The reason for the two stars is because now as a wedding cake place in Las Vegas I would think that you should deliver wedding cakes regardless of if it's a weekend expecially seeing that weddings here in Vegas could be taking place at any time or day, but I did call here inquiring about wedding cakes and they don't deliver on the weekends because they're too busy was there respond. As a business that WEDDING is in your title you should really consider looking into doing delivery any day regardless of your work load.People don't wanna trust something as important as the cake to being picked up by anybody...so that is the reason for the two stars.

I was very nervous and just hoped for the best.Well, it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and could not of been any better. The young man that delivered the cake was the nicest and most helpful person a bride could ask for.The cake not only looked beautiful but was amazing in taste.I would HIGHLY recommend any nervous bride to order and feel confident.Thank you so much Fantasy Wedding Cakes for everything!!!!!!!!!

I have never been here, but I called about cake tastings and they said they don't do it. How do you buy a wedding cake without knowing what the cakes there taste like? Oh well. However, the person on the phone was very nice about this bakery not offering that.

I'm surprised that there aren't more reviews for this wonderful bakery. I was extremely nervous about the details of my wedding, since it was a long distance "destination" wedding in Vegas (we live in NYC, but this was a real wedding, not an elopement), I was anxious about choosing businesses without being able to see their services first hand. Well, I could not have asked for a better wedding cake.It was delivered promptly to the restaurant with no hitches. It was beautifully decorated (much prettier in person than on the website), a lovely modern cake with fresh flowers. I chose the coconut cake with amaretto filling, buttercream frosting and fondant, with pink ribbons and pink roses. It wasn't just beautiful, it also tasted scrumptious and very moist (unlike most wedding cakes, which tend to be dry and tasteless). Fantasy Wedding Cakes was also much more affordable than Freeds. If I were to have gone with Freeds, I would have been limited to the "Brides on a Budget" section, filled with tacky, old fashioned icing roses....not the choice for a modern cake, that's for sure.

The cake turned out great but lousy customer service and it arrived late. People have enough to worry about on their wedding day.

I ordered my cake months in advance, chose one of the pictures in the gallery as is (no changes), and paid months in advance. I kept in constant contact before the date of my event to ensure my cake was going to be made correctly, and delivered on time. Each time I was assured no problems. Day of my wedding, cake was supposed to be delivered to the hotel restaurant at 12:15pm. My wedding was at 1:00pm. Guests arrived to the reception area around 1:30pm, my husband and I arrived around 2:00/2:30pm. When I arrived, there was no cake. My father and maid of honor missed 80% of my reception attempting to contact the bakery on the phone in regards to where my cake was. They got multiple answers - 1) cake is on it's way 2) cake delivered to another hotel....you told us wrong hotel.... 3) We don't have any record of your order and the best of all 4) no answer on phone at all. After no response, the hotel we were at offered to have their chef wrestle up a wedding cake as quickly as possible for 1/2 price ($150). This was on top of the $425 we spent for my cake that did not arrive. At the end of the reception, a cake arrived from fantasycakes but it was not the cake I had picked out/planned/dreamed of/etc. Flavors were what I had chosen but the decorations were completely different and I was not happy with it. Because the cake arrived so late, half of my guests missed the cutting, including my mother who was completely unhappy with that. After everything was packed up and we were exiting, in arrived the 2nd wedding cake we paid for due to thinking we were not going to get my original cake, and we needed SOMETHING to cut and for my guests to eat. On our way home days later, the owner of the bakery called and said the original cake was in an accident on the blvd and they had to remake it very quickly and re-deliver. I understand accidents happen, but why did my father and maid of honor have to spend the entire reception on the phone trying and failing to get this answer? Had we known my cake was going to be delivered late, we would not have spent the money on another wedding cake that went to waste. I am satisfied that my cake price was refunded; however, unfortunately, the damage was done that cannot be repaid: Father missing the reception he paid for, mother missed the cutting of the cake, and all of my pictures show a cake I did not pick out or like. Other than that, I must say, the cake did taste amazing..I'll give them that. The cake taste and the fact that I got an apology and a refund is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Had I received MY cake ON TIME, I strongly believe my rating would have been 5 stars. Also, this was not recent, this was back in 2010, so perhaps their customer service has improved...I hope so. I really hate to give bad reviews but I just wanted to be honest with my experience. They say something usually always goes wrong with a wedding, I guess my cake fiasco isn't the worst that could happen so I'm lucky.
