Early Birds - A Breakfast Spot

We love going to Early Birds on the weekend for the ambience and food. The menu is extensive for any culinary fun you want but also includes the classics (and don't forget the bacon-fat smashed potatoes). This time we also got the Chai'd and True which was delicious. Thank you Taylor for serving us today!

Came here for brunch and it was ok. Great ambiance and vibes + music. We went on Valentine's Day so I expected things to be wanky. My food was cold when it came out but since they were busy I didn't send it back. Service was good. Idk if I'd come back but the drinks were a vibe.

My experience at Early Birds was disappointing from start to finish. Their online waitlist only allows up to six people, so we joined with six and left a note mentioning our party was actually 12. We also requested a call if they couldn't accommodate us. I noticed they manually updated our party size to 12, which led me to believe we were still in line. After waiting two hours without receiving a text, I checked and saw that we were no longer on the waitlist. Calling was useless--their phone goes straight to voicemail, and no one ever answers--so we couldn't confirm our status until we arrived at the restaurant.When we got there, a man who seemed to be the owner or manager looked visibly annoyed about our party size. Even after we showed screenshots confirming our waitlist for 12, he didn't acknowledge it. It took a while, but we were eventually seated.I ordered the steak skillet, my cousin got the steak Benny, and my boyfriend had the Loco Moco. Unfortunately, they don't cook the steak to order, and mine was tough and overdone. My cousin's steak was the same, and her poached egg was overcooked--missing the runny yolk that defines a proper Benedict. My boyfriend said his Loco Moco was good, but I didn't really catch what everyone else ordered or how they felt about their food.We were celebrating my cousin's birthday and brought a cake, which they allowed. However, they wouldn't let us cut and eat it there, claiming that no restaurant allows outside cake. That was surprising, as I've attended many restaurant birthday celebrations where this was never an issue. I wish they would answer their phones so that we can confirm these things ahead of time. The only redeeming quality of this place is its ambiance. The service and food need serious improvement. I wouldn't recommend going here.

Looking for a new breakfast spot so found on this sight. Before entering read some reviews and everyone giving 5 stars, well I can't do that, l'm more honest. First the place is very cheery and nice, there are regular tables and chairs, indoor/outdoor seating, they also had high top tables and seating at the bar. Staff was very friendly and asked where I would like to sit, I choose reg. table but if it was nicer weather would have choose outside. Looking at menu they have all the classics, but didn't see any combo platters like eggs, bacon and pancakes or French toast, but my waitress mentioned they had 1 pancake or French toast add ons. I went with the Denver omelette pretty safe comes with roasted potatoes(no hash browns) and toast. I also had their drip coffee, one tip if you like hot coffee with meal ask for it once you get meal because it gets cold really quick because they serve it in those giant mugs like in the show Friends.So I get my order and waitress warns me the plate is extremely Hot but my omelette was warm and noticed they only give you 1slice of toast!? The omelette was not very impressive either looked like they cook the eggs really thinly and place the ham(sandwich ham vs chunks of ham) pepper and sautéed onions vs raw ones, which gave it a different flavor and the cheese which was not very melted on this extremely Hot plate. The potatoes were good cooked well crisp on the outside and flaky inside and I think they were Yukon gold potatoes. Had to ask for condiments none on the table so waitress brings me a container of ketchup and Cholula hot sauce Not very traditional diner style. I guess they're trying to be a little more sanitary there. All in all the food was decent, but not spectacular, service was good, oh by the way they are a cashless establishment so you better have a credit card, Apple Pay, crypto cause cash is not King there but those things I mentioned kind of brought down their score.

This spot is definitely a GEM!! came with an online reservation and was sat within a few minutes. It's definitely a busy restaurant so online is the way to go! The decor was so cute and unique as well, definitely opened up the small space and patio seating too. This menus was massive! So many fun names for each dish and everything sounded amazing it took so long to decide what to get. We ended up ordering their classic mimosas and I got the Loaded potato skillet. Let me tell you know it was SO DELICIOUS!!! 10/10 experience and fairly priced. Would definitely recommend and go again

Came back for a second time and this time got a smores pancake and the salmon Benny! My boyfriend got a side of the smashed potatoes. Everything tasted flavorful. We Love the environment and the cartoons on the tvs. Service is good as well. My mom enjoys their coffee but they only have half and half for the creamers. Maybe a small suggestion to offer other flavor creamers too like French vanilla or hazelnut? We do enjoy coming here so we'll be back!

Staff is amazing and provide an incredible experience they make you feel right at home and they go above and beyond. My go-to dish? Without a doubt, the steak and eggs. Best in town! The steak is always cooked to perfection--juicy, tender, and with tons of flavor. Paired with perfectly cooked over medium eggs and sourdough toast. Nothing I have tried on the menu has ever disappointed so no matter what you order you can't go wrong. Beyond the incredible food, instagram worthy dishes and their attention to detail to is unmatched. If you haven't tried Early Birds yet, I highly recommend 12/10. It's the kind of place you'll keep coming back to!

Thank You Early Birds for accommodating me and my friends for my Boozy Birthday Breakfast! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time!! The Bottomless Misosas are a great bargain!! The food is amazing! It's a great little breakfast/brunch spot!!

Foods amazing! Burst of flavor in every bite! Our waitress Taylor was really polite and nice, made us feel welcomed. Would highly recommend this place!!
