When I first heard about an interactive robot barista making boba, I put it on my to do list. I stopped by Cloutea inside the Forum Shops at Caeser's Palace Las Vegas on a Tuesday afternoon. There is also another Cloutea location right outside the Forum Shops. We were first greeted by a robotic cart with Peach Oolong Tea samples. The peach oolong tea was a bit too sweet for me. Inside, there is a huge Cloutea boba that is great for pictures and a few seats and tables. We then took a look at the menu and ordered the Original Boba Classic with the staff member. The staff member put the label on and boba in the cup, then he pressed some buttons. Next thing ADAM, an AI-powered robot, started to make the boba. ADAM talks to you briefly and your drink is ready in no time. It was unique to see a robot with a body and arms making the boba. In Seattle, I went to Artly Coffee and there was a robotic barista that makes coffee but it was just an arm. In Artly Coffee, the robot steams the milk and does a lot more than ADAM. The Original Boba Classic was alright, nothing special. It was a blend of Okinawa milk tea and honey boba. This was more for the experience than the boba.

A boba making robot? Welcome to 2023. I stopped by ClouTea to check out ADAM in real life. I liked how easy it was to order and that you could chose your level of sweetness and ice. After ordering, ADAM gets to work on making your drink right in front of you. The drinks overall tasted good. It wasn't the best I ever had but a solid option for the strip. I'd definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. A great drink option for kids and those that are alcohol free in Vegas.

It's really amazing to see new technology form in many aspects, and now seeing it evolve to bubble tea is fun to watch. There's two spots to find Cloutea - one located right outside the Forum Shops and one located inside (recommend using the map directory inside for more accurate directions compared to online maps). Cloutea offers a reasonable menu with a variety of fruit tea and milk tea options. I ended up trying more fruit tea options.Peachy Paradise: I found it to be pretty sweet despite being 50% sugar, so I would recommend lowering the sugar level if you want something less sweet. It was very refreshing, especially after a long day of walking around.Jasmine Mango Tango: Less sweet than the other drink with the same amount of sugar. They ran out of the default toppings so opted for the other jellies they had left. The service was quick compared to the outdoor location and appeared to be more organized. It was a fun experience to watch the robot make the drink right in front of you! Overall, I would recommend checking it out.

The egg-shaped robot waiter at Cloutea might be a gimmick, but it's still fun to watch as it mixes drinks plus there's never a need to wonder about the hygiene of your server. The 'jasmine passion fruit boba tea' was outstanding on a globally warmed desert afternoon in the mid one hundred teens - jasmine tea with leaves that are fresh-brewed daily, passion fruit, boba, ice, and a mound of balls called 'water chestnut popping pearls' to add some crunch. You choose one of three levels of sweetness (fructose)...sweet, mildly sweet, or not at all. Mildly was just right and the robot went to work grabbing different ingredients after the employee (a staff of one) typed in the command. Maybe this is the future of the bar industry as well...one paid human and a staff of robots that don't need bathroom breaks. They're located on the ground floor of Caesars Forum Shops, next to Joe's Seafood, and you're probably better off buying a $10 Cloutea drink to do some gambling with instead of waiting 20 minutes for a cocktail waitress to come by with a watered down beverage. This boba drink definitely hit the spot, prices are very reasonable all things considered, and the robot's demeanor is really no different than those steely-gazed casino pit bosses who say mostly nothing for hours and don't care about your problems. It's a refreshing, full 20 ounce drink that the robot shrink wraps for you, so just poke it with the fat straw and it won't spill. Give this place a try!

Disappointing Experience at Boba Shop - Unaccommodating Staff and Unsatisfactory DrinksI recently visited a boba shop that left me thoroughly disappointed with both the service and the quality of the drinks. I felt compelled to share my experience as it fell short of my expectations in several ways.First and foremost, the staff was remarkably unaccommodating. When I expressed my honest opinion about not enjoying my drink and inquired if it was possible to get another one, I was met with a disappointing response. The staff declined my request, stating that I had consumed too much of the drink already and therefore couldn't exchange it. I also inquired about their refund policy, only to be informed that they do not offer refunds. I attached a photo of the drink as well to show that it was clearly still a lot of the drink present. Adding to my frustration, both drinks I purchased were priced at $15, which I found to be quite expensive. Given the scorching 104-degree weather, it was inevitable that we needed something refreshing to drink. However, when I requested a cup of water, I was informed that they only sold bottled water for a price of $6-7. This lack of basic service was disheartening, particularly given the sweltering conditions. Ambiance was uninviting as well.On top of that, the robot didn't even make my drink because it was broken. Staff made the drink.

I love the drinks here. So comforting to hangout here. The workers are really respectful and kind. I think this might be the best tea place so far.
