This is not your typical mall. Most stores in the main mall are mom & pop stores with a few brand names ones like Victoria Secret and Bath&Body works. They have this cool Rex Center game place we were attempting to take our son but it was closed for maintenance that day which was a bummer. It had video games, Go Karts, miniature golf and/or rock climbing. There is also another section, like mini mall within the mall that was very interesting and cozy to the Hispanic Culture. That section reminds me of walking down a tiny hispanic town in Downtown Los Angeles or Ensenada, Mexico. It has a lot of tiny little individual stall stores selling a lot of hispanic culture type clothing, souvenirs etc. Next to this section is the food court that also consists of hispanic culture foods and stalls. So if you want to get some authentic Mexican food, this is the place. I will say, i tried the Sabor Y Mexico n the poor lady by herself with a other super slow helper left her very scattered. Many people chose her place instead of other food stalls so i gave it a try. It took almost 25min to wait for my Champurrado which was not hot and was over boiled or microwaved as it left a lot of milk film floating all over my drink. So i was bummed especially after waiting so long for it. This mall is obviously not too busy as its very specific & a specialized mall catered to hispanic culture for most part but a must visit to check out the cool stuff & try the food court.

I was headed for the food court in the El Mercado store at the Boulevard Mall. After some looking, I followed the signs which clearly mark the food court and I was there. It has been many, many years since I've been in the Boulevard Mall. I had read about a restaurant in the food court and I had to try it. El Mercado is on the north side of the mall with the entrance adjacent to Regal Cinemas.Think of El Mercado as being an upscale flea market. There are all kinds of mostly Latin clothes, jewelry, crafts, along with other stores. I walked around and saw many of the booths but I don't need any more home décor nor children's clothes.El Mercado would be a great place for the shopper looking for the kind of goods on display.

As empty and deserted as it feels inside The Boulevard shopping mall these days, there's still one spot totally worth checking out, especially for tourists. The El Mercado marketplace is my favorite around here. It brings Hispanic culture and has its own food court with Mexican foods within the shopping experience. They always provide good customer service to buyers. You can find affordable and cheap goods here, as well as other fashions boutiques and gift shops. I like this place because it's very vibrant and colorful. It feels like a touristic escape from the rest of Las Vegas. Foods are delicious here. Public restrooms are inside the food court area too. Well established and well organized section of the entire shopping mall area. They have lots of retail spaces available for rent/lease inside. Existing stores are still operating. Definitely take photos here if you like. It's Instagram friendly, but the senior Hispanic folks might give you a weird look or facial expression at times. Feels like a very good indoor flea market, but with better quality products here. I absolutely love the setting and will plan on revisiting. El Mercado is underrated as it looks and feels much better inside when you're actually in the moment there. I love this unique section of the shopping mall. Highly recommended for tourists. People are welcoming and friendly. El Mercado is for you if you like international shopping vibes with a unique global twist of culture inside.

We came here by chance to visit a restaurant in their food court. The plaza was beautifully decorated and had so many merchants. The food court was delicious. We got food from two places. I wish we had time to explore it all. Will be a stop on my next Vegas trip. Plenty of parking too.

Just a heads up to everyone going to the Boulevard Mall. While my kid and I were sitting at a table waiting for food, a tall African American guy snatched my wallet right off the table and ran out. I tried chasing him, but he disappeared fast. Thankfully, a nice local saw it happen and took me to the mall security office. The security officer was super helpful, but their video system wasn't clear enough to see the car's license plate. All we saw was the guy driving the beige car, which he parked right by the mall door. He then got out, and a few minutes later, he ran out, got into the car, and drove away. It seemed like he had done this before, as everything happened very quickly and smoothly.I want to warn everyone to keep their stuff safe. Don't leave your wallet or valuables on the table, even for a second. The security team tries their best, but the cameras aren't high-res enough to catch everything. Stay alert and keep your things close so you don't get your wallet stolen like I did.

I tripped over this place but I can't wait to go back! It's somewhere between a flea market and a bougie suburban mall-- but with an ethnic twist. It's inconveniently located behind the food court of the boulevard mall... go out the back food court door and to the right if you are already in the mall. The shops all look cute, but the big draw for me was the food court. Offering everything from vegan Mexican cuisine to meaty things dipped in meat juices, every stall has real appeal. This is a destination.

Went inside of the Boulevard mall to look for a vending machine, and looked some colorful advertisements in the back where it's says El Mercado, went there and I was pleasantly surprised. I was thinking it's the grocery store but it's something different. For a second I had a feeling I went to Mexico and was enjoying Mexican spirit but then I realized I am in Vegas.Upon entering on the front door there are couple of hallways with different stores on both sides. Clothing stores, shoes store, jewelry, but most of them are inspired by Latin culture. All traditional Latin outfits and hand made bags, hats and accessories. Perfect place if you want to buy unique gifts like matching bag and hat. After browsing around at this beautiful spot found little Mexican bar in central area. Wasn't really in the mood for a bar so I continue walking until I found food court. The best hibiscus/Jamaica tea I have ever had, haven't had time to try food but definitely will be back and bring my kids. There is a place in the food court that have indoor little playground.Love it. And so happy to find new spot for hang out with family during heat season

This is a neat Mexican Shopping Area located inside the Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway. There are numerous local vendors inside that sell everything from Mexican outfits, prom dresses, quinceannera finds, shoes, perfumes, along with some eateries in the area. I myself found this place while I was shopping for some Cinco De Mayo traditional outfits earlier this month. The part of the mall is decorated in Mexican pinatas and décor. I actually felt like I was walking through some little shops back in Mexico. Bravo to the team that brought back some life to the dull mall and for giving some of our local businesses an opportunity to thrive. Nothing is better walking through the market, buying some Nice Mexico finds with a Spicy Elote in your hand :)

Great use of space inside the Boulevard Mall. Very spacious and lots of small niche Mexican businesses inside. Directly east of the main entrance. There is also a back entrance by the parking structure.

Fun indoor flea market to stay cool in the summer heat. We visited on a weekday therefore a minimal number of vendors were open. On the plus it wasn't crowded and we were able to walk freely without bumping into anyone. The vendors were attentive and friendly. There's a bar and a food court area with a variety of foods and treats. We will be back on the weekend to experience the live music and action.
