El Zarape

Family ended up here for Father's Day. The food was tasty with large portions. The staff was amazing. They were all incredibly kind and had uplifting rapport with one another. I believe they play Mariachi on Sundays (the band they hired was extremely talented). What a neat folkloric place! This is right off North Lamb Boulevard in a strip mall that's been around for quite sometime and I can guarantee you that El Zarape will bring business for the rest of the folks around. From the outside it might not look like much but trust that what matters is the inside. Once we walked in I knew this was going to be a promising experience and it was. The only thing that i'd like to remind the staff is that not everyone is familiar with the products so elaborating on the description of a meal will be helpful to many. My friend ordered separately a quesabirria but did not understand that there are two styles one of corn tortilla and the other of flour tortilla (tho simple understanding he could've been explained thoroughly). I myself did get the corn tortilla ones just to try out the flavor and let me tell you! This is what Birria is all about! The flavor this place offers is so outstanding from other birria places and the consome (dipping-broth) is so full of deliciousness! Definitely will come back with more friends. The aesthetic of the place is also great with many frames of hand-made loteria drawings and colorful aspects. This guys are on top of their game. Stop by and visit sometime soon!

New location near Starbucks on Charleston near Lamb. Since they just opened, it's super clean and the dining area is colorful with nice artwork. The employees were very nice and the food is made to order so it takes a little time, but that's worth the wait. I've tried them twice already and will probably be a regular. They have so much for me to try... ESPECIALLY THE HOT CHEETOS item.

I was really surprised! I live down the street from here and I always saw it. I've been wanting to visit but never could till now. The place is clean and the workers were great! My cashier was Jessica well that's what it said on the receipt I forgot to ask for her name but she was great very helpful and nice. She even kept updating me about my order because it was a to go order. The prices are good not to crazy. The food though! Yummm is how I can explain it! The camarones a la diabla weren't just spicy but sabroso usually the camarones a la diabla are over powered by the spice but these were flavorful and spicy very good balance. The quesabirria with consume were also very good definitely recommend! I got the tacos for my comadre so I can't judge them but she said they were good con la salsa verde! Cute small place wish I could've stayed to eat there but I had to get home maybe next time! Thanks again for the delicious food yall didn't disappoint

The food was good service was also good it just doesn't seem like ill be coming again because I live so far but the place is beautiful

never have had such bad customer serves in my life! Couldn't even place my order the girl on the phone was rude and hung up on me multiple times. loved the food at the other location but unfortunately this one wont get a dime from me unless someone lets me know that rude ass girl is fired!

OMG. So good. I ordered birria quesadillas and they were super yummy. It's just opened but it is cute and close to work!
