Chef JB Badlands BBQ

Walk in they told me the rib slab package - came to 26$ i got what looked like last nights leftovers 2 pieces of bread and 1 small beans and 1 small slaw. Total charged 26$. Menu they gave me on way out says package is 27.95$ and with slab you get 1 whole chicken 1 PINT slaw and 1 PINT beans. I got scammed. These small spots ALWAYS wiggle you. Food was just as bad. One of ribs looked like it came off someones half eaten plate. There wasnt even any sauce on the ribs wtf is that extra $$$ come on man. Food was supposed to be pick me up for my mother and it ended up an embarrassment all around. A complete and total waste of time and money.

One of the best BBQ we ever tasted! The BBQ sauce is amazing! Kids loved it too. It's inside where it says bar and grill. Nice and clean restaurant! We had the chicken fingers, ribs, and hamburger! All were very delicious! The ribs were amazing! A must try!

Wonderful BBQ from Chef JB and his Crew! This is the real deal folks. We had homemade chili, coleslaw, cornbread and best of all, ribs & pulled pork. It was all so tender and yummy. The price is the best in town. Thanks Chef. We will see you soon!!

Best dammed BBQ outside Texas. The Ribs are hard to beat. Chef JB is a character. It's not Mc Donald's so don't expect to eat there for $3.99 but if you like great BBQ it's the closest thing to Texas I've found in the valley!!!

The staff is very friendly! The reason why I give it a one star is because the food sucks. I am in the national guard and they catered to us during our annual training. Honestly our MRE (meal ready to eat) is way better. The cookies they serve is generic store bought. I've never had such bad food from a catering company before. Every meal has been under seasoned, the best thing I've had from this company is probably the sweet tea and lemonade that was made from the store bought mixers. Although the staff are very friendly and kind, just not the food.

Fell in love with Chef JB as soon as we contacted him for our clients wedding. This review is long overdue but they are an amazing company with staff that are extremely friendly and accommodating. The Chef came and met the bride and groom personally before leaving his staff in charge. The food was great and the presentation was absolutely amazing. I cannot wait to use this company again in the future!

I had my grandsons graduation catered with The Chefs Catering. The did a awesome job. Ribs, BBQ Chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers and wonderful salads. Debbie

The Chef's Catering catered our event at The Martin! Amazing finger foods, desserts, and very friendly staff. They were quick to quote me on pricing, were early to the event to set up, their display was fabulous, and again, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire event. I highly recommend them and plan to use them at future events!

Absolutely amazing service, food and value. JB catered our wedding which was held in a private Villa in Las Vegas the end of February. The staff, first of all was unbelievable kind, friendly and did their finest to make our event flawless. Kudos to JB for hiring such tremendous servers! They provided not only the tables, chairs, but the linens, china and crystal. The cost included a VERY full menu to meet the needs of both vegetarian guests and those who were not. JB cooked the Chicken and Steaks on site which I thought was quite impressive. Everyone who attended our event raved about the food! Chef's catering left all remaining food and cleaned up, took away the chairs and tables, soiled linens and left the place as nice as it was when they arrived...nicer actually, because the fridge was completely filled. No shortage of food. Best of all the price was extremely reasonable! I can't thank them enough for making our wedding so very special!

JB and staff catered my 70th birthday pool party. The staff was great and the food was served hot and tasty. Had plenty did not run out of anything. Would recommend JB to anyone interested in good food, good service and good value.
