Everything was so amazing.. food was so good.. very large plates. Our server was very awesome Mayra you rock. We definitely will be coming back again and again. We had the chilaquilles, the pazole, and the kids had slider plates. Really worth every cent and not expensive at all.

Came to this small mom's and pops restaurant. My husband was craving menudo. They serve daily As you walk in the ambiance is very much a Hispanic warm feel. However once inside waiting for our order to be taken was a little disappointing took a whileI, they did apologize for the wait, so at least they are aware, I will say our dinks were served as we were seated. I love cafe de Olla this one was to sweet for my taste I would definitely use a different cup to serve the cafe de Olla its aluminum style was hot to even sip and hold, had to wait for it to cool down ( warm coffee ) The food was good I got a basic breakfast with biscuits and gravy was good. My husband enjoyed the menudo and he is picky! The breakfast options are vast.

Oh boy....So in all honesty, I hadn't looked online prior to going here and actually I didn't even realize that this place had 2 locations. I was only familiar with the one I've seen at the Green Valley location. Passed it many times and thought about going there on numerous occasions. I finally pulled the trigger in going here but maps directed me to their Tropicana location. No biggie. I found out later that the menus are about the same between the two.Anyway, enough rambling. First impression prior to going here is I thought I was going to a diner-esque spot that serve breakfast fare and burgers. Upon being seated and greeted with chips and salsa before ordering, I was completely confused and ended up swaying to order something different than intended as probably 50-60% of their menu was Mexican. So...what the heck, let's order some Mexican then!My wife and I arrived around 1:30pm-ish. The place was pretty much dead except maybe a party of two besides. The server service was great. The server was even nice enough to help take a picture of us sitting at the booth!I ordered the 2 steak taco plate which also comes with beans and rice (at the affordable price of $13.99) and my wife ordered the steak ranchero ($23.99). We did ask for some minor subs to our order. Due to health reasons, I asked for no rice but requested more beans and my wife no beans but more rice.TBH, for me, my food was just....meh. Very lackluster. The tacos were just regular shmegular tacos. I will say the flavor of the steak was good but everything else tanked. The meat and tortillas was dry. The meat also had quite a bit of gristle which I found disappointing. The extra portion of beans I requested in place of the rice wasn't given either. Luckily, I had enough beans to put in my tacos to allow the slide of ease of the dry tortilla and meat. For the price point, I found this to be rather unfortunate, really, since it is NOT worth basically $7 a taco. On the flip side, my wife did really enjoy her food. Her only complaint was the steak was a bit small.....and it was a bit thin, in my opinion. I didn't try it.Overall, the service is good. The place is clean. The ambiance is fine. I think the menu is too vast and confusing being that it seems the majority is Mexican fare than what the name and title implies of the restaurant. Breakfast and burgers is the "selling point". It could be a one off on the tacos yesterday but if their tacos are at this quality consistently, it makes me nervous to venture to anything else on their menu.....especially at that price point. We paid almost $60 (with 2 sodas and tip) and still felt a little under nourished after we left. May come back but definitely not for tacos!

We drive from Centennial Hills just to eat here. My girl is born and raised in Mexico, and this place hits all her wants. I love the Chorizo omelet with chilaquiles and the menudo comes with or without pata 7 days a week. Great service though sometimes there is a wait to be seated. That's just because it's so good and so popular. Totally feels like a neighborhood Mexican family restaurant. I heard they opened a second location but I have not tried that one yet. Can't wait to

Ely's is a roomie restaurant with space for small to large groups. They have a big menu to include many American and Mexican options from Menudo to a classic pancake ,egg and bacon platter. We stopped by here to have a good breakfast before heading to the airport for a long flight. I had a party of four and everyone enjoyed their meal.

This restaurant has a lot of tables and I hear it gets packed for breakfast. We stopped by for dinner. Our server sat us right away and took our drink order. I had the chicken Philly and it was pretty good. A good amount of filling and hoagie was toasted. It came with a side of fries that were hot and crispy. My friend had Ely's Mega plate which came with 3 fingers, a cheeseburger and a side of loaded fries. She enjoyed her food and had to take some to go. My other friend enjoyed her mixed fajitas that came with rice and beans and you can only select either flour or corn and not both w/o an extra charge. The menu is very expensive and has so many options to choose from. I want to go back and try breakfast and also the pozole/mendo.

Food was extremely impressive! I had the burrito and it was perfectly done and very filling. Also got the crepes what were well made and light. Finally the show stopper was the pozole. It was so damn good! One of the best I've ever had! Service was amazing. I believe Raymundo took care of us. He deserves a raise! Ambiance was great, rowdy a lot of movement and a lot of happy people with great food
