Desert Hills Motel

Absolutely horrible I made reservation came to check in was told the office is across the street at the sterling motel. I get there as I approached the office door to people were outside Asked if I could give them some money. And told me if I get a room there I'll have a real hard night " don't want no white boys here".I go in to tell and was told to wait outside. No security and this was 3pm during the day. So I ask for my money back they refused. Horrible management . If this is the owner or responsible party please reach out

this place is disgusting. We opened up the door. The smell of mold hit us in the face just as we open the door when we got to the motel the sign on the door said to pick up the key from another location, went to the location, the girl inside was so nice but that needs to be shut down that place is not for animals to stay in I did not stay there. I lost money I had to go and get another hotel last minute. I'm lost for words.

If there was a below 0 zeroes for this rating I would choose that because this place has bed bugs and now I'm stuck with them and my poor children getting bitten by these with allergic reactions that swell their bite bumps! Can't believe they r taking money from honest people who just want to spend the night under a roof! Knowing damn well that their rooms r infested with bed bugs!Worst part is that even their non smoking rooms stink like cigarette smoke ... My 4 month old baby girl's clothes and blankets were penetrated by this stench the whole time... SO SAD!!!! BTW complaining to them about this place was pointless because they will always deny everything! Hope this places closes down soon! Not fair! Not worth saving some money at this disgusting place!!!!!

If I could rate this lower I would. First off when you call them they are incredibly unprofessional and don't pick up the phone most of the time. They'll even tell you to call back later sometimes if you actually get someone on the line. It was in the shadiest area of town to the point where I didn't feel safe with a group of people with me. Drug addicts and prostitutes everywhere. The rooms smelled, had no amenities, flickering lights, horrible beds, and the worst part was the rude and unhelpful staff. This sorry excuse for a motel took $30 of my $100 security deposit because they claim that there was damage to the room. When I inquired further, it took me 7 phone call attempts over a 2 day period to get in touch with someone. Finally, a rude woman on the phone said we stained some of their white towels. I have NEVER had a problem like this with any hotel ever, I'm the type of hotel guest who picks up all he trash in the room before leaving! I asked the woman to confirm that that was worth $30 additional dollars to the $345 we spent for only two nights and she said "yep" in a rude tone and then I said wow and that I would never stay there again and thanked her for letting me know and she said "yep" again in an even meaner tone.This is the first bad review I have ever left for an establishment. Please NEVER book here, for more reasons than one. I couldn't find one good thing about this place and am thankful I wasn't robbed or raped given the area.

At first I wasn't going to write a review on this place becasue I didn't want to write anything negative, but people need to know how gross this place is. Me and my children stayed here for 2wks because we were in between houses and unfortunatly this was the only place that had vacancies within my budget (weekly's are cheaper and cleaner than this place). It's run down, dirty carpet, dirty walls, the microwave wasn't cleaned, the linen looked dinjy and dirty, it stunk really bad, carpet was tore up, I never locked my door when I left because it was super hard to unlock the door because the key wasn't reaching the lock part. The heater only had 1 knob so had to use that knob for heat, air, warm and cool! After staying for a week, the housekeeper, Rianna or however you spell her name came to do room service and had the audacity to tell me that if I wanted her to vacuum or make my bed we would have to step out of the room because of the corona virus, yet she was standing at the door talking to me with no mask on but wanted me to step out, a little dumb but even worse, for her to be so worried about the corona virus, she didn't have on a mask or disposable gloves and was touching everything including the cart and vacuum without changing gloves and touching clean linen but worried about the corona virus. The room was nasty and dirty when we moved in so I'm not trippen on her not wanting to clean because when I got there I cleaned the walls, microwave and used my own sheets, pillows and towels. Tell me why when I went to go get my deposit, these fools told me that I left a soiled sheet and towel, yet we had our own sheets and we used the towels to clean them nasty walls.... Unless you're just desperate and all the motels are taken, don't stay at this nasty, dirty, stinky, overpriced motel, you would be better off sleeping in a dumpster!!

DO NOT STAY HERE !!! YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF AND HAVE YOUR PRIVACY INVADED!!I Stayed here for a whole 7 days and let me tell you, i couldnt leave fast enough! the woman in the room to the left was outside with her whole family everyday i was there eaze-dropping on every conversation. Meanwhile, the day i was checking out a wooly mammoth tried to fight me and my MINOR daughter fir waking her up before noon! simoly because their doors are off center and shut loudly. AND THEN they refused to give me my deposit because i used the towels they supplied me with!! Absolute Joke of an establishment. On the 2nd day i was there one of the employees knocked on my door and refused to leave until they took pictures of my room, with me in it! supposedly "because of the stuff at mandalay bay" like ???? what ??? aswell as the mammoth who tried to fight me, her "boyfriend" (pimp) was selling meth out of his room the whole week!! you could smell it through the vents!! And also the fact that no one has 25 people just come in for 5 minutes and leave in one night .. lol. MORAL OF THE STORY, Never stay here!!

I masterbated in the ac unit and the drapes repeatedly. I stayed in the room playing with myself for the entire rental agreement.By the time they came to check on me I was just one throbbing sweaty bloody stump. So I just made out like a champ. Thanks for the fantastic week

This place was absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! Cockroaches, bed bugs, mold, rats, and just about every disgusting thing was in my room! Homeless men asking for money wouldn't leave me alone. This place is not safe, and please do not go!

This place is God awful. It is filthy, and filled with long term tenants. I never even got out of the car. I booked because I needed parking for my car and moving trailer. I doubt either one would still have been there if I woke up. I drove to the Walmart parking lot and slept in my car. It felt much safer and cleaner. Still fighting the charges through my credit card company. I cannot believe that any online travel website lists this place. It is humanity's last stop.

When we booked this motel, the pictures must be from many years ago. It looked very run down, it's in a terrible part of town, and there were sketchy characters wondering around the parking lot. We had luggage and groceries and went to the office to check in and the door was locked. We called the # on the door and they told us we had to get another taxi and go to a motel down the road to check in and then come back. We cancelled our reservation and they refused to give us a full refund. They kept half. No thank you. If I could rate negative stars, I would.
