Red Dwarf and if you know the beer scene here, you know that Russel didn't slack on the beer list. The atmosphere is cool, curated, and welcoming. I'll be keeping an eye on their show list, can't wait to go back

I loved this place. The singer and band were fantastic!! The cocktails were delicious and they have several options. My favorite was the Naked in Manhattan. They even had a seasonal drink menu too. The food is a bit underwhelming, it literally is just snacks, but it was good. We essentially got breadsticks with a yummy garlic balsamic vinegar sauce. Once you sat at the table the server came just enough to make sure we were good but not in a way that was annoying. I will definitely return. I loved sitting there and listening to the music. For some bands they do have a $5 cover fee you pay before going inside.

Live music and great drinks make Fat Cat and easy pick for a night out. The service is good, we just went up to the bar for our drinks. The seating is okay - it's a small intimate space. The music was a little on the loud side because it is live so it makes conversation a bit of a challenge but as long as you know what you are going into - the evening will be a blast.

Great bands and the bartender was fantastic! It has an easy access exit so you don't have to walk all the way through the casino. Love it!

So I feel like this is going to be an unfair review because I actually didn't go during the time where it was up and running, I came when they were basically just opening so there really wasn't a live band in music. I feel like it deserves another chance!I love any spot that does jazz and a live fashion and this was it. It's an old Vegas so you have to go through the Grand hotel to get to it if you want to stay on the inside but it's definitely worth it. The bar has a lot of older things there like vinyls and things like that on the wall for decorations which is pretty cool. I had a few drinks, to drinks are somewhat reason to be priced so don't worry about that. But I feel like it would have definitely shined if it had been night time and they had had a band but they only have music on certain time. So you kind of get what you get. But, it is a old school jazz club kind of vibe to it, so you'll definitely enjoy it if you're into that! So because of the good customer service and the description of the place and the drinks in the camaraderie that was formed with the bartenders, I'm still going to give it a really decent score but I really need to see the music so I have to put that on my list of things to do but I'm looking forward to it.

We were staying at the grand for the weekend and came across this little hideaway bar inside our hotel. I love the ambience to this bar. We actually came here twice. Once the first night then the second night they had a band playing on stage. This bar is owned by a local so we fully support it!! So the drinks made here are sooooo goood. They are very minimal is beer selection but we managed. We wanted to come again for New Year's Eve but it was closed. We'll be back again though in the future because it was well worth it:) enjoy my pics!!
