Came across this cool place on tik tok & had to check it out. Super easy to get to from parking. Park in the red part of the garage & it's super easy to get to! Super cute free museum about Mexico. I loved every part of it. Would do it again. The staff were amazing. Very very nice & welcoming. The restaurant & bar area were yummy. Drinks on point & food was delicious. Tortillas were a little hard on the edges, but other than that delicious. Loved the different salsas they provided as well. All in all, super cute place to check out & FREE. Highly recommend.

The museum is free! Park near Forever21.This was such a neat experience to take my 15 month old to.. The fireflies show at the beginning was so relaxing, and the immersive art was fun to explore in all the different rooms. We couldn't believe it was a free experience. We came around 2:30pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too packed.

I had so much fun experiencing this place during the holidays. I had seen some pictures on Stephany V's IG page and knew I had to come and check it out.I love that this venue was FREE at the time. I am not sure if it still is but in December 2024 it was. I was greeted by a friendly staff member and then immediately directed to enter a dark room and wait for the show to begin. Once inside it was only a few minutes before these lights begin to move with music. It kind of reminded me of being in the Infinity Mirror room that Yayoi Kusama created. The light show was very short and then you moved into the next room. The theme was titled Colors of Mexico celebrating the beauty and culture of the country of Mexico. Being of hispanic heritage I loved every room. Each room was so creative and colorful and I believe there were seven rooms to explore. One could not help but feel good. You were allowed to spend as much time as you wanted in each room and so many wonderful photo opportunities. I really enjoyed myself. In addition to all the artistic rooms they offer, there is bar serving drinks and they also offer small plates of food. I did not have time to partake. It appears from other reviews that the theme and the rooms change from year to year or maybe more often. I was glad I took the time to come and enjoy this creative place and I appreciated how kind the staff were. The location is inside the Fashion Show Mall on the first level. Check it out!

I went to see the Mexican Exhibit and didn't eat any of the food from the restaurant. When I saw that this was a free self guided exhibit I decided to check it out. This exhibit was so visually stunning with all the beautiful colors and light projections. Definitely an Instagram photo opportunity if you're into that. The quality of the artwork and the information that was given through this exhibit was amazing, I'm shocked that it was free. All the staff during the exhibit were friendly and helpful. When we were exiting the exhibit they had a love tester machine and one that gave horoscopes which are always a fun experience. What made it even better was that the staff gave you coins to try it for free.

First of all this is a FREE event so I'm not sure why I've read posts were people have mentioned having to pay for this or not paying to go again????? Also there is NO tour guide. You don't even need to buy any food or drinks @ their restaurant to get into this attraction. I just went on 01/19/2025 around 1330-1400. See my photos' for updated hours as they're not correct on Yelp. You will need to ask where to go to get inside of this attraction as there are no signs for it. We had to wait in a small area before we could enter the 1st room. There was a man here who had told us when we were allowed to go inside & opened the door for us. He also told us to have a seat once we were in this room with a bunch of hanging small lights. He instructed us when this room was done to enter out of the EXIT door which takes you to the rest of the attraction. This first room is so nice & calming (besides the young toddler who kept yelling out). It's dark with a bunch of light strips hanging down that turn on & off. Its easy on the eyes, nothing EDC like & there is soft, relaxing music that plays to the lights blinking on & off. It is dark in here & they do have small, attached to the floor stools to sit on that turn. I didn't time this room but it was maybe 3-5 minutes long then you get up & go into the next room on your own. There were no time limits on each room nor was there a tour guide taking us thru the rooms. You pretty much go @ your own pace. Lots of cool things in each room to look @ & plenty of photo opps. It is short as I was surprised when we entered back to where we started. There is another room in the back of the restaurant, across from the restrooms so don't forget to check that room out. It kinda looks like a maze with mirror like walls. There is also another photo opp before this room. Outside of this attraction is a counter with stuff you can purchase. They don't take cash, credit card only. I picked up this cute magnet with the name of this place on it for only $13.00 which I thought was a good deal. Only thing is when I got home & took it out of the bag I noticed that the paint on one of the cat's eyes was chipped off. My friend didn't get a receipt & who knows when I will ever be @ the Fashion Show Mall to go in here & exchange it so I think I'm stuck with it. I never heard of this place, my friend happened to see it on IG and of course I came onto Yelp to read about it & check out the reviews. Definitely a place to go & check out.

The experience- 5/5. It's free btw.The food- 2.5/5My cousin recommended that we try this place, she promised me the kids would have fun. And they did- loads of it!! The theme was colors of Mexico and it was a feast for the eyes. There were almost 6 different rooms with different themes- one with lights with strings to dance like fireflies, one with a huge wall sized screen with reflecting sides which amplified the images like a beautiful kaleidoscope, one with a maze like structure with fun quotes on glass walls forming the maze. Entry to this experience is free, it's not mandatory to buy food at their cafe later but we were hungry so we had lunch as well. We ordered quesadillas, chips and salsa and some entrees. One of the salsas was under seasoned, one was way too spicy. Rice was overcooked and the beans were undercooked. The chicken tinga was too gamey. Overall, pretty bad food. I would suggest buying the Mexican souvenirs they have to support them instead of the food as the experience is free.

Fantasy Lab - Colors of Mexico is a unique experience, located inside of the Fashion Show Mall. The decorative maze has multiple exhibits that were colorful, picturesque and filled with selective music and visuals. My entire family really enjoyed the attraction and we probably spent about 30 minutes taking it all in. It's not too overstimulating for littles, but be mindful as there are a variety of colors, sounds and visuals to experience as you walk through each section. The first exhibit is pitch black until the the show starts. Unfortunately, I don't think their menu offers anything vegan, so that's what brings down my rating. The staff was super friendly, and I can't wait to go back! If there was an option to donate $5-10, I would totally do that next time, as this was a FREE experience. I don't live nearby, but it's definitely worth checking out, as it was impressive enough for me to return sooner than later.

This review is just for the visual experience, we did not go to the restaurantOverall? Let me just say this, how is this free? Seriously, my wife and I kept asking each other the same thing as we walked through the display. It's insane that something this cool doesn't cost a dime. The whole thing is broken into different sections, each one seamlessly leading into the next, creating a string of memorable moments that feel like they were tailor made to blow your mind, for freeWe brought our young daughter along, and while she enjoyed it, let's be honest, we were way more into it than she was. This is one of those rare things that's absolutely worth going out of your way for. You're not gonna regret it

This is a FREE exhibit. They only ask you to donate and buy food or drinks afterward but it's not required. That being said the current theme I visited was Mexico and the topic of death. I know it sounds weird but it's not so much as they respect death as a part of life. It's explained when you walk through the exhibit. They have some neat statues and light displays here. I can't explain it fully. You just have to experience this place to understand. I heard this Fantasy Lab was a different exhibit previously. So it sounds like this place changes up its exhibits.
