We had a very positive first impression and dining experience! We were immediately greeted with smiling faces which is a fantastic way to start any meal. It sets a welcoming and positive tone. We were seated immediately.Atmosphere was nicely Mexican themed with music to go with it creating an immersive and authentic experience. This is important for a restaurant aiming to provide a specific cultural dining experience.Food:Mole Poblano Plate was delicious and was ordered by our server, which indicates the server's excellent recommendation skills. Chili releno was good but could have been warmer. A standard beverage selection.Service: Our Server Marianna, was absolutely amazing. So personable, friendly, helpful and attentive very high praise.Overall:It seems like the restaurant excels in creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional service. The food was generally good, with the Mole Poblano Plate being a highlight. The only minor critique was the temperature of the chili relleno.

El Nopal is a Mexican Restaurant that also offers breakfast with a location in North Las Vegas. It's decorated like every day is a fiesta. Bar drinks are mostly beers and two margaritas. We tried the regular lime margaritas. They taste good but are very weak.They also give you complimentary chips, SPICY salsa, and fideo soup with entrees.We didn't get any needed napkins till our entrees arrived.I tried a chicken fajita. They do serve a large portion and the chicken was tender but it was in a sauce that I can't identify that I found almost unpalatable. My husband tried the asada alambres. My husband thinks his meal had the same sauce on it. He just said that it wasn't good but he ate his whole meal.Our server was very average and didn't bother to clear our plates.On this one I am struggling between 2-3 stars because it would have been good without that sauce they added to the fajita.Average Mexican Restaurant with average service.

I crossed the border, Joe - and I'm still feeling the pull of authentic comida Mexicana!El Nopal is particularly good if you're craving breakfast. They've got all the usual Mexican options along with some good Gringo choices as well. The pancakes look delish!My Huevos Rancheros was exactly right. Served with arroz amarillo & frijoles with a side of tortillas, it was a tasty and filling way to start the day. The vibe is *FIESTA* with perky mariachi music and brightly-colored papeles picados overhead. It's a table-service place, but very casual. They have a limited bar, so on a scale ranging from food-truck tacos (cheap!) to Mijo (crazy expensive!), El Nopal is the Goldilocks choice right between between Roberto's and Dona Maria's. Including a large horchata and tip, my meal was just under $20. Not cheap, but not breaking the bank either. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here - but when I'm in the area, Viva El Nopal!

Visiting from out of town and a friend recommended this spot. Lesson learned... never trust his food spots again. Food: 3/5 Tacos were good, the super nachos were not what I expected and they had a small amount of beans on the bottom of the plate piled with chips and hardly any meat or toppings and not worth the price of them. Service: 2/5 The two girls working this night seemed to have some attitude and weren't friendly. Atmosphere: 4/5 The ambience was nice. Value: 1/5: Overpriced Mexican food for sure.

I ordered through grubhub today& specifically asked for 2 bags of chips and salsa& also requested to receive only red salsa for tacos not green. I put it in the notes for them to see & it's like they laughed at us & purposely gave us only green salsa &1 salsa for chips. What's annoying is they do this every single time I order through grubhub . The only reason why I order from here is bc in the north this place is better than other spots but it's not the best.. I live somewhat close but for me to go over there I have to take both of my kids 's not like I can just leave them in the car while I go in the restaurant. So fuck you.

What a hidden gem. Food...ambiance...music...atmosphere are all authentic. This is a "real feel" restaurant. Staff is very accommodating with menu change requests. I had their "Taco Tuesday" in the past and they were amazing. I am having Fajita plate tonight and am sitting here cannot wait. Service is great. Price is reasonable. For authenticity, great price, and wonderful flavors...give El Nopal a try. You will come back just like I did. Menu is in both Spanish and English. Servers checked on me even though I am sitting in the "to go section."

Cutely decorated, very clean, decent service Dinner with friends. Ordered the rolled chicken taquitos. Moist chicken, very crispy. Came with rice, beans, guacamole, lettuce tomato and green salsa. The rice cooked and seasoned perfectly. Mixed vegetables were added to the rice. Beans creamy, could have had a little more seasonings. Friend ordered the chili relleno with rice n beans. Good amount of flavor, gooey cheese. Very good. Chips and salsa yummy as well. Need to come back for breakfast.

I was in a vehicle accident and dependent on delivery. I ordered fingers plain w/ff and ranch on the side. My soup was not wrapped for delivery and most spilled. I paid $40 for this and I can't even get my order corrected. When I called they didn't care and said to call back in the morning. What good will this do?!
