Off the beaten path, and a well kept secret. Ellis has expanded over the years, but never lets you down. Amazing tap selection, fair price point, no frillsJoint. They've got gambling tables, slots, a food restaurant and now an expanded area forWatching sports. Full bar too friends, get whatever libation does the trick! Service is always friendly and cool for all you kool cats out there.

Giving an extra star for service. Our waiter was great. We were excited to come here because the concierge said it was the best steak and eggs in Las Vegas. It's under construction so it took us a minute to find it....no biggie. When we ordered we got 2 1968 cocktails and two beers. 1968 is supposed to be bourbon and orange kind of like an old fashioned. This tasted like bourbon and water....terrible! The beer was good, they have a microbrewery on site. Now for the food....the steak was TOUGH. And I mean TOUGH....barely was able to cut it! The eggs and potatoes were terrible too....the only thing that was good was the toast. Very crispy and thick....so what does that say that the steak and eggs were terrible but the toast was the best thing?

Commenting solely on the restaurant. From what I hear, the portions and prices have changed (smaller steak, and higher prices). Steak & eggs $14.99. It's not on the menu, but well known. The steak is decent, but came with multiple pieces of tendon. No issues with the eggs. Hoping their Ellis Island rootbeer would taste different but it wasn't special. The casino with smoking bleeds into the restaurant. The waitress was nice but soooooo slow. We took forever to just get our order and whenever we wanted anything it was impossible to flag anyone down. A busboy had to just give us the whole coffee pot because that was the only person we could contact. Is the food cheap. Yes. Is the food great for it's price. Yes. However, service will be slower than molasses and not the cleanest of locations. Decent option for minimal pricing.

1 of 2 reviews.Quality/Quantity - Yes, a "me" day! My wife and daughter went to CES (I quit, I do not enjoy the event any more). Last year I spent it at the sports bar and had TOOOOOO much fun... This year, I will be good.Ellis Island Brewery has been on my list to visit for years... Out of all the restaurants here, The Front Yard is my favorite. BTW - The casino is going through a remodel; see pictures.Today I got the following at The Front Yard:Brisket Sliders - Not bad, but not good. I prefer my brisket medium rare, this was very well done, disguised in extra sauce... The flavor and quantity was okay. Probably will not order them again. And of course, a flight of beer to wash it all down:Little Foot Amber Ale - Of course, my current go to beer.Black Hill Schwarzbier - Not usually a dark drinker, but this was not bad, not too harsh.Cold Hearted Women Love IPA - So did this cold hearted man, lol. Mas Fuego Rauchbier - BBQ aroma, complimented the sliders perfectly. In summary, come here for the beer, I might skip the food next time.Well, if I try other dishes, I will update it.Brunch, happy hour, etc. menus also available.Atmosphere - Under remodel and about time. Looks very dated. See pictures. Not easy in and out, good thing you had signs and a friendly security guard because I almost gave up.Free parking. One block or so from the strip, easy walk. I actually like the quieter atmosphere.Front Yard:Love the huge indoor/outdoor space, see pictures.Plenty of bar and table seating.TVs for entertainment, of course for sports.Gaming available, but not today. Well I am sure they have gaming if you sat at the bar.Love the modern restrooms and the outside sinks, see pictures.Events, Mega Mondays, Trivia Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays, watch parties, games, live music, extended HH, etc; see websiteJust noticed on your website that you are two stories...? 350 capacity. Service - N/A, self service. Well I guess 4 stars for the friendly security guard.Price - $25 + generous tip.Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1968. On my next trip, I will bring my buddies for your beer (and maybe food).

Ellis Island Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! Tucked inside a small off-the-strip casino, this place serves some of the best prime rib I've ever had. The meat is cooked to perfection, flavorful, and the portion size is HUGE--honestly, one plate is more than enough for two people to share. It's an amazing deal, especially considering the quality of the food. The garlic green beans that come with the prime rib are absolutely delicious too--fresh, garlicky, and the perfect side dish.If you're looking for incredible food, great value, and a low-key spot away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip, Ellis Island Restaurant is the place to go. Highly recommend!

The food, although looks good and is plated nicely, is underwhelming in flavor and taste. Chicken fried chicken was slightly tendon-y. I didn't finish. The steak texture was soft and sherry like a cheap peice of meat. Toast was coated in the oily fake margarine/butter substitute in the kitchen. Soon as I bit it my lips were greasy. We don't even like eggs but the eggs were the best thing in both plates. Our potatoes could've been better if half of them weren't fresh and half of them very old, like they'd been sitting, and mixed in with fresh ones. This place has always been busy and packed. There's always filled tables and the casino is right in the next room. It's clear they've done upgrades to the casino. But the food quality has gone down in the last couple of years. We don't come much anymore, this is why. We had a taste for steak and eggs and remembered their special, which has gone up like $6 bucks in price. We took a picture of how much food we had left over. Oh yes, the pancake was okay. The service was fast but meh. All in all the experience was... meh.

Tucked inside Ellis Island is *The Village Pub*, a cozy gem that's clearly a local favorite. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming server who guided us through their menu of classic comfort food. I'm usually pretty particular about fish and chips, but when I heard it was one of their specialties--and a fan favorite--I couldn't resist. Let me tell you, it did *not* disappoint! Perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, it was hands-down some of the best I've had. My son went for the chicken fried steak, and it was just as impressive. The gravy was rich and flavorful, and the dish came with a cup of their hearty chili--which honestly could've been a full meal on its own. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm visiting my son, who's now a proud local. *The Village Pub* has earned a spot on my must-visit list!

Been a few years since we ate here. Place is under major construction, but the food, service and the atmosphere is still excellent! We had the fish and chips again and they were cooked to perfection and we left with full tummies!!

Absolutely outstanding. Can't beat the value for the money..: it's divey but has so much charm.Gonna be a new must go for me every time I'm in Vegas.Everything on my plate was well seasoned and tasted great, and the best part was food for three here easily matched the price of food for just one on the strip!Plus they've got karaoke!

One of my favorite Vegas spots we always happen for a quick bite to eat have a great prime rib deal as long as you're a member to the casino which we are we have a club cardStaff can be so so depending on the day in the hour you go however we have to keep in mind. It's Vegas. Like mini older casinos it's a darker atmosphere. Definitely a lot of smoke so if you can't breathe well don't go in. Very laid-back casual atmosphere come as you are
