I have been coming to this store since 2012. It was under different owners and different locations (all on Rainbow), but the fact that i have bee buying staff there 10 years explains everything. Store offers a food from Eastern Europe, so if you want to try food from that part of the world just come in. They really have great choice of everything (spices, cookies, chocolate, crackers, snacks, jelly, vegetable spreads.....)Some people might not know but they also have a nice variety of vegan deserts and cookies. All the labels are on English no worries.

Very large store with lots of items, the majority is Eastern European. There is also a smoke shop in the end. They have meat deli but no cheese or other items in a deli, only in fridges. I came for my favorite cheese which is the Bulgarian white cheese but they have that only pre packaged. Prices are good. They have more than some other European stores around town when it comes to cookies and candies. Glad I visited and found a few items I like.

Heard about this market from a friend. I ventured in looking for a specific brand of sardines. They were out of them but the lovely Julia placed an order for me and I'll be back next week to pick them up. I settled on a few other items which reflected my Hungarian heritage. It was so cool to see a few items that I remembered from my childhood. I didn't realize that the shop extended in another direction after viewing some pictures on other Yelp reviews so I'll make sure to check it out when I go back next week. Lovely market. Definitely recommend.

Sandwiches are all $6.99 (even though the menu says $4.99). The price revamp means that their sandwiches are now bigger than before also. Carry Boars Head products in addition to several more specialized brands (names sound like they specialize in European deli meats. Deli is in the back of the store, store sells pantry groceries, has a small Eastern European cheese section, and also deals lots of odds and ends. Pipes, hookahs, incense, piercing jewelry, decorative knives (maybe they're not just decorative?) , regional coffee (I bought a strong Turkish blend), and chocolates among other stuff !

Being in a medium-large sized city in the States means we have considerable access to rad markets that specialize in regional foods from across the world. How cool, right? I always try to check out these markets to see if I can grab some foods/drinks that I haven't been exposed to.Upon walking into this market, I was surprised to see how large it was. High ceilings were decorated with flags from numerous countries. I had the sense that it was family run; a humorous young lady ran the registers while her mother sweetly joked with her. I loved this play-full atmosphere. The market had lots of European candies, dried and jared foods, and a deli in the back. I wasn't in the position to purchase perishable foods, and have been trying not to eat anything too preserved. Therefore, I head to the alcohol section (I mean, where else, right?)I love checking out all the different lagers and Heffenwieser beers. I also grabbed a bottle of red wine. The beers were tasty as to be expected. It is kinda hard to mess up a simple beer, but I love to simply try new things. I was worried if the wine would be spoiled; however, at about $15 for a bottle, the wine I had was lovely. Another review said they have sandwhiches? Didn't see that, but I will look out next time.

This European market is a new find for me- I usually just take my business to Jones Market but love to stumble upon and explore other options around town. Heads up that this place does not have a produce section, but they make up for it by having a deli with sandwiches baked goods. Exterior needs some work- appears to be a generic convenience store. Inside there are several rows and a few refrigerated sections, the aforementioned deli and a dine-in seating area, a ton of sweets/baked goods, and a large section of alcohol/wines and smoking paraphernalia/products. Staff is laid back, store is clean. Highly recommend the deli section- they have a bomb Italian sando, as well as a really good turkey BLT option that's great with mozzarella. The meats and cheeses are cut to order. Baked goods include breads (day-old for as low as TWENTY CENTS) as well as sweets (giant cupcakes for under $2). Pricing is good, selection is decent.

I actually found this place on a fluke. I stopped by the good year to get my tires re inflated with nitrogen and was hungry and did a quick yelp search and saw this place. I walked in and was NOT impressed. LOL It just looked like your average gas station store until you walked in further and started to really look around. They have the Milka brand chocolates from Europe. A friend of mine introduced them to me and I have been in love ever since. Now I have a quick spot to get them. Yay!! Yummy in my tummy! =)Sandwiches are all made with Boar's Head Meat and Cheese! And they are not shy about piling on the meat. I've had the sandwiches on their ciabatta and normal hoagie bread and both a awesome! The ciabatta had a good crust and the hoagie had a great chew throughout. They were both great compliments to the meat. (5/5) for both sandwiches. Why the -1 star? They have baklava which I LOVE but it was not your traditional one which they did not specify and it was soupy. . .and it was ok but not what I was expecting. So that was -.5. Now the other -.5 was for this Kreatopita kind of thing. They called it something else but it was ground meat wrapped up in phyllo. The phyllo was slightly still raw in the center. =( I was able to bake it more and it was delicious BUT they should make sure that all their pastries are full baked before selling it to their customers. Other then that, they did have a nice selections of other european style pastries and eurpean style goodies. I will definitely be back to get another sandwich and to do a little shopping. =)

I came here on a Sunday and they were about to close. I asked them when they would open again and if they carried Euro Max cereal. The young man confirmed they carried the cereal and allowed me to purchase the cereal before closing the store. I was so impressed by his kindness.
