This was a great place very welcoming and cozy. I came here looking for a place to eat in the neighborhood after shopping at the mall and one of my friends was doing his own thing. So i knocked on the door and the waiter was very friendly and able to find me a seat. Although I'm not gonna lie, I felt like I was in the wrong place. Like I was going to some underground place but definitely added to the excitement. Even though I did not have a reservation, they were kind enough to get me a table. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, inviting And you feel at home in the restaurant almost because it literally feels like you're eating in house rather than a standard restaurant. The people there were awesome and even Met a lovely couple who were celebrating their anniversary plenty of people willing to talk and chat. The food was par excellénce (I think that's how you spell it?). The presentation was awesome and again feels like it's a home-cooked meal that I would find in the north end of Boston. Honestly, I don't have a bad thing to say about this place would definitely like to try it again if I'm ever back in Vegas.

I'm always happy to enjoy a classic home cooked Italian dinner. Here at Chicago Joe's that's exactly what you will get! I love eating Italian food and especially when it's prepared the way they make it here. Although it was our first time here, we can definitely tell that it's been prepared like this for 50 years come this spring. The bread they served us with warm softened butter was very fresh, soft and tasty. My wife ordered the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and she loved it! She said that it was the best ravioli she has ever eaten. I ordered Chicken Marsala. I always order Chicken Marsala when I eat at a new Italian restaurant because I believe that if the sauce and pasta are well seasoned/ cooked, and the chicken breast is juicy, not dry, it will definitely mean that everything else on the menu will be too. Of course the Chicken Marsala was delicious! The parsley, mushrooms, Marsala wine, butter, creamy whipping cream were combined to perfection! The restaurant is small, cozy and dimly lit for a nice atmosphere. We were served by an older gentleman who was very friendly, polite and extremely busy but had the time to make us feel welcomed and tended to. So we highly recommend you and your family, friends should visit Chicago Joe's for a great dinner experience! Keep up the great service and next time we're in town, we will return. Ps; Calling ahead for reservations is highly recommended.

This restaurant is small. I'm talking like a house with add ons, but I liked it. Best to make reservations. It was Wednesday night and pretty busy. My server was Randy. Actually he was the server, greeter, busboy/man & cashier. And he did it all well. Randy was working 6 tables simultaneously and I never once felt ignored or neglected. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and cheesy garlic bread. Both were very good. My salad was great too. Had the creamy garlic dressing. This was my first visit and I'll go back because the overall experience was on point.

First time here and I know it's a staple in town. Birthday dinner celebration! I'm still going lol It's cool that this is a house that was converted into a restaurant! Great concept! It's very old school charm and I liked that. We had the special, Maryland crab stuffed ravioli with prawns. And garlic butter sauce and chicken parmigiana. You start with a nice side salad and bread, we also ordered garlic cheese bread which was delicious! The special was really good, could have been a bit more heat hot but it was good. The chicken parmigiana wasn't the best I've had. I think the pasta and sauce should have been mixed together instead of the sauce on top of the noodles. The chicken needed a tad more seasoning :)Our server was good, personable and friendly. Overall, pretty good. Wished they were open for lunch!

I had such high hopes for this place. I've heard great things so maybe I hyped this place in my head up so much they couldn't help but fall short. Service-IMPECCABLE. Great server, friendly. We didn't feel rushed at all. Garlic bread and cheese. Good. Spaghetti and meatballs-Okay. Truth be told the sauce was very bland, my pasta wasn't drained all the way so my spaghetti was pretty watery and not holding the sauce. The meatballs were okay they were spongy/rubbery in texture. Fettucine Alfredo-awful. My friend said it was terrible. She said that she thought the pasta had been in dirty water I told her I doubt it. Then she had me try it. I love Alfredo and almost got this and I was so glad I didn't. I don't put nutmeg in my own sauce because it's not my favorite. I have had many Alfredo's with the appropriate amount of nut meg, but this was overpowering. If it wasn't nutmeg it was some other spicy sweet seasoning. Lasagna-very good. Spumoni cake -okay, can tell it's been in the freezer a long time or at least the crust tasted like it had been around for awhile. The parking is easy. You'll NEED a reservation there are maybe 15 tables. I don't understand the hype of this place. I was underwowed (not a word but let's make it happen.)

A small house remodeled into an Italian restaurant gives romantic atmosphere and keeps service time down. Our server was very attentive and quick. The food, however was not great. The dinner salad was basic with an entire cup of dressing poured over it, which was good, just too much dressing. I ordered the special blue crab ravioli and shrimp in creamy citrus sauce. I did not taste any citrus in the sauce. My husband ordered the veal picatta which was not on the menu but the chef was able to make it. I'm sorry to say that the veal was not pounded and breaded. It looked and tasted more like very thin slices of beef. My advice is to maybe order the traditional Italian items on the menu. Thanks for having us, we enjoyed our date.

We had a great time at this restaurant in one of the oldest free-standing buildings in Las Vegas. We came here for date night and the ambiance was spot on. The restaurant is quite cozy inside and it kind of feels like you're having dinner in someone's living room, but it makes for a nice cozy experience. Our waiter was very kind and friendly and made our experience even better. I ordered the chicken Marsala and I think I didn't know exactly how many mushrooms were involved in this dish, so it was not my most favorite thing but that is entirely my own fault . The chicken was cooked to perfection however, and my boyfriend loved his crab ravioli--which was the special. If you're looking for a unique vegas experience with delicious pasta and a cozy ambience, go to Chicago joes!

Wasnt overly hungry but we needed to eat before heading out of town and my husband had been there years ago for business...so off we went! What a welcome change from all those outrageous prices on the strip. The atmosphere is welcoming and quaint...just what you would expect from a small Italian restaurant. Food was very good, portions were generous, service was friendly and the air was filled with locals laughing and catching up. If traveling through Las Vegas, do yourself a favor and stop by!

Italian. Lasagna. Cozy dining. We an absolutely enjoyed our experience at this place. As you will read in pretty much every review this is an old establishment, a house converted into restaurant, you eat in what use to be a bedroom or living room that been in business for decades. All true so it's a must try. Tips: make a reservation or you probably won't get in. Get your reservation 6pm or before. Take advantage of the smaller portion menu, it's a deal. $18 gets you your choice of several dishes - I had the lasagna. Comes with hot bread and a salad with creamy parmesan dressing. The lasagna is loaded with cheese and meatballs, and everything of goodness highly highly highly recommend it.The servers are very knowledgeable. Very nice and enjoy yourself at this great establishment.

Chicago Joe's is great. Prices are reasonable. The service is great whether you're a regular or a first time tourist. Quality is as good as places on the strip. Sure, it's not a fancy dining room. You'll still have a great meal and leave with money in your wallet.
