I am always down to try vegan spots, especially ones that offer sweets!This past Friday, I came across this black-owned vegan spot at "First Fridays" night market.They had vegan cookies and vegan cookie sandwiches on deck boo.Cookies I got...Turtle - I felt like I got two cookies in one, which is perfect to me. The top layer had the pecans and the bottom layer had chocolate chips. A nice, gooey cookie.Chocolate Chip Cookie - a gooey, cookie with big chocolate chips throughout. So good!I loved that these were big cookies too because I had the choice to eat a little and save a little for later. I cannot wait to try their ice cream sandwiches next time.The owners were cool as well. We love a family business over here!5/5 stars

Wow! First bite of this peanut butter cookie and I'm sold. Vegan desserts have come a long way in general, and the cookies at Cookies A'More really prove it! I came across this cookie place at the Green Valley Farmers Market (Thursdays 9am-1pm, I believe), and there were a plethora of desserts to choose from. It was hard narrowing down one choice, but I am confident I made the perfect choice when I got this cookie. They have a few gluten free options too, but make sure you get to the market early before they run out!

Obsessed is the word of the day when it comes to these cookies. I first stumbled upon this delight at First Friday's vendor event located downtown in the Arts District. From that moment on I knew I was in love. The second time was at the Vegan Food Fest and I was so excited to see Cookies A'more there! I had to try every cookie that was available. And I mean every cookie lol. Like I said, OBSESSED! These cookies are 100% vegan and oh so delicious. I've had plenty of vegan cookies and they do not taste as rich and moist as these cookies. You have to try them yourself to understand the passion I experience. Now there isn't a store front but she does set up in the LV area to bless patrons with these amazing cookies. I will be back for you Cookies A'more!

Tried these cookies at the Saturday market and I'm sad I only bought one. They're so good!! Maybe the best cookies I've ever had. I had the turtle one...and it was so perfectly soft and not too sweet. Tasted like a standard non-vegan cookie so if you're not vegan and were concerned about that, you wouldn't know the difference. Next time I see them I'll definitely buy more.
