El Tinajon Cuban Food

2nd Best tamales, #1 was my Mother and I will not order Tamales in any cuban restaurant but El Tinajon WOW they really know how to make them. Get really cause one is not enough.

Service: took almost a half hour to receive our food, all we ordered was a sandwich, fries and croquettes...and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were waiting an additional 20 min after we finished eating for the espresso we ordered that never came...we walked out, they didn't even notice. Ambiance: While we were waiting, the employees were speaking about their personal lives very loudly, that we could hear them. Food: The sandwich, Pan con Lechón, was very dry. And this is coming from my husband who is Cuban, it didn't have any onions or mojo, which gives it its unique taste. We will never be back here.

One of my favorite cuban places in the area. Ropa vieja and congris with plantains are very filling and delicious.

My wife was originally from Cuba and THE BEST cook (chef) ever. I'm a Yankee but speak some Spanish. I know Cuban food! I had the roasted chicken, white rice, yucca con mojo (cassava) and at the end had a cortadito (small Cuban expresso coffee with cream). I would have preferred yucca frita (Yucca French fries) but wasn't available. Just happened to be on Flamingo Road and decided to try it out. Good choice. The receptionist/server was great. For a quick meal dine in or to go, I would recommend the place.

Service was terrible. They forgot my sandwich and had to make it fresh even though the sandwich and food itself was somehow drier than the air in Las Vegas, and I live here. Tried speaking in Spanish to get a bag for my leftovers too, and got stonewalled because someone was in line.Overall would not recommend, my family and I all came out pretty disappointed. I guess the murals were nice.

They used to be the best but slowly falling down, 3rd time I come in @7:15 and the kitchen is closed the restaurant closes @8pm thought.

Great Prices. Good from coming from a Hispanic! The Customer Service was amazing and the hospitality as well. See you guys soon and thank you for the amazing Food.
