El Compa Birria Tatemada - Las Vegas

Birria was cooked perfectly! Delicious! My to go place every time I'm in Las Vegas! I've tried both locations, and both good. But this Charleston location has the best cocinera/cook for the birria!

another one off my checklist yay!birria tacos with cheese, birria and consume with tortillas on the side, beef/ res quesadilla, and nacho chips with sauces (bean and spicy)... all saur filling and heavy and satisfying!! very naice customer service and clean environment and friendly atmosphere for all! graciasss

Compa Birria was a gteat local spot in Vegas for some bomb birria tacos! The servers are super nice and friendly and helpful when explaining the menu. I got the 3 taco plate which came with compa on the side. Definitely get the goat over the beef, its mouch more tender and flavor. The compa is also super good and adds the right grease and flavor to the taco. The food is pretty heavy and oily so be warned!They also give you free chips with bean dip and salsa with your meal! Even the chips are super filling.

I'm so sad that I did not take a picture of the food but the food was 10 out of 10! The service was good but somehow we had miscommunication in a very weird way but it actually worked out because we would have probably busted the button on our pants if the cashier would have took our order right. Regardless of the small inconvenience the overall service was good. The food did take some time to come out but they had to go orders ahead of us. The complimentary beans and salsa was sooo good! We had seconds! I loved the fact that it was spacious inside with plenty of seating and large tables for 6 people. Music was pretty good too! So we had vibes and great food! I highly recommend this place. Also they have goat meat or beef and we went with the beef crunch tacos (tacos dorados de carne). So if you don't know the difference because there's a big difference just go with beef. It's bomb.

Amazing Hole in the wall located East Las Vegas. There was mention of a Goat Birria recipe passed down from an Uncle. With that knowledge and the reviews caught my attention and piqued my curiosity, I had to give this place a shot. Knowing goat isn't an easy meat to handle and can be extreme gamy if prepared by inexperienced hands. I'm glad we decided to come for our first experience of Goat Birria.Here's what we ordered-Beans: Let me just say the beans are the best here! Rich and creamy texture and goes along perfectly with tortillas. Handmade tortillas: The tortilla here is thick and somewhat doughy. My personal preference is thin tortillas. This didn't really work for me. Goat Birria: Delicious! I have to say, I'm glad to choose this place as my first experience trying Goat Birria. Meat is well seasoned and can taste the cinnamon and other spices. The taco was sandwiched with layers of mixed cheese. Every bite was flavorful. Although this place did a great job, I learned I'm not a fan of Goat birria.Beef Birria: Spectacular! Similar to the goat birria, instead with beef. Menudo: Great! The stew was filled with tripe and a big chunk of pork knuckle. All and all, we had a great dining experience. Will definitely come back for the rest of the stuff on the menu. ~ Cheers!~

Hubby heard about this restaurant from a food blogger. Hubby and I ordered the same (2) Queso Taco De Res - Beef Barbacoa taco with El Compa special Mexican cheese blend (1) Taco Dorado Chivo - oven roasted goat taco in a hard shell corn tortilla with extra broth. We also had the Orden De Frijoles - El Compa spicy fried beans and chips. Overall the braised beef and goat tacos were flavorful and the taco shells were crispy and greasy.

Great food definitely get your moneys worth with the tacos they're pretty greasy but what else would you expect. The bean dip is definitely my favorite and the service was cool too, we got served pretty fast and the restaurant looks empty but it's definitely not a place to sleep on.

A rainy day calls for birria . We were very exited about tying this since we heard great things about this place and It was also on Netflix special . It's a small place kinda quite probably from everyone enjoying this delicious birria . They have option of beef or chivo ( goat ) try the goat !!! Both choices are great . Prices are decent expect for the 4$ Mexican bottled coke but hey, we were at a restaurant so it wasn't that big of a deal . They go great with some tacos . Service was speedy and friendly , although I knew what I was ordering I did hear the cashier lady happily explain items on the menu to guest that where ordering . You do order and sit yourself soDon't expect anyone to sit you here , still very friendly . Everyone does own thing here . We will be coming backSoon and will be recommending this small family owned business . Can't wait , I wish I would of had some left overs because I'm getting hungry from this review .
