**** BEWARE OF THEIR "ACCIDENTAL" TIPS****I've been to District One in Las Vegas multiple times, and it's always my first or last stop before heading back home. This time, I decided to take my friends for their first visit. While the food was as great as always, the service was a major letdown. When we first walked in, the restaurant was empty, yet we were met with an attitude and told to wait while they set up a table. After a few minutes, we were finally seated, but it seemed like the employees didn't want to serve that day. We were barely spoken to, and it felt like they were avoiding our table. Getting someone's attention was a challenge, and the experience was already off to a horrible start. On a positive note, the food runners were very nice and welcoming. However, the service was inconsistent. We would request something, and the worker would go to the back kitchen, only to come back out and forget what we asked for. This happened multiple times, even though the place wasn't busy at all. We had to ask multiple employees for anything specific, only to finally be told they no longer had it. Ridiculous. To top it off, I received an email showing they manually added an extra charge on top of the gratuity! No way am I adding a 42% tip for that kind of service. I wonder how many mistakes like these they are going to make. Overall, while the food is great, the service needs a serious overhaul. Until then, I won't be coming back.

I've been here twice now and I've enjoyed both my experiences! I don't have high expectations for Vietnamese food in Vegas since I'm from California but this place definitely exceeded my expectations.Their Oxtail Fried Rice is probably the best fried rice I've ever had in my life- the oxtail was so tender and I really liked how the rice really soft/fluffy and packed with flavor. Even though it's on the oilier side(probably from the oxtail fat), it doesn't taste greasy at all. We also got the Big Bone Soup and the flavor for this one was decadent, I really like the pho broth that it comes with as well. Their Oxtail Pho is also good, just not my favorite as I don't really opt for pho noodles. I thought the grilled scallops were going to come with clear vermicelli noodles but it was actually with toasted nuts and green onions, which I absolutely loved! It was different than that I'm used to, so I really enjoyed this as our appetizer and would highly recommend.I love that there's also a bar here, they have a really cool drink menu with their own Vietnamese take on traditional drinks like michelada, moscow mule, mojito, and so on. Our favorite was the Fresh Coconut Mojito, which had super cute presentation by coming in a real coconut! Love that they also give you the fresh coconut juice on the side. You definitely get your money's worth here, their portions are huge and probably meant for sharing so it's a great place to eat family style. Overall, cannot wait to come back to try different items on the menu as everything I've tried here so far has not disappointed.

Amidst the bustling food scene here in Las Vegas this is the ultimate pho experience.District One Kitchen and Bar is Pho heaven to me. I have never seen so many choices of Pho that you are able to choose from. Some of the examples are Oxtail pho, Lobster pho, surf and turf pho, and the list goes on. The ambiance gives modern casual sports bar, and seems quiet popular on the weekends. I would classify this place as a excellent off-strip gem to get some delicious comfort food. Despite being busy the staff are very vigilant and seat clean up and seat new people very fast. I waited maybe 15 mins. Everyone was so friendly, and the cuisine was top tier. I definitely recommend.

The best modern Vietnamese / Asian fusion eatery in Vegas. Now in its 10th year, it set the trend for big bone pho and Maine lobster pho even before influencers popularized it in recent years. It continues to innovate and impress.A go to starter, steamed sea snails in a fragrant lemongrass broth. Just the right comforting chew, like bubble gum from the sea! Also a must, the "Bo Tai Chanh" (beef Carpaccio). A complete dish where the raw beef mineral notes are perfectly accented by the spicy, zesty, citrusy, peppery notes of all the ingredients served with. Fried shallots add a great textural contrast. Finally, the simple grilled whole squid, sublime. Always perfectly cooked. Tender but toothsome at the same time. Now the main event, noodle soups. Well cooked pho noodles. Excellent, beefy, well spiced and seasoned broth that brings out the sweetness of both beef and seafood. Perfectly braised, fall off the bone tender oxtails. For marrow lovers, the big bone pho is a must get. That bone is LOADED with marrow. The whole Maine lobster pho is next level provided you wash out the head with the pho broth. It adds a whole new level of umami to the bowl and makes the lobster sweeter.Solid Bun Bo Hue exploding with flavor. Finally, the dark horse, OXTAIL PHO LOCO MOCO. Holy $hit! Rice topped with a grilled hamburger patty drenched in a gravy of pulled braised oxtail, veg, and beefy pho broth crowned with a crispy egg. Someone from Hawaii, learn how to make this so I don't need to fly 2500 miles to get this crack loco moco.Solid mixology program with inventive cocktails that feature an Asian twist.Always great service.Impressive since day one and still going strong.

We came here on Sunday around 11am or so for lunch. The place about half full and about three staff total and we got seated right away. We ordered pho rare beef and meatball, steak and egg, bò lúc lắc salad, fresh coconut and Vietnamese coffee and the food coming out fast and the server were attentive most of the time even though there is three severs on the floor. D1KB it's a cool place and a nice Vietnamese restaurant for lunch and dinner.

I stopped by here as a third option for dinner since both previous options have a long waiting time. I don't regret coming here for dinner at all. I stopped by 1 hour before they close the kitchen so I had to order everything once I sat down. I ordered:Pho Tai no cilantroPho GaPho Dac BietCrispy Eggrolls6 Oysters on a half shellThe broth is flavorful and they were generous with giving lime slices. The oysters were delicious. I thought it would have a hard time swallowing these because of its size but no issue here. Staffs are friendly and always checking in on us.The only downfall was that they definitely use old oil to fry the eggrolls. I thought they were going to be the jumbo size eggrolls I normally see at other Vietnamese restaurants but these are the small ones. I would skip it next time. They also ran out of coconut juice and coconut ice cream so I couldn't try these during my visit. What a bummer.Parking lot available. It may be difficult to find a parking spot during peak hours.

Decent Food, But Falls Short for Vietnamese FoodiesAs an avid Vietnamese foodie, I found the food at District One to be just alright. The flavors were mid, and nothing particularly stood out. For the price point, especially for a bowl of pho, I expected more. The fresh rice noodles were overcooked, resulting in an overly thick and slightly off texture. My friend tried the Loco Moco, which he thought was decent--an interesting take on the dish. Another friend ordered the Mekong Noodles expecting a dry-style dish, but it came with broth, leaving her a bit disappointed.I had the ribeye, which was decent but not memorable. On the positive side, the restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, even on a busy Friday night. Service was fast and attentive, which we appreciated.Overall, while the atmosphere and service were good, the food didn't quite meet expectations for its price point or authenticity. I'd recommend it more for casual dining than for a true Vietnamese culinary experience.

We came here for lunch and there were not a lot of people here. They had a wide selection of pho so I went with what I normally ordered at pho restaurants and got the Pho Tai. The waitress was nice and friendly as well. The restaurant looked clean so that was good. The food came out a few minutes later and the Pho Tai was okay to me. The broth had flavor but wasn't what I was used to and was their version of it. The meat was not thinly sliced but again, this was their version of it. Nothing wrong with their version. The portion was enough to fill me up so I thought it was okay overall.Overall, the pho place was okay for the area and worth checking out other things on their menu since there was variety.
