El Buen Gusto

I love finding restaurants that tend to be overlooked because of how it looks. When my family and I first came here, we weren't a fan of it. We came in and we were immediately greeted and seated. We looked through the menu and ordered a lot of different Guatemalan food. We were shocked on how good it was! The revolcada, carne adobada, chicken, and everything else we ordered were so good. I will say, this is your typical hole in the wall restaurant. It is very simple and not nice like other restaurants at Las Vegas, but I recommend you giving it a try regardless.

I've been trying to come here for months! Finally I made it and well damn... Service is great! Just wish the food matched the service I received. I came in by myself and was immediately treated with a joyful hola ! I sat down and after a bout a minute of glancing at the menu a really nice middle aged man with glasses came over to take my order and helped with recommending a drink and some questions I had on the food. Super nice and cheerful. This is the service I miss from vegas! But anyways I ordered the Salvadoran version of horchata which was delicious btw! Thanks for that recommendation! Then I ordered the pork tamale, two papusas revelutas, plantanos. So, generally when I come into these little mom and pop places I see all the little grandmas in the back cooking and talking shht and laughing in the back and food takes about 30minutes to come out. Yeah not here. You hear the laughing and the shht talking so you still have that. But the food came quick like I had the tamale in under 5 minutes then the papusas, then the plantains. All in under 10 minutes. When I tell you service is fast and friendly I mean it! Let's talk food! So you sit down they bring you a black bean dip and some tricolor chips. Ehhh the chips store bought. The dip bland but ok. I'm not a black bean fan. The pork tamale was interesting. Super moist but it seems like the steam the masa part in the leaves then add the meat and a little sauce to it on top. There was a big bone in mine so look out for bones don't just start chomping. Then came the papusas they were on the small side and cold definitely not made to order. That made me so sad!!! There is nothing like a fresh papusa!!! The plantanos were great. While I'm so happy for the service but so disappointed on the food. Unfortunately I will mark this place with a do not recommend.

El servicio y comida no son nada recomendables. La mesera nos hizo una cara cuando pedimos de tomar una coca-cola. Tuve que cambiar mi orden de comida tres veces porque lo que pedía me decían que no había. La carne asada llego mal cocida y dura. La carne asada de mi esposo estaba roja aun y la regresamos. La volvieron a traer ya casi quemada. Fue una experiencia horrible y no puedo creer que fuimos a mal gastar nuestro dinero ahi.

The pupusas sooo delicious but I did order the mix with chicharrón cheese and Bern's but I got cheese and beans only but was still delicious

Muy mala atención en las llamadas no son educados te cuelgan y ni siquiera te dan opciones muy MAJADEROS

Food was fresh. I had a couple things but I started with the Papusas. Was home made and had a lot of flavor. The service was quick. My coffee and fresh juice came out fast. A lot of authentic murals and the staff was nice

I have been customer for a while, the quality of the food is decent. I always would call ahead to order and pick up. No issues ever, they're very friendly and the customer service is good. Recently though, it has happened twice and I won't let it happen anymore, I would place an order and when I would arrive the food they would then start to MAKE my food. I got so irritated and told them I already waited the allotted time they told me on the phone so to come and to wait another 40 minutes was not necessary. I gave them another chance, called ahead and they told me how long. I arrived and they did it again, they were not even busy at all. I told them to cancel my order. Not going back ever again.

Takes too long gives you wrong estimate of time took 2 hours and half instead of 45 minutes

Fui hoy a su restaurante , que de hecho es uno de los lugares más mierdas que ido la comida no tiene nada de buen gusto , y de paso son unos vividores quieren salir de pobre con sus platos caros y feos no me pasa que fui por dos pupusas2.75$ un café 3.64$un atol de elote 6.76&un plato de desayuno 15.59$Mi comida en total tendría que salir 31.74 $ mas los 2.66 de taxes serían, 34.37$ y los Mila vieja corda hija de su fregada me dice cobro 39.13 Llego a mi casa y veo por que tanto casi 40 por algo que ni bueno estaba , el atol amargo, y veo que el recibo dice que 5 or more (15.0%) de que putas, que es eso 4.76 $ dólares de que chingados . Pinches ladrones.

Would not recommend this location at all what so ever. Customer service here is terrible and not even worth dealing with to eat here. I truly understand why the reviews are what they are and why the star rating is so low. I have never experienced such bad service please save yourself and just go next door to get some good food and service 10/10 would go back to el molcajetes .
