Dotty's

I advise no one to go here. I been going here to buy cigarettes for 12 years. They told me to take off my face surgical Mask ! .i am disabled very low immune system, i have many health problems. I am taking over 16 medications most lower my immune system even more .i actually buy marijuana for my health and they don't require me to take off mask. Covid-19 is still around. I have had 9 close family members died from covid. 1 just 2 weeks ago . they refused service to me a disabled sick person only trying to buy cigarettes for my mother who is also very bad sick and can't buy herself. .i will have to get in touch with cchd, bbb , and they city council. It's not right what they are doing. What if someone comes in and haves covid and they tell them to take off mask !! Completely unacceptable.

Staff is great but there are some very questionable characters that walk in to this location.

I think it's pretty sad that they would fire one of their best employees on an assumption instead of facts people need to get it together that's why you don't have good employees you get rid of the good ones

I saw a sign stating that the staff is happy to meet your requests for condiments. I started to laugh. They are also hiring a friendly team; what a joke. Dotty's is such as miserable little place. I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy there. I like how Dotty's looks like one of those country diners. Really, they have a nice, warm feel to it, but the staff evidently isn't having it. Clearly, I am of legal age to be playing slots. I had a card in and this lady was treating me as though I was a transient. While I was playing, she came up to me and rudely asked for my ID. While she was rude doing this, she rudely says, "You want water or a soda, no alcohol since you are not playing enough." Cold, cold person. Why does she even work here if she clearly hates her job? No, how's it going? My answer was "NO THANKS!" She probably would have drugged my drink for all I know. This place is not as warm and welcoming as it appears. I did not want to approach this person at all. In fact, I don't think Dotty's wants any business. I had to go to anyway about my pin. I had about 6,000 points on there. She was being even more rude when I tried to get help with the PIN. Lady, you don't have to be so rude. Like all the reviews over the past couple years, please don't come here. People really need to stop coming to Dotty's and stop giving them business. This place sucks.

I worked @ the Dottys on Charleston and 28th. My managers were Tanner, Dan and assistant manager was Colby boggess. I was at this location, maybe 2 months. I loved bartending. I enjoyed my customers and having the free range to run my location as I wanted. On March 10th was my birthday. I had the 8 AM to 2 PM. Shift, I wasn't even halfway through my shift and have already made $400. Next thing I know Kolby comes in, obviously upset about whatever most likely she was having men problems which she had a lot. She was slamming cabinets, shoving things around. Talking very rude to my customers. I tried to stay back. Let her do her thing so that she can leave and I can continue on having a pleasant day. After over 30 to 45 minutes of dealing with this craziness. I asked her was she okay? She ignored me. I told her if this continued to treat me or my customers this way that I was going to go to HR so they can handle this matter. Pervious to my shift, the other bartender had several RPC's which means payouts that she had to payout from the safe because the main payout machine wasn't working. As a gaming bartender, we all know if we don't pay out our customers and tell them to come back later with their voucher, we will miss our tips. So after about 30mins. I continued to take care of my customers. The next thing I know, Tanner walks in, goes straight to the back. He had a conversation with colby. Then after 15 minutes later I was asked to turn in my keys and to leave and that someone from HR. Will be contacting me. Not once did he ask me my side of the story. When I heard from HR, the excuses for my investigation went from the R PC's, rhen it went to me being disrespectful to management, then after 2 days I was told I was terminated for sending a threatening text to another co-worker. Remind you I wasn't at this location long enough to get anyone's phone number. I feel bullied and the minute I tried to stand up for myself I was terminated without even being able to state my case. I was also told I was not rehireable ever. I was later told by several bartender while dealing with this same assistant manager she has done this to others, yet no one does nothing. I loved my job I loved my customers and wish someone hire ups would look into these type of situations. By the way I still have customers who call me and follow me on Facebook and have followed me to my new employment.

The "Sad Reality" my wife went to the Dotty's on Charleston and Decatur across from Walmart and was refused service, it's cold as hell in Vegas and she had her hood on, number one it's cold and has a cold, number 2 she's Muslim. She asked the man to buy cigarettes and he told her no, because she was upset for waiting outside until they decided to open the door, me (her husband) couldn't go in because I just left work and I'm an armed security officer and veteran. If this is how Dotty's treat people, I highly recommend not to shop or gamble at this Dotty's. It's sad how American companies hire people that don't have people skills or tact when dealing with people. "What is the world coming to ? Customer service doesn't even matter, it's all about the dollar and to hell with humanity.

Like most of the staff but over my last few visits have noticed how much they have tightened the machines. Time to hang up my gambling shoes.

I been going to dotty for a long time and you can only tell once again when dotty it has tighten up their machines so you can't win anything and that's very sad and when a casino keeps doing that they needs to be shut down not saying you will win every time but when it has been over 9 months in a place where everyone is talking about it something needs to be done it needs to be reported immediately

Scanning and taking pictures of ID's. If there is a Data Breach all your information will be in jeopardy. WILL NOT be returning to any Dotty's.

What happened to the store at Farm and Durango???? You really have some great people- Stacy, Dave, Shawn, Tammy, Kim and the guy that works graveyard. But what the hell is wrong with Alex! She is too busy sitting on her butts at a table talking to people than doing their job. Was there for 3 hours and never got a 'Hello' then when she came over 15 minutes later and asked if I wanted a drink. But she forgot about it and went back to talking. 15 minutes later she remembered. Now it has been 2 hours and she hasn't offered another one. What horrible customer service! The friendliness is why we come to Dotty's she shouldn't work at Dotty's on Farm and Durango!!
