After a disappointing experience at the Coronado Café, my husband and I decided to stop at Delmar deli to order sandwiches to go for dinner.I've been here in the past so I knew the sandwiches would be good. The pastrami is amazing, definitely one of the best in town. I saw them pull the meat right out of the smoker and slice it fresh for my sandwich. They also have a nice variety of sandwiches, bagels, breakfast and desserts.I definitely recommend coming here if you want to get something quick and good.

My First World Problem:I live outside of Vegas and drive approximately 50 minutes each way to get my bagels at the Bagel Cafe' almost every 2 weeks for the past 10 years. I buy 14 bagels, put them in my freezer, and love them. I question the 1.5+ hour round-trip drive to get them. Today, I decided to save 5-10 minutes off my drive to avoid heavier traffic and went to the Del Mar Deli instead. I had no idea this place opened 1.5 hours later than the Bagel Cafe' and arrived 45 minutes before they opened. My fault as I should have Googled their hours instead of assuming their hours, especially with a long drive. There were still at least six staff there getting ready for business. The bagels I came for were all done and ready and in the glass showcase inches from me. I asked if I could get the 14 to go and I would pay cash (the cost is $18 and I wanted to leave $25) since I drove 40 minutes to get bagels. I feel they should have helped me and let the cashier know to ring up 14 bagels and put the cash in the register as the 1st sale of the day.I did not want to come home without my bagels, so I drove 45 minutes further to the Bagel Cafe'. I ended up spending 3+ hours today to get my bagels. A little common sense and understanding by the Del Mar-Deli could have avoided my waste of time and this review. I even called the boss after they opened to let him know what happened and give him a chance to not have me write a negative review. He was rude, not business-minded, and lost a loyal customer.

We were over at the bar area watching the football game and we were getting hungry while drinking beers . I saw this cool deli with pizza, sandwiches and desserts and lots of people. Must be good if there's a line, right?? Sure enough it was. We had the corn beef sandwich. Fresh tasty meat stacked thick. I must say it was one of the best sandwiches I've eaten in years. There was a few tables nestled there. I took ours back to the bar area tables.People said their pizzas were good too. I'm going back here again the next time I'm in town.

Food is always amazing here! To be fair I get the egg salad sandwich usually. The desserts are so tasty and the matzo ball soup is so divine. It's perfectly salted and flavorful. I love the rosemary in the broth. Service is always so quick and convenient, very consistent and orders are never lagged. The quality of the food shows. The ambiance is deli friendly, lots of tables and very clean.

The ice cream was soo good not too hard not too soft just right. The service was great, very polite and moved really fast. The seating is kinda limited but if you're able to get a seat it's fun watching people playing the slots. They have many flavors and also root beer floats. This place is amazing.

We went to Del Mar Deli inside South Point for a late dinner after seeing Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. They are a little hard to find at first because it's a small deli tucked away in the very back of the casino, but once you find the sports book and Kate's Korner, their presence becomes clearer. The service here was super quick and super friendly. When we placed our order, they gave us a number that would be called over a loudspeaker when our order was ready. It wasn't busy at all so we got our order in about 5-10 minutes. We decided to take it back home with us instead of dining in.They had lots of food options available, but when I laid my eye on their tuna sandwich on their menu, this is exactly what I got, as this is one of my favorite sandwiches out there. The tuna sandwich came with lettuce, onions, and tomato on white bread with a pickle on the side. While this sandwich was super delicious, I think that they should take it easy on the onions or maybe dice them up a little bit next time. It was packed with onions and they had that insanely spicy flavor to it (when onions are diced, the spice is not present). My boyfriend got some club sandwich on white bread which had turkey, bacon, tomato, and lettuce, which also came with a pickle on the side. Even though we shared a big bucket of popcorn during the movie, he was still hungry and ended up finishing the entire thing. And their desserts...OMG. They look SO good. They have cookies as big as your entire hand and they have so many mouthwatering yummy cakes available in many flavors. I'll definitely have to try their desserts next time we get the chance to visit this deli when we're at South Point again.

The name "of the sea" doesn't make much sense to me because you can really get anything here. It's more or less just a regular/quick spot to grab a bite. The pizza and fries are good. They do a weird thing where you get a bagel to accompany a salad - and the salad is huge by itself. Usually the long lines move quick.

Five stars for onion rings, bagels, and coconut cake and service. This place isn't cheap, but the $6 thick, fried, bendy onion rings is a killer deal because they're among the best I've had and you get a lot! I say killer because I felt like I was on the verge of heart blockage. Others mentions "a definite to order" (Rick R, Virginia Beach), good sized portions and fried enough (Clarence V, Glendale), 9 of 10 (Missy O of Berkely), AMAZING (Aly K of Vegas), and "good" (hard to impress Ben J, WA), The toasted bagel wasn't cheap either, but the amount of cream cheese was obscene. They have a fair share of haters who miss the Bagel Cafe, but most are pleased, including: "wonderful. Lightly crispy outside, perfect medium density and bready on the inside" (Chris R, NY), "the bagel was the best part! I love how they put the cream cheese on it & give you plenty" (Terica B, Henderson), "delicious" (Erin R, Vegas), I mainly come here for the bagels. Anytime I am in South Point I stop and get one or two to take home (Heather N, Vegas), "impressive size"(Daniel S, Henderson), delicious NYC bagel is truly a NYC transplant" (Victoria S, San Clemente), "toasted plain bagel with cream cheese..a huge bagel, slathered with a thick layer of cream cheese. mmm! so good for when you don't want a heavy meal in the evening" (Janis M, Bakersfield), "delicious "(Laura G , PA), "had an appropriate amount of cream cheese" (Kevin M of Baltimore), "super fresh, even at 6pm" (Randi M, CA), "pair [your food] with a bagel and you have a solid, filling meal for not a lot of money" (Michael C, Albuquerque), "fluffy and loaded with cream cheese" (Roger B, Seattle), "a bit pricy, but a generous portion of cream cheese, and the bagel was oh so good" (Scott H of Vegas), "large and decent quality" (Jay A, Vegas), "delicious" (Mike M, Covina), "recommend you at least have a breakfast bagel!" (Karen G, CA), "a good breakfast bagel" (Christina V, FL), "salt bagel: delicious" (Lisa A, FL), "my date enjoyed her bagel" (Danny S, Vegas), "bagel and cream cheese was divine" (Suzanne S, FL), "excellent" (Teresa J, CT), "very good and fresh" (Joe K, vegas), and "Big, round, soft, crusty, the best in town, these could stand up to the competition in New Jersey" (Jay F of Vegas). We got three on our trip, though we will ask for it to be toasted twice next time. The $8 slice of coconut cake was massive and creamy. We bought a slice and stuck it in the fridge knowing it'd be the perfect thing to devour when we got back to our room around 1am after the Dead show. "All the world is cake, so take a piece but not too much"- Jerry Garcia. They also have Diet Dr. Pepper, which makes up for the lack of Diet Coke products on grounds. However, I have a few complaints to keep it from five stars. The food is hit and miss: the limp fries were over-seasoned, the dry chicken fingers were flat and fishy. The value of some items might be in question, like the pastrami (which came highly recommended from a fellow Bingo player and security) portions looked small for the price. Check your to-go bags because they forgot my cole slaw (but gave me some the next day). The side of ranch is a flimsy runny Newman's Own (get real ranch, fools). Finally, at peak times a sign warns food will take up to 25 minutes. But, go there for onion rings, a bagel, some cake- a meal fit for a king. (Regina King)
