I had to check this spot out after seeing all the mouth watering pictures of the food. I love that it's family owned and ran and they even have their kids assisting with the business. Little man at the register definitely sells the food and is knowledgeable of how it's made and lets it be known that everything is homemade. It is to go only so it's best to order ahead so you don't have to wait. There is a place to sit if you decided to wait and a wall to take pictures. I ordered two oxtail dinners, an order of salmon croquettes and 2 kool aids.The oxtails were flavorful! We also had two sides with each meal: cabbage (does have a kick), yams, potato salad and Mac and cheese. Everything was delightful and gave me a taste of home. Now those salmon croquettes were DIVINE. They were moist, had a little crunch and were paired well with rice. I can't wait to go back and try some other menu items.

Customer service is TOP TIER!!!!I've been here twice and both times made me smile!!! My first visit I tried the catfish with greens and yams. The catfish was fried to perfection and seasoned to the gawds! The candied yams were just the way I like them sweet and yummy. The greens were a tad bit salty, but still amazing I couldn't stop eating them. I was determined to go back for more soon. So I went back a couple weeks later and tried the oxtails. Mannnnn the oxtails were DEEELISHHHH, ya hear me! I had to get the yams and greens again. I also tried the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was not very cheesy but was flavorful and good. I almost forgot about the banana pudding cake, AAA+++++

My go to here is always the 8pc fried chicken with spaghetti and Mac and cheese. And it hits every single time I come here with the same order. I'm not a fan of fish but I am always tempted to try when I come here because it looks soo damn good. Please the cook DOES NOT disappoint!!!

I highly recommend! These are truly some of the best homemade southern hot tamales I've had. Please stop in. They have an endless menu of mouthwatering bites and just the right combination of seasoning.

I was scrolling down a TikTok rabbit hole & I seen a video about the restaurant. I sent the video to my mom & she said let's go NOW! I said calm down woman it's closed for the day, let's go tomorrow.So she picked me up the next day & we took a ride to the north side :). There's no parking lot, so you will have to park on the street. I know Vegas people don't know how to parallel park, neither do I. We walked up to the door & it was locked... shortly we found out you have to call the place or order online to plug in your order. The downside is that you have to go online to check out the menu and not hold a regular menu. The menu online is pretty straightforward with tamales. You can choose from ground beef, ground turkey, and I believe chicken. We placed our order on the phone and grabbed a few things from the 7-11. The person on the phone was super nice & helpful with the process. We sailed off back to eat and have lunch together. The food was ok, my Doritos were somewhat stale so I only ate the tamales. I would check them out again to try something new if I head back over to the area.Notes: order ahead online so you can get your food when you pull up.

I tried this place based on a review from a friend. It was very easy to call & order and the customer service was great! However, I wasn't impressed with the food . The Mac and cheese really didn't have cheese it was really just noodles , & while the "tamales" had good flavor it was just too dry. Not only was it dry but it also was crumbly. I really wanted to like this place based on their stellar reviews but unfortunately for me it didn't live up to the hype.

*This review is for a TooGoodToGo order, which is leftovers*Let me just tell you...I can't wait to try this fresh because the leftovers SLAPPED. I was treated with a gumbo (and rice!) and a loaded Spanish tamale. Great deal and even better service. I'll be back for more fresh food and more leftovers for the low when they're available. You just can't go wrong and I've only had it once so far. YOU BETTER GET YOU ONE OF THESE

It's almost hard for me not to give a five because nothing is perfect. There's always room for error to be fixed. I must say very good but pricey considering all I got was the catfish with french fries which caused $19.50 but I guess you can say you pay for quality I'm not too disappointed, but just a little bit pricey.

When I say this is THE BEST southern style tamales that I have had in a long time, I mean it! My children's grandma dear, used to sell hot tamales back in the day that everyone used to go crazy about. God rest her soul. These brought back great memories. I saw some people talking about this place on Facebook and decided to give it a try. Ordered delivery for lunch and let me tell you that you're are going to absolutely love them! Let's just say I ended up ordering them again for lunch the next week. I tried the tamales, candid yams, Mac & cheese. Simply delicious. I was too busy stuffing my face, that I remembered to at least get a pic of the tamales. Sorry guys. You know I'll be ordering again or going to the establishment. So more pics soon. And everyone knows I'm big on great customer service.... The person I've talked to on both occasions, knows customer service! Go check this place out ya'll. You will love it!
